Kagome stopped her studying for the tenth time since Inuyasha has been in her room this evening. She grit her teeth and took a calming breath in before responding.

"Yes, Inuyasha? What is it now?"

Kagome dropped her pencil onto her desk and spun around in her chair to stare wide-eyed at the ignorant hanyou. Inuyasha shrugged his shoulders and scratched his head in thought. "I overheard one of your weird friends talk 'bout it. So, what is it?"

Kagome spun her chair back around to face her desk again and put her face in her hands. "It doesn't matter, Inuyasha. Just.. pretend you never heard that, okay?" She could hear him get off the bed and come closer, causing her heart to speed up. 'Get it together, girl! It's not like he's asking you to be friends with benefits!' Her heart rate sped up to dangerous levels after that thought. 'Great. Now I'm thinking about that.'

Inuyasha leaned over Kagome's shoulder and discreetly sniffed. Now his confusion skyrocketed. She smelled of embarrassment, nervousness, and arousal.

'What the hell?' He spun her chair around to be face to face with the weird human girl. He crouches down so his golden eyes are eye level with her brown ones. "What the hell is it!? You're being weirder then normal."

Kagome's eyes widened, "It's uh..." Her face turns even more red and she closes her eyes and shakes her head. "Wh-why does it matter?"

"Because you're acting strange! You and I are friends, so what does it mean to be friends with benefits!?"

Kagome's anger rises and she welcomes it. If she is angry, she is less embarrassed. She looks him right in the eyes and yells back, "it's two friends who have sex for fun and no commitments! There, happy!?"

Now it is Inuyasha's turn to rival that of a tomato. "Uh.. What?"

Kagome stood up from her chair, shoved him out of the way, and started pacing around her room, avoiding looking at his face. "Two people who are friends, have sex and do whatever they want together but they aren't boyfriend and girlfriend or whatever the hell you call it in the Feudal Era." Kagome stopped pacing to look at his dumbfounded expression.

Inuyasha doesn't know how to respond. All he can think about now is kissing Kagome, licking Kagome.. fucking Kagome. He shook his head free of those thoughts. 'She doesn't love me.' Than he fully comprehended what she said. 'Just for fun? Maybe...' He decided he needs to know for sure if she is at least physically attracted to him. Than he will ask her to be friends with benefits. If he can't have her as a mate, he would take what they both would want.

"Inuyasha?"

He shook his head of his wandering thoughts and looked into her eyes. "Uh.. I get it. Let's just uh.. get goin'."

Kagome nodded her head and sighed in relief that this awkward conversation is over. She completely forgot about finishing up with her studying after having to explain friends with benefits to her hanyou best friend of 500 years past. She packed up her big yellow bag with all of the essentials and than when they were ready, they jumped into the bone-eaters well.

The next day, the Inutachi were in the middle of setting up camp for the evening. Inuyasha was deep in thought about Kagome. Ever since the day before when he learned of this 'friends with benefits' thing, he couldn't stop thinking about her. Before, he thought that it was impossible, since there was no way she could be committed to a hanyou such as himself. But now that he knows of this weird future custom, than maybe he could at least get a taste of what he's been craving for a little over a year now.

She stepped closer to him and pulled his claws from his hands to inspect the damage.

"What's wrong with you? You were growling like a maniac and you hurt yourself."

Inuyasha looked around at his friends who were all just staring at him with confused looks. When he growled in their direction, they all turned away to continue setting up camp. He allowed Kagome to drag him over and sit on a nearby rock as she got out her future medical supplies.

"Feh. I don't need that stupid stuff."

Kagome ignored him as she sat down next to him and pulled his left hand into hers to start wiping away the blood with a disinfectant wipe.

"What were you thinking about to make you do this?"

Inuyasha blushed slightly but decided it was the perfect time to put his plan into action. After she finished wrapping his left hand up, he responded.

"Feh, it's just too hot out today." Which wasn't a lie. It was very hot for it only being mid May if they go by Kagome's calander. He stood up to take his Suikan off but Kagome stopped him.

"Inuyasha, I gotta wrap your other hand."

