Kagome awoke the next morning in agony partly because Inuyasha didn't save and the other half was her physical pain. She pulled the dark red silk sheets closer to her body as she heard the door open. Kagome curled into a tight ball the moment someone had entered the room, she knew by the aura it was not him.

 

“Get up you insolent human!” It was Jaken the pain in the ass loud mouth toad that followed Sesshomaru around constantly doing his bidding. “I told you to get up Lord Sesshomaru does not want his sheets ruined anymore by you! Now if you don't get up I will activate you miko bonding necklace.”

 

When Jaken mentioned the miko bonding necklace Kagome slowly slipped out of the bed seeing for the first time the damage Sesshomaru had done, she had scratches from her neck to her thighs that had dried blood on them and her breasts had been bruised to the point they were black and blue and she had a bite make at the junction of her neck which she was sure would scar. Tears almost welled up in her eyes at the thought of what happened but Kagome inspection was cut short when she hear Jaken's irritated voice “Women what did I tell you, come! We must get you cleaned up before Lord Sesshomaru returns” At the mention of Sesshomaru's named Kagome winced but still managed to follow Jaken out into the tapestry filled hall until they can to two huge doors. “ Go inside and wash your self , you look filthy its sickening, I'll go get your clothes and by the time I come back you better be finished and don't try escaping cause the bonds will just send you right to Sesshomaru and I'm sure he can think of tons of way to torture a pathetic human like you! Jaken added the last part as if knowing what Kagome was thinking before walking away and leaving Kagome standing by the door.

 

She entered the room slowly until she felt the warm steam of the hot springs that was one huge swimming pool with a few rocks around he edge and in the center of the pool also it had a mini waterfall in the far left of the room. Sighing Kagome let go of the sheet she had wrapped around her body and slowly stepped into the water letting out a small cry of pain as the hot water touched her wounds before fully sinking in and allowing her body to rest against a rock.

 

`Why hasn't Inuyasha come? Doesn't he care? No he probaey is glad im gone that way he can go run off with Kikyo' Kagome thought as her mind wandered to the day she had caught Inuyasha with Kikyo again.

 

“Inuyasha…why won't you come to hell with me? Kikyo came closer so Inuyasha their faces almost touching as she asked the question.

 

“I told you Kikyo…I have to find all the jewel shards and become a full demon first, and then I will go to hell with you Inuyasha Said before closing the distance between them in a passionate kiss .

When they broke the kiss both of them were panting before Kikyo asked another question “But what about my reincarnation?”

 

“She's just a shard hunter nothing more…when I get the rest of the shards from Naraku I will take the shards from her and send her back to her own time”

 

Kagome's heart tore into little pieces as he said these words did she mean nothing to him? I thought we were friends, even though I would never have your love I was content with us just being friends. Why can't you understand that Inuyasha? Kagome left the pair not wanting to hear anymore as tears fell from her eyes.

 

“That's all I wanted to hear” Kikyo summoned her soul eaters laughing bitterly before disappearing in front of Inuyasha before could stop her. Inuyasha smelled Kagome's tears at that same moment Kikyo left before he cursed out loud at what he had just said.

 

Kagome sunk lower into the water as she pushed the memory away. “Inuyasha you baka! Why do you want to be a full demon if you're just going to die anyway! You're so stupid!” Kagome said to herself but deep down she wished his words weren't true and that he would come save her from this hell. At this thought Kagome was reminded of her current situation, how was she going to get free if Inuyasha didn't save her and even if she did as soon as she left the castle she would be transported back to Sesshomaru and she couldn't use her Miko powers. Kagome wanted to cry, all the pain of last night coming back to her bur being a strong person Kagome held them back `I will not let defeat me, he may have my body but he'll never have my heart and soul I will fight him and get free' Kagome said her strength returning to her at these thoughts. “I will get free Kagome said before washing all the physical dirt she could but the dirt beneath her skin was still there and even when she tried her hardest to wash it away the dirt still remained.

 

“Women are you done? I'm tired of waiting for you to get out of your stupid human thoughts and move faster.” Jaken was setting her clothes down on a rock with his back turned to her before he left the room shouting he would be back in 5 minuets and that she'd better be done by then.

 

Kagome got out of the water patting herself dry before she started dressing. Kagome wanted to fight or throw the clothes in the water but they were so beautiful and that wouldn't do anything but leave her naked. Slowly she put on the powder blue kimono that had a spring scene on it and at the bottom it had trees and animals in the sunshine. Kagome had never seen anything like it as she looked at herself in the mirror, a person would never know what hide beneath those robes was a scarred body. She quickly turned away from the image before walking slowly to the door to find Jaken waiting outside for her.

 

“Come on wench! Lord Sesshomaru has told me to bring you too his studies, so walk faster or Lord Sesshomaru will be angry Jaken said quickening his pace as much as his little legs could. Kagome would have clubbed him in the head for saying these things to her but she was hungry and was more worried about Sesshomaru. Finally they got to his study and Kagome was dreading more and more what was behind those doors but she didn't let it show on her face as the large doors open to reveal Sesshomaru sitting at his desk his mask of indifference on his face as always. Jaken bowed and Kagome just stared a emotion inside her she could not recognize building up. “Insolent Human you will bow before your Lord” Jaken said ready to strike Kagome with his staff but before he could Jaken was stopped by Sesshomaru's deep voice.

 

“Do not lay a hand on my mate”

 

a/n: Tee Hee I'm stopping there sorry people I just am really tired but I will have chap 5 out tomorrow cause I'm off school Yea! Spring break rocks! I need it so bad… collage is crazy nobody told me it would be this hard uhggg sorry there was no Inu gang in this chap but they'll be in the next one … hopefully woo Goodnight!
