A/N: I'm so sorry! I realized that i forgot the author's note for chapter 3, so it'll be here.

I love Inuyasha and shippo's relationship in the show n' all, but i kinda wondered what'd it be like if they had a very close relationship. besides, i think it's cute as hell!!!!! don't forget to review fare readers of wherever u live.

Shippo closed the door behind him and he crouched next to the girl's face.

"Go away!!" she screamed though her crying.

"Are you okay?" Shippo asked. Kagome stopped crying and lifted her head.

"You're not Sesshomaru." she choked. Her eyes were red and puffy and her face had tears all over it.

"Not since the last time I checked." Shippo answered. For the first time since she got kidnapped, Kagome giggled. She sat up and dried her face with her kimono sleeve.

"You're different from everyone here. Did you sneak aboard?" she asked. Shippo shook his head and plopped down next to her.

"Nope. Inuyasha is my big brother. Who are you?"

"My name is Kagome Hirugashi. What's yours?"

"I'm Shippo something. I don't have a last name. Inuyasha adopted me."

"That's very nice of him. Why'd you come here?"

"I got hungry."

"There's food in here?"

"Duh! You're in a kitchen." Shippo took Kagome's hand and led her to the silver fridge that lay wedged between two counters.

"It's all in there. My big brother's boss puts lots of good food in here." Shippo opened the refrigerator's door, and a small amount of cold air washed over Kagome. The fridge was packed with everything: meat, bread, water, cheese, fruits, vegetables, fish, and even 12 packs of coke and diet coke. Shippo reached in and grabbed the bread, cheese, meat, and some vegetables, and many others.

"What are you making?" Kagome asked.

"Since there's no Subway on this boat, I make my own. Sometimes, I put some really good stuff on it like peanut butter, and lemon juice." he answered. Kagome made a disgusted face.

"Ewww! Why would you put peanut butter on a sub sandwich?"

"Style, taste, and because it's fun to create new types of sandwiches." Shippo opened a cabinet filled with spices. He took two and closed it. Instead of sprinkling a little of each, he screwed of the cap and poured it on the sandwich. Kagome watched with interest, she giggled as he started putting numerous things on his sandwich. Feeling much better from her talk with Sesshomaru, she grabbed some bread and started making her creation. When Shippo was finished he took his, too big for his mouth, sandwich and poured coke on it. Kagome followed in pursuit.

"Well, now we eat them." Shippo and Kagome picked up their sandwiches and sat back on the floor.

"The first person to finish it wins." Shippo said quickly before stuffing the sandwich in his tiny mouth. Kagome threw away her lady-like ways and took a huge bite. She had never felt so rejuvenated! She had all kinds of food on her silk kimono, and she didn't care. Too busy thinking; she didn't notice that Shippo was halfway through. In her moment of reality, she didn't notice that when she bit into her sandwich, food squirted from the side and covered Shippo's face.

"That's cheating!" Shippo took a handful of his sandwich's fillings and threw them at Kagome's face. Kagome giggled and jumped up. She grabbed the tube of mustard and squirted it at Shippo. Shippo grabbed the ketchup and attacked back. Kagome ran behind the stove and crouched down. She then noticed the small bottle of water that had fallen off the counter. She took the bottle, twisted of the cap, and poured it on to her sandwich.

"Bombs away!" she threw her sandwich over her head, and all she could hear was a splat and a laugh. Kagome looked over the side of the stove and burst out laughing at Shippo's current position. His hair was covered in mustard, and his clothes looked like someone stuck him in a trashcan, shook him around, then let him out.

"I surrender." he laughed. Kagome threw her hands up in victory and jumped around.

"Yay! My first food fight victory!" Just then, the kitchen door opened and Inuyasha stepped in carrying clothes.

"Sorry I'm late Shippo. Sesshomaru needed me for a technical difficulty. Kagome's hands went down like rockets, her face became red, and she became dead quiet. She was a little embarrassed about her appearance. Her hair was loose, her hair clips were out of place, and she was covered in food.

"Well, I guess I missed the fight." Inuyasha scanned Kagome over and a small smile came to his face. He threw some clothes at her and she barely caught it.

"C'mon Shippo, she needs to change." Inuyasha picked up the food-covered boy and left the kitchen. Kagome's face went back to it's creamy color and she regained movement back in her body. She slowly took off her kimono, careful not to rip the silky fabric. Clad in nothing but her bra, panties, and socks; she made her way to the large sink. Carefully she climbed into the sink and took off her remaining garments. She turned on the water and cringed at the coldness against her naked body. Once she was able to get somewhat warm water, she started to get all the food off her body. Making sure nobody was watching, she took the soap that sat on the edge of the sink and began to wash herself thoroughly. Satisfied with her body, she climbed out of the sink. Then she took out her clips and put her head under the water. Using the soap again, she washed her hair. It wasn't until she had finished cleaning herself that she realized she didn't have a towel. She looked around her, looking for something that she could dry herself with. Luckily, she found the hand towel that was used for cleaning the counters. Softly rubbing it against her skin she dried her body until it regained it's natural softness again. Her hair was still damp from the "bath", but it was dry enough to give her her girlish glow. She took her clips and put them behind each ear so that it held back hair there. After she put back on her bra, panties, and socks, she inspected her new clothes. Kagome made a face at her clothes: grey baggy pants and a white tank top. She slipped on the baggy pants, and luckily they were only a bit too big, but they fit enough so that she could walk around in them. Next she put on her tank top. It went down to mid-thigh and showed off her breast size. The straps were big and there was barely any skin showing in the back, but in the front, the top part drooped so that people could see her cleavege. Kagome had to style it up. She took the bottom and tucked into the top so that it looked like a bikini top. (ex: like what Ray did in Scary Movie) She pulled down the pants a little bit so it looked like baggy hip-huggers. She looked in the large mirror that stood on the wall.

"Cute, tomboyish, but cute." she picked up her kimono and put it in the sink so that she could wash it later. I'm gonna go find Shippo. He's the only good perseon on this stupid ship. Kagome checked her reflection once more, then left.