He was nervous, wondering if she would have any reaction at all as his Suikan dropped to the ground. Than faster than Kagome could blink, his Hadagi was laying on the ground also. Inuyasha pretended not to notice her change as he sat back down and shoved his right hand towards her. When she made no move to get on with the cleaning, he quirked an eye at her.

"Kagome? You wanted to fix these non existent wounds, so get on with it."

Kagome snapped her face back to look into his eyes. Her entire body turned brighter than ever before as she took his hand with her shaking ones and started to clean the already healing wounds.

All she thought about as his Hadagi fell to the ground was how magnificent he is. Sure, she has seen his naked chest before, but usually it was due to him being injured and needing to be bandaged. Miroku quirked an eyebrow at the hanyou before speaking up. "What are you up to, my friend?"

"Yeah, Inuyasha! I don't like the look you have right now!" Shippo yelled as he jumped onto the hanyou's shoulder.

Inuyasha's smirk turned into a scowl as he picked Shippo up by the tail and dropped him onto the ground. He growled lightly at his friends. "Feh, nothin'. Why are ya both in my business anyway?"

Miroku stared Inuyasha down for a moment and then gave him his trademark lecherous grin, causing Inuyasha to gulp.

"Well well well. I think our hanyou is growing up."

Shippo cocked his head to the side, "what do you mean, Miroku?"

Inuyasha growled, "Shut up monk. You know nothin'."

Miroku shook his head in amusement, "Whatever you say, Inuyasha. Just remember, that Kagome cares for you." His face turned more serious as he spoke his next statement. "So don't hurt her. If you are really trying to gain her attention than you mustn't run off to Kikyo when her Shinidamachu come by."

Inuyasha's growl turned into a threatening snarl, causing Shippo to cower in fear and run and hide inside Kagome's sleeping bag.

"Shut up, monk. What does that say about you, huh? You grab any woman's ass that you can reach!"

Miroku put his hand to Inuyasha's bare shoulder, "just heed my warning, my friend." Than he continued stoking the fire as if nothing was said.

Inuyasha thought hard the rest of the night. Was Miroku right? Should he ignore Kikyo from now on? But Kagome said this wasn't about love or feelings, it was just sex. "Feh, whatever." He looked around for a moment and than pointed in the opposite direction that Kagome went. "Make camp there. I'll go hunting." Before they could even acknowledge that they heard him, Inuyasha ran off.

She glowered at the wolf. "We were just supposed to be gaining pleasure from the other and nothing more." She looked back into Inuyasha's eyes. "And now I'm pregnant. Why did I agree to this?" She turned around and stomped over to Sango. "Can I borrow Kirara?"

"Uh, sure Kagome."

As Kagome was mounting Kirara, Inuyasha rushed forward and pulled her off and into his arms.

"Get the hell away from me! I don't want to be near you right now!"

"Kagome, please. We can talk about this."

She pulled back to look into his sad eyes. "What is there to talk about? My entire future is changed because we made a stupid mistake."

Inuyasha growled and dropped Kagome out of his arms, she fell backwards onto her butt. "Mistake!? You seemed pretty fucking happy the past couple months! How could you say being with me was a mistake!? How could you say that our pup is a mistake!? Am I so fucking horrible, that having my pup will ruin your future!?"

Koga moved forward to help Kagome off the ground and she sobbed into his chest. Inuyasha growled dangerously at the scene and flexed his claws.

"Get. Away. From. Her." His eyes flashed from gold to red and back again.

"Shut up, mutt! Can't you see you've done enough!? She needs someone who loves her!"

"I DO LOVE HER!"

Kagome stopped sobbing immediately and moved her face away from Koga's chest to look into Inuyasha's eyes, which were still flashing back and forth between hanyou and demon.

"Wh-what?"

"Don't listen to him, Kagome. If you come with me and be my mate, I'll even help you raise that pup. I love you, please."

Kagome ignored Koga and continued to look at Inuyasha. Inuyasha stepped closer to her and looked down at the ground while flexing his claws to the point where his palms were bleeding.

"I fucking love you. I have for over a year and I never stopped."

