lets gets some things straight…I do not hate Kagome…this is just what she needs to go through for my story. I actually don’t like Sesshomaru and Kagome as a pair at all, and yet I have it in my story. To me Rin is suppose to be Sesshomaru’s mate. Sorry to those who don’t like it.

The day was happy as the birds sang to their lovers from far away.

“Katsu! Don’t touch that its hot!” Sango scolded the 1-and-a-half-year-old.

“kay Sngo!” the small boy cried out, not able to pronounce ‘Sango’ just yet. He easily waddled over to her and planted a big kiss on her cheek. Sango smiled and noticed Inuyasha stiffen.

“Inuyasha?” Sango asked and walked to where he and Izayoi were standing.

“Sesshomaru. Call Kagome, he pissed. She needs to get him out of here as fast as she can.” Inuyasha quickly snatched Katsu from Sango and tugged Izayoi along with them.

“Where we goin’ papa?” Katsu asked innocently.

“To the big tree, hurry up Iza.” he said as he walked quickly to the tree where he was once pined.

Sesshomaru came into the clearing where all the huts were, Kagome was already outside with her bag. She was already stressed at the thought of Inuyasha having a child with Emiko. The child’s eyes where gold ,there was no possible way the child could not be a part of him. As Sesshomaru appeared she could almost see the waves of rage rolling off him.

“ Sesshomaru? What happened?” She asked almost franticly.

“Where is Rin?” he hissed.

“I don’t know! I thought she was with you!” she cried out.

“ She did not come here?” he growled.

“No, Sesshomaru calm down! What happened?!?” she asked as she put her hands on her chest trying to sooth his angry soul.

“ Where could she have gone? She knows no one but us…she was hurt, upset, but she didn’t need to leave me…” the slight change in his tone caused her to flinched. He sounded hurt, heart broken almost. Rin was causing this. The girl that was suppose to be “just” his ward…

“What happened Sesshomaru?” Kagome asked softly.

“ She ran away because I would not make her my mate. She left because of you.” he said just as softly as his eyes cooled down and his face became as cold as usual.

“Sesshomaru? Is everything alright?” Sango asked watching his face carefully.

“ I would like to ask for a favor.”

“Yes?” Sango asked.

“I would like you, your mate, your brother, my brother and the fox kit with his mate to look for Rin. She has gone…missing….the help will be repaid in anything you would wish.”

Sango’s body tensed. Rin couldn’t protect herself…the thought of killing something made the girl flinch. How was she supposed to survive in the wild?

“ You don’t even have to ask. We will do the best we can. Bye Kagome.” Sango said and sighed at the blank look in her eyes. Sesshomaru had said something that had hurt her.

“Bye Sango.” was all she said as Sesshomaru turned them into a small ball of light and where now out of sight.

And just moments after, the feeling of horror and panic hit her like a ton of bricks. Rin could be dieing. Being eaten alive.

“MIROKU!!!!! KOHAKU!!!!!! SHIPPO!!!! INUYASHA!!!“ Sango screamed as her voice hit a note of hysteria.

They had never found Rin. She was gone. “Poof!” just like that. Kagome had been filled in and Sesshomaru found out about Katsu. Neither said anything as they all gathered for Izayoi’s birthday party.

Now 19 and beautiful she looked about 14. Apparently Izayoi would not age either. She had long black hair with violet eyes that sparkled in the sun. she looked like her father…only with boobs. The only part of her mother that she got was the hair and the personality. She was the next generation of Demon slayers/priestess. She had a slightly strong spiritual powers but she preferred Demon slaying.

“Happy birthday Iza!” Katsu exclaimed. He was bonded to Inuyasha and now would age like a Hanyou.

“ Thank you Katsu…Inuyasha? Where’s my present?” she asked coyly as she tried to reach into his leather jacket.

“Keh. Who said I had one?”

“You don’t dress like that for nothing now gimmie!” she giggled as Inuyasha pulled her onto his lap. He reached into his jacket and took out a mirror. It was platinum and round with gold lilies on the side so you could hang it on the wall. It was small but Izayoi loved it.

