Chapter 30~Trouble Brews!

~~~Kagome found herself at Kyoto's penthouse looking through her closet. She sighed as she looked through all the wonderfully beautiful dresses and originals Kyoto owned.

"Tell me again why I am going to this party your aunt is throwing?" Kagome asked as she went through the huge walk in closet, still looking for something to the big event she was told about only yesterday.

"Cause Aunt Kaede asked you to come." came Kyoto's cheerful reply.

"But why? We met once?? Is anyone else who works for the company going as well?? Or am I an acception?? maybe your aunts way of pairing me up with Inu?" Kagome asked with wariness.

"Hell my aunt is always trying to set us up, but no Kagome your not the only one who works for the company going to be there..theres going to be a few of the V.I.P's there as well and Sess wants you there since you are his right hand man..er woman."

"I am?? since when?" Kaogme asked in surprise. She knew Sesshoumaru liked her work performance but she hadnt thought she was special in anyway.

"Of course, he says without you he couldnt get anything done in the office.." Kyoto replied with a small chuckle.

"Really?" Kagome asked in sort of an awwed tone, she wasnt used to praise.

"Of course, he wants you to meet some of the big wigs at the party, since of course they will be there...I think hes grooming you to be his permanant assistant." Kyoto replied with pride and affection. Kagome blushed.

"You think? I mean Im only a temp here and he hasnt said anything." she stammered.

"God havent you known my brother long enough to know he doesnt talk much let alone praise a person?" Kyoto laughed, then helped Kagome pick and outfit and get dressed.

~~~Soon they were both dressed and if truth be told they were like night and day, one with silver white hair and the other with ebony black hair, both beautifull and sexy as all get out. They went to the party in Kyoto's car and got there in no time. Kyoto was not one for slow when in her little sports car, Kagome was clutching so hard against the dash she was so sure her fingernails would break. When they got there the guy at the door checked them off on his little list and let them in. Before Kagome could say a word she was wisked away by Inu who was dressed in a black tux and looking mighty fine in it to boot. He didnt say a word before he pinned her to a wall in a dark hallway. Without a word he kissed her hard and rubbed his aching cock against her.

"Damn your so beautifull...what took you soo long?" he practically growled out.

"Didnt know you were waiting for me Inu." she teased, glad to know he still craved her as bad as she craved him.

"Then your not as smart as my brother has been telling everyone." he growled and nipped her neck before he let her go.

"We better go....Sess is waiting for you and as much as I hate it I have to share you tonight with him." he added. Kagome blushed but didnt say anything as he led her to the main room where guests filled the area in a sea of sequins and tuxes.

~~~When Sess Saw her he motioned her over and she bowed to Inu and walked over to Sess, her boss. He was pretty much surrounded by some high class men and women, some women that looked about ready to eat Sess up with a spoon she thought with a grin.

"Ladies and gentleman Id like you to meet my right hand, my permanant assistant and the one who runs my office so officiently, Higurashi Kagome." Sess introduced and Kagome stood there like she had been hit with a rock, she was shocked to say the least. As far as she knew she was still just a temp. Could this mean???

"How do you do, Glad to meet you Miss Hirugashi." came many voices and shakes of hands as well as a few bows. Kagome was still shell shocked and looked at her boss.

"Excuse us for a moment please." came Sess's strong voice as he grabbed Kagomes elbow lightly and pulled her aside.

"What ails you Kagome?" he asked in his stoic voice.

"Permanant assistant??? When did this happen?" Kagome asked without much thought.

"I would of thought you would be happy at the news...would you rather NOT be my permanant assistant?" Sess asked with a cocked eyebrow, but an ammussed tilt of his lip.

"Thats not what I meant, I mean..of course Im flattered and happy and overjoyed but I had no idea and then you just blurt it out..it took me off guard, is all." Kagome babbled and Sess actually grinned.

"Im glad your pleased...trust me Kagome..you have earned this all by yourself, you have proved yourself invaluable to me, you have made much progress in the short time you have been with me and I can not think of one reason I should look for any other to take your place when I am happy and content with the assistant I have now." Sess stated. And Kagome couldnt help but blush and beam at the same time. Again she wasnt used to praise but she was swelling with pride at the words and she knew she indeed deserved them because she had worked hard and did her best at all she did for Sess.

"Thank you Mr. Takahashi." she replied, unable to form anymore words and he grinned and knew better than to ask anymore questions. Just then a female who was drop dead gorgeous approached them and Kagome could of sworn she saw her boss sweat.

"Sesshy...so nice to see you here..you hardly go out anymore and its so hard to get in contact with you..how are you?" the beautifull red head greeted and if Kagome was not mistaken her boss acutually blushed a bit. Which made her smile. So her boss had a crush and it seemed like she liked him as much as well. Just then she was pulled to the side by another hand as the girl spoke with her boss.

~~~She was kissed hard on the lips in plain view of eveyone and at first she just melted, knowing Inu's lips anywhere, then she blushed beet red when she saw a few faces giggling and smiling at her after the kiss.

"Im proud of you Kagome." Inu stated, his reason for the kiss she supposed.

"Thanks Inu but could you please not do that in front of all these people?" she asked through gritted teeth, she felt soo embarrased.

"Do what? Kiss you?" he asked devishly as he did just that and kissed her hard on the lips again. She couldnt help it. She melted and participated in the kiss.

"Tonite princess...tonite." Inu whispered in her ear as he left her shaky and jello kneed as he actuallly walked away to greet guests. She wanted to hit him, slap him, slug him, but most of all? She wanted to rip his damn tux off and have her way with him. Thus dreaming she walked towards the ladies room, only to be yanked aside before she got there.

"What the???........" she spat then looked at the person who had grabbed her so roughly. Her eyes turned to saucers and she looked at the person with fear.

"Hojo?" she stammered and knew she was in for some major pain. His eyes burned into hers and he looked as if he wanted to throttle her.

"You fuckin slut." he hissed as he pulled her further into the darkness and shadows. Kagome couldnt help but follow like a helpless child. Part of her wanted to fight, to scream for help, to hit, but another part of her felt like the little girl she used to be, the girl Hojo was used to bossing and beating. She was scared and at the moment she was at his command.

A/N~Okies heres a chap, finally I know...lol...but sometimes muse just wont cooperate with me here since shes been awol for so long, anyhow hope this didnt dissapoint anyone and hope you enjoyed sorry its short and sorry its a cliffy but hopefully the next chap wont be too far behind k??? going threw some bad times here in the fam and Im doing my best so pray for me yall k??? much appreciate and much huggles and smiles Mija...oh btw...since I started this story and let it be known that some of it was based on my personal experiences...I have found that there are alot of others who have been threw simaliar things..so I wanted to post a link to a site I have made just for things like this, if you need or know someone who has been threw some truamatic experience give them the link, we can talk one on one or in chat with others who will help give advice and support, cause trust me sometimes even I need a shoulder to listen..and it dont have to be about rape, abuse and such but about any traumatic experience, Ive pretty much seen it all, right now Im dealing with a step father who cant get over the death, well murder actually of his daughter, and if it were my kid?