Inuyasha's ears pinned to his head, waiting for the rejection that never came. When he looked back up he saw Kagome on the verge of tears again, but her scent showed happiness instead of sadness. He cocked his head to the side and nearly fell backwards when Kagome pulled away from Koga and jumped into his arms. She sobbed into his chest and held on for dear life.

"Please, Inuyasha. Don't lie to me. Is what you said true?"

Inuyasha wrapped hia arms around Kagome's back and kissed the top of her head. "Yes. Fuck. I'm so fucking sorry. I wanted to be with you so fucking bad but I knew the only way I could was to be that stupid 'friends with benefits' thing with you. My demon side was yelling at me to complete the mating bond. My human side was going crazy not being able to love you fully. Please don't leave me, Kagome. We can get through this together. I just can't lose you."

Kagome looked up into his sincere gaze, "Baka. I love you so much." She kissed him slowly but pulled away and blushed. "Sorry, I just threw up."

Inuyasha laughed and hugged her tighter. "I don't care. You're perfect no matter what."

Everyone watched the scene unfold with various emotions. The main emotion each one of them showed was complete surprise. Mainly at Inuyasha's public display of affection.

Koga growled and turned red with anger. "Are you seriously going to choose a half-breed who used you for your body over a full demon who loves you!?"

Kagome pulled back and kissed Inuyasha on the cheek before turning around and facing Koga.

"I've been in love with Inuyasha pretty much the entire time I've known him. I'm sorry Koga.. And, I kind of did the same thing. I took what I could get because I thought I couldn't have the whole thing. I told you before that you and I are friends, nothing more."

Koga slumped his head and shoulders in defeat. "If that is your choice, I will not get in the way." He looked back into Kagome's brown orbs, "but if you ever change your mind, I will always accept your love."

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome from behind and growled at the ookami. "Beat it, wolf."

Koga gave Kagome a sad smile before waving and speeding off. "See ya, Kagome."

Kagome moved away from Inuyasha's embrace and walked over to her yellow bag. She pulled out a bottle of mouth wash and rinsed out her mouth a few times before putting it back and walking back to Inuyasha. She put her hands around his neck and smiled.

"You really love me?"

Inuyasha nuzzled Kagome's neck, "more than anything else in the world."

"So, you.. actually would want to complete the mating bond?"

He looked into her eyes, it was as if they were the only two in the universe. "You would want to be the mate of a hanyou?"

Kagome hit his shoulder playfully, "of course, baka!"

Inuyasha gulped, "Y-you would want to share my lifespan?"

Kagome's eyes bugged out of her face, "I can do that!?"

He smiled when he scented extreme happiness. "That is the main side effect of the mating. You would gain my lifespan and live with me for hundreds of years. You would also gain the ability to heal faster since my blood would be flowing through you. You would get a better sense of smell, eye sight and hearing. Not as good as mine, but better then a normal human. You wouldn't have my speed or agility though, so you would be just as clumsy as usual." He smirked when her smile quickly turned into an annoyed frown.

"Hey! I'm not that clumsy!"

Inuyasha chuckled, "sure your not." He nuzzled her neck again. "So, is that something you would want?"

Kagome pulled him back by the hair and then smashed her lips to his. He pulled her body closer to his and deepened the kiss even further. When she moaned lightly, she pulled back and put her forehead against his.

"Of course I want to. I love you, you baka."

"I love you too, clumsy wench."

They pulled away abruptly at the sound of Miroku caughing awkwardly. They turned to see a blushing Sango and Shippo, and smirking Miroku.

Miroku was the one to break the awkward silence. "Well. Now that that is settled. Why don't we relax the rest of the day and then head back to Kaede's tomorrow. Lady Kagome, you need to get checked out to make sure the pregnancy is healthy, and we all need to regroup about the search for shards and Naraku."

They all agreed to those terms, especially Inuyasha and Kagome who needed to talk more about their future.

