Then
Inuyasha ran into the dorm, Miroku behind him, Sango tailing him. “Kagome!” Inuyasha shouted.
“What?” She asked. He lifted her into the air and she smiled. “What? What’s going on?”
“Sesshomaru,” he said breathlessly.
“What?” She repeated.
“He found a mate. They’re getting married!”
“That’s wonderful!” Kagome hugged Inuyasha again. “What’s her name? What’s she like?”
“Her name is Kagura. Apparently she’s a real ice queen.” Inuyasha laughed. “They’ll be perfect for each other.” Kagome smiled.
“I’m so happy he’s found someone.”
“Me too.” Inuyasha said. “Anyway the wedding will be this summer.”
“Awesome. I can’t wait!”

Kagome met Kagura a month before the wedding. Inuyasha hadn’t exaggerated she was as cold as Sesshomaru. But Kagome could tell, that somewhere deep inside those blood red eyes, there was kindness. Just like Sesshomaru.
Kagura fidgeted nervously the day of the wedding. “Well,” she said to Kagome, as Kagome did her make up for her. “We’re already mated by Youkai standards.” She explained as though Kagome were a child. “But, this is more of a formality for the times we live in.”
“Right.” Kagome said.
“I’m only nervous I won’t look my absolute best.” Kagura looked in the vanity mirror and smiled. “You’re good.”
Kagome beamed at her. “Thank you.”
“So, are you and Sesshomaru’s brother together?” She asked.
“Well . . . uh . . . wha? No.” She said. She wasn’t sure why she was stuttering all of a sudden.
“You like him though.” Kagura pried.
“Well, he’s my best friend.” Kagome compensated.
“Mm hmm.” Kagura smiled widely. “You’ve got it bad.”
“Got what bad?” Kagura gave her a look. “No! We don’t . . . it’s not like that.”
“Well you’re nearly twenty-one, surely you’ve thought of things like that.” Kagura smiled.
“What? No!” She blushed slightly and looked away.
“Kagura, we’d like to start now.” The priest knocked from the other side of the door.
“Okay.” Kagura called back.
“Where’s your Vail?” Kagome asked, quickly changing the subject.

The wedding was beautiful. Dozens of white rose pedals littered the ground. The carpet to the altar was white and perfect. Souta was the ring bearer for them. He had always been quite fond of Sesshomaru (never as much as he was fond of Inuyasha however). Rin (Who Sesshomaru had adopted only a year before the wedding), was the flower girl.
Kagome, Sango, and Maysana (Kagura’s friend), were the brides maids; whilst Inuyasha (Kagome on his arm), Miroku (Who had always been friendly with Sesshomaru, though they hadn’t known each other long), and Jaken (Sesshomaru’s lackey and friend), were their escorts.
Inuyasha remained at Sesshomaru’s side, as his best man. Inuyasha clapped his brother on the back as the wedding march started and Kagura appeared.
Sesshomaru smiled as his gorgeous bride walked confidently down the isle. He watched her hips sway and her hair in the breeze and he had to contain a low growl that rumbled through his body. Inuyasha smiled.
They had written their own, beautiful vows. When they placed their lips together and everyone clapped politely Kagome felt like she could cry. She wanted to feel that kind of love. Feeling silly and selfish she shook away her thoughts and led the train, meeting up with Inuyasha in the center isle.
“You don’t have to cry.” He muttered.
“It was a beautiful service.” She said impatiently.
“Admit it,” he said, making sure not to move his lips too much. “You wanted Sess and now he’s taken.”
Kagome fought the urge to hit him. She wouldn’t have everyone staring at her while she beat up the grooms’ brother. “You’re such a jerk.” She said under her breath.
Inuyasha just smiled.

And now we know where Rin comes from… and that Kagura has no friends of her own… and that Inuyasha’s the hottest dog boy in town… ^_-
Anyway, leave me some love peeps (hahaha I need sleep!!!!!) peace out!!<3 Anubis
