A/N: this is the chapter I've been dying to write. Enjoy the katfight!

The van pulled up to the boardwalk that led to the row of beach shacks that bordered the beach. Kikyo jumped from the car and slammed the door so hard the van rocked. The driver parked it and stayed, knowing what was going to happen when Kikyo got pissed off. Despite the tight red dress she was wearing, Kikyo walked quickly to the beach house with a look on her face that could kill a workhorse. The girls were still being lined up and a head check was in session. Kikyo ripped through the crowd of girls like a wild cat and stopped at the man that was doing the check.

"Where is Kagome Higurashi?" she said breathily. The man pointed behind him with his pen and stepped aside to let her through. Once inside, Kikyo scanned the room, checking every corner and girl until she set her eyes upon her prize. Kagome was talking to Kagura with her back to her. Perfect. Kikyo didn't bother being sneaky, but just ran forward and grabbed a handful of Kagome's hair and pulled back as if she were playing tug-o-war. Kagome let out a high-pitched scream, which alerted everybody in the room. There were many gasps and laughs at the picture of Kikyo grabbing Kagome's hair and Kagome struggling to get out. Kikyo didn't want all the attention, so she dragged Kagome out by her hair and once outside, pulled her close so that her mouth was next to her ear.

"Do you know why I'm going to beat the fuck out of you? I'll tell you princess, because somehow you've managed to corrupt Inuyasha, and now he isn't interested in me bitch." She growled at that last part and threw her harshly to the ground. Kagome's fire suddenly became an out-of-control forest meltdown and she felt the need for some ass kicking. Slowly she scooped sand into her hand, and just as Kikyo bent down to grab her, she threw the sand right into her face. Kikyo stumbled backwards shrieking about the burning grains of sand in her gorgeous eyes. Kagome took the opportunity to fling out a leg and tripped the blind Kikyo. She crawled over to her and straddled her waist. Immediately she began a barrage of slaps. She used both hands, she used backhands, she used one hand, either way she continued to slap and slap turning Kikyo's cheeks black and blue. Suddenly a ringed fist shot up and Kagome was blown onto her back. Kikyo got onto her knees laughing as she crawled to Kagome.

"Oh it's on now!" she screamed as she punched Kagome's stomach. With each punch Kagome coughed and wheezed. She had to do something fast or this bitch would win. Just as Kikyo was about to strike again Kagome grabbed her hair and yanked it so hard that she pulled out some chunks. Kikyo was so surprised that she grabbed Kagome's neck and held on. Kagome started to see blotches of white and for every blotch she pulled harder. Kikyo was starting to see red as a drop of blood appeared on her nose.

"You fuckin' whore!" she screamed. Kagome let go of her hair and attempted to pry the threatening hands off her neck. That was her first mistake. Kikyo immediately lifted one hand and delivered a hard blow to Kagome's face. Kagome let out a yelp of pain when the fist made contact. Her face felt like it was burning and her neck was already burning. Kikyo angry face suddenly brightened when her enemy didn't fight back and she stood up.

"Stay from my man bitch!" she brought her leg back, and then swung it forward. Kagome's mind suddenly acted and she grabbed Kikyo's foot and turned it. A loud crack was heard and Kikyo fell to the sand screaming and holding her foot in sheer pain. Kagome suddenly realized she broke her foot, which made her smile.

"My turn." She snapped as she went over to the now crying Kikyo. Kagome brought up a fist and let it fly. With that punch she put everything she ever had in it. It showed because Kikyo flew across the sand and stopped at the shore, right above the water's break line. Kagome made an effort to stand up and stumble over, holding her stomach. She definitely wasn't going to let this one get away with that and began to kick and kick her sides. Kikyo wheezed and coughed with every blow and every sharp pain that occurred in her body. Kagome soon got tired of kicking and decided to try something new, she stood back and held the arm that was facing Kikyo at a 45-degree angle. Placing herself carefully she jumped up and went down on her with her elbow hitting first. It felt so good to do that since she had seen it in many comedy movies. Kikyo was done and out. That last blow hit her stomach so hard that she coughed out a bit of blood before blacking out.

"Now who's the bitch!" she yelled at her fallen foe.

Kagome still wasn't satisfied so she bent down and began to push Kikyo out into the water, once she was out enough that the waves were carrying her, Kagome walked back up the beach, back into the beach house and continued her conversation with Kagura.

Inuyasha's head hurt like hell, and he rubbed it as he rode alongside his brother in the limo. His head only hurt when Kikyo was hurt and that worried him. Even though they had broken up, she was his soul mate and they had this amazing bond that was impossible to break. When she was hurt, he was hurt, when she was sad, he was sad, it was something he couldn't control. Now Kagome on the other hand was different. Maybe I could actually have somewhat of a relationship with her. I can't continue to stop my dating life until Kikyo comes back to me. I have to move on and forget that we ever dated. I can't though; I still love her too much. Inuyasha's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Sesshomaru's cell phone ringing. The tall man pressed the phone to his ear and began to talk.

"Hello?"

"Boss, we have a big problem."

"What?"

"That girl Kagome beat the shit out of Kikyo and left her floating in the sea. We just found her with a lot of bruises and a broken ankle."

"Why is this my concern?"

"Because she's demanding to talk to Inuyasha sir."

"Very well, give the phone to her." Sesshomaru handed the phone to Inuyasha who took it questioningly.

"Uh, hello?"

"Inuyasha what the fuck!?"

"Kikyo? Kikyo what's wrong?"

"I'll tell you what's wrong! Your new slut beat me black and blue and left me floating at sea that's what! And what's more is that she somehow thinks that you're her man! How could you date a slut!? What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

"Kagome? Beat you up? I can't believe she'd do something like that. You must've really pissed her off. Wait what did you do to her?"

"Excuse me? That's what you got out of all that? What I did to her? She fuckin' broke my ankle you dumbass and that's all you care about!? I thought you still loved me Yash, because I still love you." Kikyo's voice became soft and Inuyasha putty in her hands.

"Kagome, I'm coming to get you. Stay at the beach house." He snapped the phone shut and handed it back to his brother. Sesshomaru smiled at Inuyasha who was staring out the window with a dazed look in his eyes.

"She's got you all fucked up, head over heels in love doesn't she?" he commented. Inuyasha whipped his head around and glared.

"Kikyo is none of your business!" he snapped.

"No she isn't but Kagome is. If she was able to beat the fuck out of Kikyo, maybe she could work on the ship and be one of the crew rather than a temporary concubine."

"Sure, whatever."
"Great, I'll talk to her about it and put you in charge of helping her."

"You want us to fuck don't you?"

"Inuyasha, I may not have been the best brother for you, but I know you're struggling between two girls who look like your dream. One and old flame that's sophisticated and short-tempered and another a new girl that's beautiful, and sweet as candy. I'll admit that Kikyo will always reside in your heart as your true love, but Kagome is moving in and I can tell. Trust me when I say this: one man's trash is another man's treasure." He went back to his previous shuffling through papers mode and left Inuyasha in deep thought.

A/N: that katfight was the bomb! And I spell it katfight with a "k" because kagome and kikyo both start with "k"