It took the Inutachi a few days to make it back to Kaede's village. Kagome has been throwing up at least three times a day, and her appetite has been almost non-existent. Inuyasha has been having to force her to eat something but then she would just throw it up a few hours later. They haven't completed the mating ritual yet, wanting Kagome to be completely comfortable first. But they had run into Myoga on the way back to the village, and he advised that they do it as quickly as possible, because it will make the pregnancy much easier since Kagome is a human carrying a part demon offspring.

They all walked into Kaede's hut and Inuyasha immediately helped Kagome sit down.

"Kagome, child. Are ye alright?"

Inuyasha answered for her, "Do you have herbs for throwing up a lot?"

"Aye. What ales ye."

"I'm pregnant."

"I.. see.." Kaede looks between the younger miko and the hanyou and then continues, "ye have not completed the bond. Is this still not done with love?"

Inuyasha growled, "can you help Kagome or not, old woman!?"

Kagome glared at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha!" She looked back apologetically at the older miko. "We are going to complete the ritual but I have not been feeling the greatest for about a week now."

"Aye. I will get ye some herbs and then I would like to examine ye myself."

Kaede left the hut and returned a few minutes later with the appropriate herbs. She started to mix them into a mortar and pestle. She mixed it with hot water and some other ingredients. When she was finished with the drink, she handed it to Kagome.

"Drink all of this and ye will feel better soon."

"Thank you, Kaede."

Everyone sat in silence for the next five minutes as Kagome slowly finished the medicine. When she was done, Kaede shoo'd everyone out of the hut, including a grumbling hanyou, and then started her exam.

When she was finished, she allowed everyone back into the hut and by the time they returned, Kagome was already feeling much better. Inuyasha immediately went to where Kagome was sitting and put his arm around her.

"Are you okay?"

Kagome nodded and rested her head on Inuyasha's shoulder. "Much better."

Kaede spoke up, "ye are very healthy, Kagome. I would guess ye have been with child for about a month. I would advise ye go to yer time and get some future medicine. I am positive ye can get better care there."

Kagome blanched. "Oh Gods. What am I gonna tell mama!?"

Inuyasha turned crimson and everyone stayed silent for a moment. It was Sango who spoke up.

"I'm sure it will be fine, Kagome. You told me that your mother and brother absolutely love Inuyasha."

"Yes, but I am still young in my time to have a baby."

"Pup." Inuyasha corrected.

Kagome grit her teeth. "Really? Is now the time to argue about terminology?"

"Keh."

Kagome took a deep breath in and let it out slowly. "I'm sorry. I'm just a little stressed right now. I guess we should go and tell my family." She stood up and grabbed Inuyasha's hand. Inuyasha freaked out for a moment.

"Wait. You want me to go with you!?"

Kagome glowered at him. "Are you serious? You." She pointed at him. "Put a baby in me!" She ponted at her stomach. "Of course you are coming to talk to my family!"

Inuyasha grumbled out a "Pup." Causing Kagome to yell, "SIT!" for the first time in two months.

She huffed and stomped out of the hut to head towards the well. Inuyasha grumbled a bunch of random curse words as he peeled himself up off the floor.

Miroku snickered, "You may want to be careful, my friend. She will be getting more moody the further along she gets in this pregnancy."

"Baka." Shippo shook his head at the grumbly hanyou as Inuyasha left the hut to follow his soon-to-be mate.

The group if misfits, including Kaede, snickered to themselves after Inuyasha left.

When Inuyasha caught up to Kagome, he spun her around but she refused to look at him.

"Look at me, Kagome!"

She crossed her arms and looked away with a, "hmf!"

Inuyasha growled and grabbed her face with both hands to force her eyes on his. "What is your problem, woman!?" He immediately scented the salt of her tears and groaned. "No, don't cry. Please. What the fuck do you want me to do!?"

Tears running down her face now, she yells back. "I want you to be there for me! You got me pregnant. You should share half of the responsibility! Is that really too much to ask?"

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Kagome and rested his chin on top of her head. "No."

"Huh?"

"It's not too much to ask. I'm just.. This is new to me and.. I'm scared, alright?"

She pulled back to look into his eyes. "Scared?"