“Thank you Inuyasha. I’ve been wanting my own mirror forever…”

“Keh.” was all he said and gave her a squeeze.

Then they all gave her their presents and finished eating. Katsu now 16 challenged Izayoi to a game of hide-and-go-seek. She smiled and agreed. Katsu looked only 8 and ran out side.

The was a knock on the door and Inuyasha stood to go answer it. He used an actual door instead of a mat liking the idea of more privacy.

“ Lord Inuyasha!! I need your help!” an old man called out.

“What? What’s wrong?” Inuyasha asked as he tried to steady the old man as he trembled.

“A demon is taking over a human village in the south. He is taking young women and sucking their souls out! He has my granddaughter! Please lord Inuyasha save her!” the old man began to cry and fell to the floor.

Inuyasha sighed. He had though the village was being attacked. Though he doubted that he would not sense it.

“Alright I’ll leave tonight. Where is it?”

“It’s in the south. Its very popular just ask for the Village Of The Cursed Forest. It takes about two days to get there. Please Lord Inuyasha save my little girl. Her name is Hana. Short, light brown hair, with one long strand that goes down to her waist. She has pale skin and large butterscotch eyes. She pouts all the time and she’s probably the only one cursing. Bring her back for me lord Inuyasha. I can’t lose her the same way I lost her mother. Please…”

“I’ll bring her back I promise.” was all Inuyasha said as he walked back in.

“Izayoi…I guess I have a part two to your present. We have a demon who’s taking young girls and sucking their souls out. You in?”

“Humm that sounds familiar…” Shippo teased.

“Hey Kikyo, wasn’t a demon! She was just angry all the time…”

“Adds up to be the same thing to me!” Shippo laughed.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, and brought his attention back to Izayoi, who was giving her best puppy eyes to Miroku after finishing her short game of hide-and-go-seek.

“No.” Miroku said not looking at her.

She huffed and went round and held his face and gave him the “Super Duper puppy eyes” he hesitated, and she knew she won. She smiled.

“Umm I said ‘no’?”

“Please daddy? It’s my birthday…or is it that you don’t trust Inuyasha to protect me?” she asked eye brow raised.

Miroku paled as Inuyasha growled.

“Ha Ha! She’s gotcha there!” Katsu said tossing more wood to the fire in the center of the room.

Miroku sighed “Have fun baby girl.”

“YES!!!!” she cried out and ran to get her weapon of choice in her own hut.

Inuyasha shook his head and smiled. She had him wrapped around her little finger.

“You are no help Inuyasha.” Miroku grumbled.

“She had a point. And she can kick more ass than Kohaku with her sickle. There’s no need to worry. You trust me don’t cha?” he asked as he shrugged his jacket off reviling a tight black shirt that said “ Caution Hot.” in white letters. He wore baggy jeans with holes here and there.

“HEY!” Kohaku objected as he fought over more food with Shippo.

Inuyasha rolled his eyes and smiled at Katsu who was pouting.

“What’s wrong?”

“You take Shippo and Izayoi to fight demons but you leave me behind! I can purify things better then Iza…I could help.” he said as his eyes began to water.

Inuyasha was about to pick him up and hold him but then he remembered who was there: Sesshomaru. So instead he made him stand and took him out side but spoke loud enough that everyone inside could hear him, that way they wouldn’t get hurt when he opened the door to come back in as they leaned against the door.

“Katsu…I can’t let you come. Shippo was surrounded by death all the time. Now its just life for him. I don’t want it to be that way for you. Shippo had no choice, he had to grow up fast. I had to grow up fast. I want you to stop that trend. You’ve heard of Rin, you’ve heard about how Sesshomaru kept her away from all that and that way she grew up the way she should have. She had a childhood and that’s why she…couldn’t stand being around death. She cried when I had brought back a dead rabbit that one time she stayed with us. She might be gone now, in some village, or in some other land, but she got the most normal life considering she grew up with demons. But I bet you she was happy to be able to have childhood, and she appreciated Sesshomaru for doing that. I want you to savor your childhood the way neither of us could. So just don’t ask anymore okay?”

