Forsaken Rapture

She was a hero to all;

A smile always on her face.

The enemy would always fall

By her weapon locked in place.

This responsibility she did not care for

And no one ever knew.

Until there was him, her enemy before,

And through a common thread, their love grew.

To them, she was just there to protect,

But to him, she was his light.

Her duty she chose to reject

When in his arms, he held her tight.

To be happy with each other

Seemed too good to be true

For evil tore them apart

But again would their love grow anew.