"Yeah. I went my whole life, never expecting to actually find someone who loves me. Not expecting to have a mate or a pup. Now I'm expected to talk to the family of the woman I love and tell them that not only will she be my mate and gain my lifespan, but she will also bare the child of a hanyou. I'm scared they will reject me just like I was scared you would reject me." His ears drooped by the time he finished his explanation.

"Kikyo loved you.." Kagome looked away, feeling bad for bringing it up, but needing to get it off her chest.

Inuyasha turned her face by the chin to make eye contact once again. "Kikyo wanted me to become human for her. She wanted me to marry her as a human and live her lifespan. Which yes, at the time I wanted to. But that was because I was lonely and finally someone seemed to care for me since my mother died. But she did not love me for me. She didn't love me the way you do. And I did not love her the way I love you. You mean more to me than she ever had."

Kagome immediately kissed him, tears flowing down her face and she gasped when she felt wetness from his. She pulled back and wiped his tear away with her thumb.

"Thank you. I love you so much, Inuyasha."

"I love you too. I can't promise not to make mistakes, but I do promise to try my hardest. Forever."

"Me too. Always." She kissed him once again and then they took a moment to compose themselves before walking the rest of the way to the well and jumping in, hand in hand.

When they made it to the other side of the time slip, Inuyasha sniffed the air by the well house doors.

"They all seem to be in the kitchen."

Kagome took a calming breath in and out. "Okay. They are probably having dinner. I guess it's now or never."

She grabbed his hand as they walked towards the front door. When she was about to open the door, he stopped her.

"Are you sure you need me?" His ears pinned down at the look she gave him. "Keh."

They walked in and Kagome yelled, "mama, I'm home!"

Her mother immediately walked from the kitchen to greet them. "Kagome, dear. Are you hungry? And Inuyasha, it's so nice to see you." She noticed the nervous looks on their faces and looked down at their interlaced hands. "Is there something you need to speak to me about, Kagome?"

"Umm. Yes." She pulled the anxious hanyou by the hand to lead him into the kitchen. She had him sit down and then she sat next to him with her mother across from them, her grandfather at the head of the table and her little brother next to Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha! It feels like I haven't seen you in forever!" Souta excitedly yelled.

"Keh."

Kagome responds. "Well, you'll probably see him a lot more from now on." She nervously giggles.

Mrs. Higurashi raised an eyebrow at that. "Oh? And why is that, dear?"

All eyes and ears were focused on Kagome and Inuyasha. Inuyasha's right leg started to shake nervously and Kagome turned a bright pink.

"I.. uh.." She looked at Inuyasha and then back at her mother. "We.." She gulps, closes her eyes and counts to ten and then opens her eyes, much calmer then before. She squeezes Inuyasha's hand for support before blurting it out. "I'm pregnant."

Everything happened at once.

Gramps yelled, "What!?"

Souta yelled, "Cool!"

And her mother stayed completely silent and unreadable, which worried Kagome the most. She looked at her angry grandfather, then at her excited little brother, then ended on her completely stoic mother. She gulped.

"Mama?"

Mrs. Higurashi ignored her daughter to speak to the rest of the family. "Father, would you take Souta outside to help you with some of your evening chores?"

The elderly man was about to argue but one stern look from Mrs. Higurashi stilled his tongue and he led Souta out of the kitchen and to the backyard.

Kagome and Inuyasha held each others hands for dear life and didn't utter a single word as her mother stood up and silently made some tea.

After a few silent moments, Mrs. Higurashi sat a mug of hot tea in front of her teenage daughter and one in front of her hanyou lover. She sat down in front of them with her own mug, took a sip and then looked between the two of them. Finally, her eyes landed on Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha dear. What are your intentions for my daughter?"

"In-Intentions?"

She nodded her head, "yes. What are your plans for the future?"

Inuyasha held onto Kagome's hand under the table even tighter and gulped. "I.. We.. I asked her to be my mate."

Kagome's mother took another sip of her tea. "And I am assuming that that is a demon custom, yes?"

"Y-yes. It is similar to human marriage, b-but much more serious."

"As a human from 500 years in your future, I am not aware of these customs. Would you care to explain it to me?" Her expressions were still unreadable, even to Inuyasha's nose, which are making the couple even more nervous.

