Hi, I'm back! See I said I would update on Monday and I did. Can you believe it??? (group of people look with their mouths open) What?! I don't break promises. Oh well, ON WITH THE STORY!!

Chapter 2: Waking Up and Personally Meeting Sesshoumaru
The soothing wind swept through the tall grass as the rising sun peaked over the horizan. Signaling to every creature that it was time awake and start a new day.

The warm sunlight came through the window to land on the slumbering girl. Possibly dreaming a pleasant scene. It was not to last long though for she was about to plummet from the depts of sleep and swim back to the waters of reality.
' I feel so warm and comfortable in this bed. Wait, bed? Maybe I just dreamed of being kidnapped and I'm just sleeping in my bed now.' Kagome's diamond blue eyes slowly started to open and she sleepily looked around the elegant bedroom. When she realized that she was definitely not in her bedroom, she sat up as quick as lighting and started looking around with with astonished eyes. The walls were red with white trimming and golden flower designs. There were white French doors that were to her left that led out to a balcony. Next, there was a desk with a quill pen and some paper. Then finally, there was a cherry wood vanity with carvings of flowers of all kinds. Then she looked down at her comforter and noticed that her covers were made out of a fine silk in the same red color as the red walls with the same golden designs full of blossoms, buttercups, roses, and flowers that she had never even seen before.
She wondered if she was having one of those dreams where you think you have woken up, but you really haven't, Kagome pinched herself to make sure. 'Ow! No, I'm not dreaming so where am I?'
Then she heard someone turn the brass nob of the door theat was by the vanity to reveal a tall white clad figure that was none other than Sesshoumaru.
Kagome could barely breath as she was staring at quiet lord with confused and questioning eyes while he stared right back with emotionless golden ones.
Finally, Sesshoumaru broke the awkward silence by saying, "I see that you have finally woken up, miko."
"Um, yeah. Sesshoumaru, where am I and why am I here?"
"You are in my home miko and I don't have to explain myself to a human like you."
Kagome scowled at him as she said angrily, "Well, you don't have to be such a jerk about it! "
In a minute she was slammed to the headboard of the bed, being held there by Sesshoumaru's hand. "You need to learn to give some respect, human."
Kagome fervently returned, "I only give respect to people who I think deserve it and frankly your not the top on of my list to respect."
Sesshoumaru growled menacingly as he tightened his grip. Just about when Kagome was about to choke he stopped.
In fact as she sat up, he was nowhere to be found. 'Okay, why am I not dead now. There's no way he is showing mercy. I'm not sure if he knows the word. And I know he cares nothing for me.'
Kagome sighed and put her head into her hands as she whispered to herself, "I'm so confused."

Sesshoumaru was in the sanctuary of his bedroom now and contemplating on what just happened. He couldn't understand why he didn't kill her. She was just a human, not worth even a second glance.
'You know thats not true. She is a miko and a force to be reckoned with.'
Sesshoumaru sat on his bed and shook his head. 'No, she might be a miko but she is still a filthy human like all the others.'
Even though he knew that couldn't be completely true for he knew of Rin and she did not act like the others of her kind. Also, he knew he didn't have no interest in the girl because he has been secretly facinated with the woman ever since he first met her and heard the defiant words that came from her mouth. He never met a person like her. Everyone he has met, youkai or ningen, have looked at him with great fear, all except she. To add to that she was a complete puzzle. She was the one person he has never been able to figure out. All it did was infuriate him and yet also make him so curious.
Sesshoumaru finally decided that he was going to keep the girl here and learn more about her so that he could demolish this foolish curiosity.