Katsu brushed his tears away and hugged his adoptive father “Kay Papa.”

“Katsu? Are you okay” Iza asked as she neared.

“Yeah I’m fine. Bring me back a pretty girl okay!?!” he sniffled cheerfully.

“Hey I thought I was your pretty girl?” she glared resentfully at him.

“I’m keeping you away from Miroku.” Inuyasha said as he reentered the hut. They all ran back to their spots around the fire. Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

“Hey what did I do?!?” Miroku asked innocently, though knowing exactly what he was talking about.

Inuyasha just glared, as Izayoi and Katsu walked in.

“ You are! It’s that since you always leave with Papa I get lonely! I need someone to help me cope with you gone!”

She glared and smacked his head. He rubbed, his head and grinned.

“ Defiantly keeping you away from that leech.” Inuyasha mumbled.

“Hey I resent that…” Miroku said trying to defend himself.

Sango smacked him and said “You disserve it!”

Miroku rubbed his head and grinned, ‘Okay, maybe a little bit.’ he thought as he winked at Katsu, the small boy burst into giggles.

****************( Somewhere deep in the south)****************

“ What the hell is Iwao doing?!?!” a man hissed as he watched a fat pig suck the soul of another human girl from a black pool of slime.

“ I do believe he is becoming stronger.” a woman in black said from her seat on the floor.

“Who the hell was asking you?” he glared.

“ You. There’s no one else in the room you idiot.” she responded coolly. Obviously annoyed.

“I should kill you.” he hissed as he walked pass her.

“ Then why don’t you?” she growled.

Another man walked in. He was fat and smelt of rotten meat. He watched her with lust filled eyes, she sneered and looked away.

“Because love…the men love you so much…you can play with the little kitty Jun…” the man was about to walk out until the woman called out panicked; he smiled.

“Wait! Forgive me! I didn’t mean it! Come back…” she whined as she struggled to keep the fat thing off her.

“Jun get off. Come.” he said as he walked out.

The woman pushed him off and ran after the other man.

“ You will make that fat piece of shit hurry the fuck up. We don’t have time for him to be playing with humans.”

“ Yes master.” she sighed and followed him into his bed chambers.

The next day Inuyasha, Kohaku (having decided to come after the smart comment Inuyasha sent his way about his sickle abilities.), Shippo (he having fought with Soten about going) and Izayoi (happy to help) went to the village to save the young girls of the Village Of The Cursed Forest with Kirara carrying Kohaku and Izayoi.

“Why do you think that the Village is called ’The Village Of The Cursed Forest‘? Izayoi asked.

“ Maybe because the village is near an cursed forest?” Shippo answered as if it were obvious.

“ I know that! But why would you live next to a cursed forest?”

“Who knows?” Kohaku said.

“ Uncle? I have question for you…”

“Go ahead…” he asked suspicious.

Last time she said that she asked where babies came from. Though he found out that she already knew and just wanted to know what he was going to say. He had blushed and ran away.

“Who’s….Kagura?” Yup. He shouldn’t have said “Go ahead”.

“ Why?” he asked uncomfortable. He had a crush on Kagura, it had slowly become love over the three years they had spent together. He was crushed when she had died. But he was already heart broken, having found out that she loved Sesshomaru. Interesting that she did, because shortly after he had found out Kagome had proclaimed her love for him too.

“ I heard mom talk about her…she mentioned your name…and she said you were sad after she died. And that’s why you don’t have a girl friend…or something like that…” Izayoi played with her fingers as she spoke, having a feeling that her uncle Kohaku would not answer.

“ Does it really matter? She didn‘t love me back anyway…she loved him…” he said slightly bitter.

“Him? Who’s him?” Inuyasha asked having a feeling he knew who “Him” was, Inuyasha smiled bitterly.

“ You know who…” Kohaku said as he tightened his grip around his upset niece.

“ No I don’t” Inuyasha said.

“Sesshomaru.” he sighed.

Iza perked up “What your kidding right? What do they see in him? He’s hot, sexy, the most seductive voice in the world but the man has no personality!”

“I’m telling Kagome you said that.” Shippo said surprised as Izayoi’s smell became husky with arousal. But she seemed confused as well.