"Uh.. Y-yeah.. Um.. I-if we were to complete the mate bond, then she would gain my lifespan. N-not only that, but all of her senses would be stronger and she would heal faster too. She would still be considered a human, with the same speed and agility as a human, but with the lifespan and senses of a hanyou. Th-the reason it is stronger than human marriage is.. th-there is no such thing as divorce. Once we mate, it is p-permanent. The only thing that can separate us, is death. But once the other mate dies as well, our souls will find each other in the afterlife."

When he finished his explanation, the three of them sat in silence. Mrs. Higurashi looked at her daughter after a moment to speak directly to her.

"Is this what you want, Kagome?"

Kagome responded with absolutely zero hesitation. "Yes, mama."

"This is a huge decision. You are sixteen. You are still in highschool. Where will you live? How will you both provide for yourselves? What is your plan for the future? You must decide on the best path for yourselves." She looked between the two of them and continued. "You are going to have a baby, Kagome. This is a big deal." Kagome elbowed Inuyasha discreetly to prevent him from correcting the word 'baby' again. "Yes, you are at the age of concent in this time, as I'm sure the age is even much younger in Inuyasha's time.. But you are still two years shy of being considered an adult here. So, would you care to explain how you are going to live your future?"

"I... We didn't plan this.. I'm sorry mama. But I do love Inuyasha, and he loves me. My plan is to become his mate and eventually live in the past with him and our pup." Inuyasha couldn't help the content growl the escaped at her use of the word 'pup.' "I will finish this year of school, there are only a couple of months left, but then I want to get my GED and focus on my life in the Sengoku Jidai. We already spoke to our friends the past couple of days, and we are going to try to make an alliance with a wolf demon named Koga and Inuyasha's older brother Sesshomuru, in order to defeaf Naraku and collect the jewel shards as soon as possible." Inuyasha growled lightly at the mention of Koga and Sesshomuru. "Then we will get rid of the jewel and..." She took a deep breath to steel herself. "If the well closes, I will be living with Inuyasha in the past. I'm sorry mama but I will not have him live here where he and our child will have to hide from all of society." She reached across the table to hold her mothers hand. "But, I will have Inuyasha's lifespan. I plan to live the next 500 years to see you again. For you, it will be as if we went through the well and came back like normal.. That is my plan mama. I promise I thought hard about this. I may have only just found out a few days ago about the ba-pup, but as soon as the shock wore off, we made a plan."

By this point, tears were flowing down both women's faces. Mrs. Higurashi was squeezing Kagome's hand and smiling.

"Oh, Kagome. You have grown up so fast." She stood up and walked around the table. Kagome stood up also and immediately hugged her mother. "I love you. Never forget how proud I am of you. You took a new and scary situation and you thought it over like an adult." She pulled back and bent over to hug the still seated hanyou. Inuyasha blushed but hugged her back. "You better take care of my daughter. She loves you."

When she pulled away from Inuyasha, he blushed. "I.. I love her too."

The next day, Kagome and Inuyasha went downstairs for breakfast. This was the first day in a week and a half that Kagome didn't wake up nauseous. She happily sat at the table and ate her eggs and bacon. She even ate a second plate. Mrs. Higurashi chuckled as she sat across from the couple.

"I spoke to Gramps for you, Kagome."

Kagome looked up and gulped. "Is he mad?"

"He's not super happy. But it's not because of what you think." At Kagome's questionable look, she continued. "He is going to miss his granddaughter and great grandchild. But he is happy for you, as am I. Your brother is over the moon at becoming an uncle. He went to school already, but he did say that in 500 of your years he is going to be the best uncle ever."

Kagome giggled and Inuyasha let out the breath he didn't realize he was holding.

Mrs. Higurashi handed Kagome an envelope. "This is for you both. Think of it as like a wedding present, even if you don't have a human ceremony."

Kagome opened it up and gasped. "What is this for? It's too much, especially since we will be living in the past."

"It is for a weekend getaway at a hotel of your choice. I know you probably don't have much privacy in the past, and you probably want to complete the mating bond." Kagome and Inuyasha both blushed. "I will book the room under my name and drive you both there on Friday, since you have to be accompanied by an adult, but once you have your key, I will leave and pick you both up on Sunday."

