InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Forgive Me ❯ Chapter 3

Miroku sat outside as Sango,Shippo,and Kagome cared for InuYasha.Almost 30 minutes had passed,InuYasha's fever was almost gone and he was resting now.

Miroku gasped.He had thought of a way to help Kagome.He would repay her with something.

Miroku walked into the hut.

“Kagome.Sango.I'll be away for a little while.I'll be back in a few hours.”

“oh!Okay,Miroku.”Kagome said.

Miroku walked off and ran out of the village.He would get a gift for InuYasha,Kagome,Shippo and Sango(Especially for InuYasha)to show them how sorry he was.Miroku traveled quite a ways until he came apon a small shop.They had sold food,toys(such as tops and balls),and weapons and spell books and spiritual items.

 

“I wonder what Miroku is up to?He seemed kind of suspicious if you ask me.'Shippo said.

“I'm sure he is just off for some fresh air or something like that.”Kagome said.

“What if he goes off womanizing again.”Sango said.

“You sent Kirara to follow him,did'nt you?Im sure he'll stay out of trouble.”Kagome said.

Sango nodded.

 

Miroku had a basket full of things for his friends.He was headed back when he passed 2 woman,about in there 20's.

“Oh.Are'nt you too lovely!”Miroku gasped.

The 2 woman snickered.

“I was wondering.Would you 2 ladies be willing to bare my child?”Miroku asked.

One of the ladies blushed and the other lady laughed.

Kirara growled,letting Miroku know that she was watching him.

Miroku gasped when he saw Kirara.

“Damnit!I guess Sango sent her to follow me.”Miroku thought.

“My apology but I must be going.”

The 2 woman walked off giggling.

“What a cute monk.”One of the woman said.

Miroku blushed and smiled.Then headed back towards the village.

About 30 minutes later Miroku had arrived back at the village.He placed the basket of items outside of the hut,then walked in.

“Oh,your back Miroku.”Shippo said.

Miroku nodded and sat down against the wall.

InuYasha began to moan.He was awake.He slowly opened his eyes and looked around.

“OH!INUYASHA!!”Miroku gasped.

Kagome and Sango rushed over,along with Shippo and Kirara.

“InuYasha!Im so glad your okay!!”Kagome cried.

InuYasha's fever was gone but he still had a small headache,other than that he was just fine.

“K-Kagome……..About what I said to you earlier------“

Kagome interrupted him,”It's okay InuYasha.I know you did'nt mean it.”Kagome said.

“It's not okay.What I said was cruel,and…….I deserved to be Sat.”

Kagome smiled.Then she hugged InuYasha.

“InuYasha…..”Kagome whispered.

InuYasha hesitated for a moment,then finally he returned the hug.

Sango and Miroku blushed a bit.

“Does that mean InuYasha apologized?”Shippo asked.

Sango nodded her head.

“Oh!InuYasha,are you well enough to move?”Miroku asked.

“I-I think so.”InuYasha said,slowly standing up.

InuYasha stretched.

“Good!Uh……Kagome,Could you come outside with me for a minute?”Miroku asked.

Kagome nodded her head.They both left the hut.

“What is it Miroku?”

“I felt pretty guilty,even though you said you forgave me.I—I went and picked up a few things for all of you.I was hoping that you would accept it.”

Kagome gasped.

“Oh,Wow Miroku.You did all of this-----just to say you were sorry?”

Miroku nodded.

“I would accept any gift from a friend.Im sure Sango and InuYasha would too.”

Miroku blushed and smiled.

Kagome walked back into the hut and told everyone about what Miroku had done.

Everyone came outside,except InuYasha.

Kagome came back in with something in her hands.She went over to InuYasha and sat down next to him.

Here,this is for you.Miroku got it.

“Oh,Miroku?That's a first.”InuYasha laughed.

InuYasha took the gift.He unrapped it and smiled.In his hands he held a box of ramen and a a small basket of assorted fruits.