Kohaku smiled. “ I told Kagura that he had not personality too. She said it was because he didn’t want to show me his personality to me…that when he made love,” Kohaku rolled his eyes and smiled as Inuyasha raised an eye brow in his direction “ to her that he would show her everything she need to see…but when I found out about Kagome and him I realized that he was playing both of them. I found it amusing. I wanted to tell Kagome just to get my revenge. But that would have hurt Kagome. So I didn’t.” he shrugged.

“ How would that be revenge?” Iza asked.

“How?” Inuyasha asked and smiled and Shippo finished his thought “ it would be revenge because if Kagome found out she would have left him high and dry.” they all chuckled.

“You guys can really hold a grudge.” she grumbled.

They all busted out laughing even Kirara chuckled in her own hissed way.

************************************************************< br> (In the southern Castle)

Blue eyes snapped open.

“Something is wrong.”

“Wrong? How so?” another older woman asked.

“There is a great evil getting stronger. I need Sounga.” she responded and got up from the floor.

“Um, I don’t know where it is…” the older lady said.

“What?!?!”

“I lost it after Toga left me for that little human whore! I think he took it with him. He didn‘t really trust me alone with it, if you think about it…” she said getting off topic.

“I bet his human wouldn’t have lost it!”

“Hey! That’s mean!” she pouted.

“Luna! How could you have lost it? In the wrong hands disaster would have come about! We need it find it!” she said.

“ That’s lady Luna to you! And fine I’ll help if I really have to“

“Uh-uh! Your fucking my boy toy too! I have very right to call you Luna Tasho…Opps! I forgot he left you for a human!” she snarled at her.

“ Ouch! You’re such a meanie…what’s up your butt?” she laughed and ran past her.

“I’m still a virgin you whore!” she screamed as she chased the Lady of The West down.

‘Crap! How am I going to get out of this one? He already took Hana…its only a matter of time before he takes me too…’ Rin thought as she helped the wounded.

“You should leave Rin…he will kill you.”

“No. I’ve died before…it’s not that bad.” she smiled.

The young man with a broken arm hissed as she wrapped another band-aid around his arm.

“Leave Rin.” he said as he took her face in his hands and leaned in for a kiss.

‘CRAP! NO!’ she pushed him away and he sighed. He looked at the girl beside him. She had come to the village when he was 2 and she had never aged a bit. She said that she had pleased a demon inside the Cursed forest and had given her eternal youth and life.

She was so beautiful, he often wondered if that wasn’t also one of the perks the demon had given her. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes and sighed. She was wearing a simple summer kimono. It was white with large cherry blooms decorating the outside. She apparently had them when she came. Though she had grown while she was here the kimonos never out grew her…they seemed to grow with her. She said they where made out of demon silk. She had saved a baby silk worm from being eaten from a demon crow and the mother worm had given her a great amount of silk...or so she said.

Rin came up to his shoulders and was very kind to anyone she met. She had long brown hair that tumbled down to her hips. She had a tiny waist, her green sash making it look thinner than it really was. Her heart shaped face was always bright and happy her plump, red lips always in a smile. Her eyes were a hazel that leaned more into a blue then the normal hint of green. She was the woman of every mans dreams in the village. Most women didn’t complain about it because she never paid any attention to any of the men anyway, she also baby sat for a very cheap price making every woman’s life easier, it also help that everyone loved her.

She was a blessing from above. She did disappear for 2 months before coming back. She was very quiet when it came to family, and she shied away from anyone who proclaimed their love for her. She would always give them a kiss and tell them she was sorry, that she could not love them the way they wanted her to. Though many tried telling her again just to get another kiss. She would laugh and push them away.

“Maso Run.” was all Rin said as the floor began to shake.

Maso got up and held Rin’s hand and tried to run with her, but she snatched her hand away and stayed where she was.

“Run, Maso, Run. Run as fast as you can. I promise this will not be the last time you see me alive.” her eyes did not even try to hide their sadness as they usually did.

So Maso ran as fast as he could. Far, far away from Rin’s pain filled screams.