"Wow, Mama. Th-thank you."

"I love you, Kagome. You are going to be a mother, I have to allow you to be an adult now." She smiled sadly at her little girl.

"I love you too, mama."

Friday came around quickly. Kagome had gone to school the past few days to get caught up on all her schoolwork. She even told her three friends that she is pregnant and will be having a private wedding with Inuyasha and moving away before the baby is born. They said their heart felt goodbye's and celebrated at WacDonald's.

Now, Kagome and Inuyasha are checking into the nicest hotel Kagome has ever seen. Her mother came up to her and handed them both a room key.

"You are in room 10-05." She hugged Kagome tight. "I will see you in a few days, okay?"

"Yes mama. Thank you."

After her mother left, Kagome grabbed Inuyasha's hand and dragged him over to the elevator. She hit the up button and was practically bouncing up and down.

"What the fuck is this thing?" Inuyasha growled at the big box as it beeped and the doors opened. Luckily no one was around to notice.

Kagome rolled her eyes and pushed him inside, clicking the number 10 and watching the doors close. Inuyasha's ears pinned down and he growled even louder. He pulled his sword out and held Kagome protectively behind him.

"No! Inuyasha, put that away!"

"Shut up and let me protect you!"

"Inuyasha. Put. It. Away. We are safe!"

Inuyasha growled and slowly re-sheathed his Tetsusaiga, but he kept his arm around Kagome. Kagome giggled lightly at her hanyou's antics.

The door opened and Inuyasha jumped before sniffing the air and walking tentatively out of the elevator. Kagome grabbed his hand and walked him to room number 10-05.

"See? It's just transportation to our room."

Inuyasha crossed his arms. "Keh. It's dangerous. I don't like it."

Kagome rolled her eyes as she unlocked their room door with the key card. "Come on negative Nancy, enjoy yourself for once."

"What did you call me?"

Kagome rolled her eyes again as she pulled him into the hotel room and shut the door behind them. "Nothing, Inuyasha."

She turned to look at the room and squealed in delight. There was a small hallway that led to the main room. There's a bathroom to their left as they walk in. The bathroom has a tub big enough to fit four people, and the tub is filled with jets around each side. Down the small hallway, leads to the main room. There is a small kitchenette on the closest wall with a small sink, a coffee maker, microwave, and a mini fridge. In the center of the room is a large king size bed with a bedside table on each side. A lamp on each table and a telephone on one of them. About six feet of room is between the foot of the bed and the love seat, which has a wooden coffee table and then a 55" flat screen TV on the wall in front of that.

Kagome rolled her suitcase into the main room and sat it next to the bed. She sat on the comfy mattress and bounced on it a few times. She heard Inuyasha growl and then within a second, she was flat against the bed with him top of her, kissing her like crazy. Kagome wrapped her arms around him and moaned into his mouth. He moved his lips to her neck and lightly scraped his fangs there.

Mate.

He growled, 'Yes. Mate.'

"W-Wait. Inuyasha."

His growl went from content to annoyed. "What? I haven't had you since before we found out you were pupped."

"Just.. Give me a minute."

She pushed him off of her and grabbed her suitcase to take to the bathroom with her.

"What the hell are you doin'? We both bathed before we came here. I swear woman, I can't wait another minute!"

"Will you be patient, dog-boy?"

He growled in response as he sat up on the bed and crossed his arms.

"Give me five minutes, okay?"

"Fine."

She gave him a peck on the lips and then headed to the bathroom. When she came back out four and a half minutes later, she was wearing a white hotel robe. Inuyasha immediately jumped up and kissed her. Kagome pushed him back and laughed when he growled again.

"Don't you want to see underneath the robe, Inuyasha?"

His eyes flashed red at the insinuation of being naked. He grabbed the tie holding the white robe together and pulled it off. When the robe opened, his eyes widened. He quickly shoved the thing off of her shoulders and watched as it fell to her feet. His eyes flashed more and more at the sight of her.

