~Chapter One~

 

Ring. Ring. Turing over to her side the young woman slammed her fist down on the alarm with s0o0o much force it broke again. `Damn …awww well I better get up if I'm late Naruku will be on my ass' .Kagome got out of bed grabbed her uniform and headed to the bathroom. Turing on the steaming hot water Kagome stepped into the shower and let the water pour over her body and relax her sour mussels. “I should be happy my birthday is today…I wonder what Kouga is going to get me….maybe he'll ask me???” Thinking back to yesterday when she was doing a little bit of spring cleaning going through Kouga's sock drawer she found a little blue box . Holding this small and delicate blue box in her hands that could change her life forever she couldn't decide whether she should open and see if her hunches were true. To see if it was really a beautiful diamond ring that she had been wishing for since they moved in together. `If Kouga does ask me to marry him what will I say??? Yes…we've been through a lot together…He's shown me the finer things in life the fancy dinners and the live shows all the pleasures that came with dating a pilot. But do I love him …' Kagome thought to herself. After 20 minutes of thinking about the box Kagome got out of the shower to prepared herself for a long day of work

“Thank you Thank you So00o0o0 much Sango for taking my shift!!!” Kagome said as she hugged her friend fiercely. Sango hugged her friend back and pulled away s0o0o she could look at her face.

“You just promised to call me and tell me what happens with Kouga”

Giggling Kagome said” you know it's hard to believe that it's all actually happening…I don't even no what I'm going to say if he actually does ask me to marry him…” she trailed off

“What do you mean???”

“Well I don't know how I feel about actually getting married in general”

Sango turned away for the microwave and put her total attention on her friend “Kagome, Do you love him???”

“Yes”

“So when the time comes your heart will take over and you'll know what to do”

“Ohhh that was s0o0o deep I'm touched with that sensitivity was that really you Sango” Miroku teased ask he walked in the room to get some water for the passengers on the plane.

“Shut-up!!!” Sango yelled getting all flustered in the face.

Laughing Miroku just said “Hey I just came back here to tell you that some of the passengers are complaining and they want to know what is taking their food so long”

With that last note the two ended their conversation and began to actually do their job.

Walking up the stairs all giddily Kagome began her normal retain of undressing herself as she got to her apartment. `Hope he isn't to surprised' She pulled her cap, vest, took off her pumps and just as she was at her front door she untucked her shirt. Unlocking the front she set her stuff on the kitchen table. Looking down on the floor she found Kouga's jacket. 'typical' she thought to herself picking up his belongings she followed the trail of clothing to their bedroom. Kagome came to find that the door was closed. `Weird' Just as she was about to open the door she heard moaning. The Door flung open. There was Kouga sitting on the bed pants on the floor with another girl bobbing up and down rhythmically giving him the same thing she did yesterday before she had to take a flight to New York.

“Kouga” Kagome whispered.

At hearing his name Kouga looked up and saw Kagome in the door way with clothes. “uh Kagome it's no what you think..” Kouga said he tried to pull up his pants.

Frozen in place Kagome let everything process in her mind. `Kouga cheated on me …and not even with a girl…A MAN' The man she had mistaken for woman just had really long hair. Kouga was making his way over to her.

“No don't touch me” She ran in the living grabbed her stuff and ran to her car ignoring the voice that kept calling her name. Tears streaming down her face as she got in her car she picked up her cell and called the only person she could deal with at this time.
