Prologue one

Beep . . . Beep . . . Beep . . . SMACK! was the all too famous sound of Kagome Higurashi getting up to do the same thing she does every day. As any normal teenager Kagome never really liked school, was always rebellious, and was always getting into trouble. She never really cared about what happened to her cause she had no family and was a self proclaimed rich kid. You would always hear about her and her mischievous doings in the news and in magazines but you could rarely find any pictures of the raven haired and paled skin beauty. She liked to keep to herself and not be bothered. She always wound up moving by the end of the year because of some sort of being rich and the crazy paparazzi people trying to get into her house and take pictures of her. She never really liked being a rich kid either. When her family had died, she had no clue on what to do, but she got the help of her aunt and got every thing fixed the way it should. No one ever really knew why the paparazzi was out for Kagome, but it had something to do with her mom had secretly married this weird mafia guy, but hell she didn’t know and really didn’t care. All she was worried about right now was getting to the airport on time to catch her final flight to America where she would HOPEFULLY live without the Japanese paparazzi on her ass all the freaking time.

Arriving on time to the airport, she boarded her plane without problems and was on her way to America to live out what she hoped to be the rest of her life peacefully or at least most of her life there. “Please buckle your seatbelts and prepare for take off.” You could hear the flight attendant over the intercom from the cockpit of the plane. Kagome had always hated flying no matter what. It wasn’t the height of the plane in the air or anything it was the turbulence that has always gotten to her. She was afraid of the plane going down and crashing, and killing her.
But there was something that Kagome was more afraid of then anything, and that was being alone and the silence.

In the world that she lived in there were demons, humans, and half-demons. There have always been many types of demons from dog to vampire. The rarest of them all was in fact the vampire demons. Legend has it, the vampire demons are rare and usually the strongest of all demons, and only one vampire demon has survived as far as anyone knows, it is no other then Kagome Amaya Higurashi. Being the only one left and a half breed none the less was a cause for trouble. Even though she is only a half breed she is as strong as any full breed any day.

“You may now unbuckle your seat belts and head toward the exit, and thank you for flying with us today and we hope you enjoyed the flight.” Once again she had landed in yet another country, school, house, and who knows maybe a few friends this time. Get a hold of yourself Kaggie. Let’s just get home and let’s take a long nice hot bath then bed. Yes, yes, bed did sound good right about now; Kagome had been up for twenty-four hours straight worrying about pointless things that she nor anybody else should worry about. She didn’t know why she was worried about coming to America, but there was something in the back of her mind that kept telling her something was going to happen that she would never forget. Climbing into the back of the limo she rested her head on the back of the seat and fell into a light slumber.
Dream Sequence
She was running through hallways and she had no clue where she was at, but there was one thing that was running a million miles per hour in her head I HAVE TO SAVE THE OTHERS. She had no idea who the others were but she was going to find the hell out even if it did kill her. She kept having flashbacks with six people that she had never seen; two figures that looked like males with the most beautiful golden eyes, two figures that also looked like girls one with cinnamon colored eyes and hair and the other one had black hair and pink eyes, and the last one a male with violet eyes. All that she could remember was that she had to save them before they all died or she would be alone for what would be the rest of her almost immortal life.
She woke up to someone telling her that she was home, and that she go in and get some rest because of having school in the morning. She did as she was told to do, but first on her agenda was to take a hot bath as she told herself earlier that she should do.

Running the water to her new bathtub in her new house she quietly got undressed and put her long raven hair in a twist and clipped it to the back of her head. She sank into the nearly scolding hot water that felt so good on her pale, flawless ivory skin. To you the water would turn your skin red and burn just a little bit, but to her it didn’t really bother her it actually felt pretty damn good. She remembered her dream like it was going to be part of her future. She mentally shrugged it off, but in the back of her mind her gears were turning to match the speed of the bullet train back in japan, or maybe they were going just a little bit faster. She laughed out loud for just considering the fact that the dream was going to be part of her future. After having her laugh, she grabbed her strawberry and vanilla shampoo and washed her hair and followed with the conditioner then body wash. She rinsed out her hair and rinsed off her body, got out of the tub, and finally dried off her wet body. When she was finished drying herself off, she put on her penguin pj’s on and went to bed.

She woke up in a cold sweat and she was breathing hard. She glanced at the clock beside her bed on her cherry oak night stand. The clock read 3:00 A.M.; she couldn’t get over the fact that she had the same dream that she had in the limo. It was something that began to worry her even more and more has she thought about it because this time there was more to it then the first time she had the dream when she was in the car.

She kept running and running til she reached then end of the hall just to find out that it was a dead end, but there were five doors on each side of the forever going hallway she just went down. This was a race against time. How could one decide on which door to go in when time was against you? I have to find them, I have to save them, was the only thing that kept her going.
She chose the first door to her left and started running again. She could hear faint sounds of the pain filled whimpers of the two girls and one of the guys. When she saw a faint, glowing light she was at the point of screaming at the top of her lungs to let them know that she was on her way, almost to them, but she had a second thought that if whoever was causing them the pain would cause them more or just kill them since she was almost there
to save them. Before she could reach the faint, glowing light, that’s when she woke up.
Mentally screaming as she looked at the clock, she fell back and her head hit the back of her headboard. “Ow, that’s just great. I wonder if I knocked some sense into me,” she said with a half laugh and half sigh. She scooted down some in her full size bed and rested her head on the black silk pillow and pulled her red silk blanket over her head and drifted into a dreamless sleep.