She is wearing a crimson red lacy two piece lingerie set. The bra connects in the front by a small bow, and the undies have a bow on both the left and right sides, when undone will have them fall down her legs. This set leaves very little to the imagination. Her breasts are practically falling out of the bra and the panties barely conceal her ass.

"Wh-wh-what?"

"Do you like it?"

"Y-Yes."

He moved closer, but she stopped him with a hand to his chest.

"Don't rip it, Inuyasha. I want to be able to wear this again. Pull the ribbons and they will easily come undone for you."

Inuyasha quickly threw his Tetsusaiga to the side, causing his youkai to claw its way to the surface even more, but he tamps it down. Then he was out of his cloths in a flash. He closed the distance between them and kissed her, much more softly then she expected.

He spun her around so her back was to the bed, and he backed her all the way to the edge. He layed her down comfortably, and climbed on top of her, his erection poking her clothed heat.

He rested his forehead to hers, they are both breathing heavily. "K-Kagome."

"Inuyasha, I love you."

"I love you too."

Kagome has tears prickling her eyelids. She is just now realizing that this is the first time they will sleep together since admitting their feelings.

Inuyasha kissed the stray tear away from her face before giving her a sweet kiss to the lips.

"I have to tell you something else before we mate."

"Yes?"

"My youkai will come out." He was surprised not to scent any fear from her. "Also, uh... I will need to take you like an Inu."

Kagome blushed. "You mean.. On my hands and knees?" He nodded his head. "Okay." She blushed a deeper red when she admitted this; "I was kind of wanting to try that position too."

Inuyasha growled and kissed her. "You are perfect." Inuyasha lowered his hand to rest it on her stomach and looked into her happy gaze. "How are you feeling?"

Kagome put her own hand over top of his and smiled up at him. "I took something for the nausea, and my appetite has been more then good today."

"Good. Are you ready to become my mate?"

"Gods, yes."

Inuyasha leaned forward and captured her lips with his again. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled his body to be pressed up against hers as she deepened the kiss. Inuyasha groaned into her mouth as his tongue made contact with hers. Kagome moved her hands along his bare back, to his muscled arms and then along his sculpted chest.

Inuyasha moved his mouth to Kagome's neck and nibbled lightly. She moaned and turned her neck to give him more access.

"Fuck, Kagome. You smell so fucking good." She moaned and her arousal spiked even higher. "Every time you exposed your neck for me, my youkai went insane. He wanted to mark you, to claim you, but I couldn't. Not without your permission." He bit into her pulse point a little harder, causing her to buck her hips against him. "Fuck, you're perfect."

"In-Inuyasha."

He moved his lips and fangs down to the top of her breasts and the pulled back to look at her.

"This is so fucking amazing."

He palmed at her breasts through the fabric of her red lingerie bra. He pulled the bow loose using his teeth, and watched as her breasts were freed from their confines. He groaned at the sight.

"These are so fucking perfect."

He latched onto her left nipple with his mouth and grabbed onto her right breast with his hand. Kagome moaned and keened below him.

"Inu.."

He sucked and licked her breasts, paying equal attention to both before lowering his face even more. He licked down her body, around her belly button, and stopped at her red lacy undies. He put his face into her crotch and took a deep breath in.

"Your scent drives me fucking insane. It's so god-damned good."

The past eight months, Kagome finished tenth grade and then got her GED. The Inutachi defeated Naraku with the help of Koga and Sesshomuru, and they completed and purified the shikon no tama. The well unfortunately closed two months ago, but Kagome was able to say goodbye to her family with the hope of seeing them again in 500 years.

Kagome and Inuyasha did end up going to the village headman and getting married six months ago. Now they can happily say they are husband and wife, along with being forever mates.

Sango and Miroku got married five months ago and they are currently three months pregnant with their first born. Well, borns. Inuyasha was actually able to detect two separate heart beats, meaning they are expecting twins.

Kagome was happy when Koga and Ayame came to visit just three months prior. They are happily mated and expecting triplets.

Kagome and Inuyasha built three bedrooms in their hut; The large one is for them, the second biggest is for Shippo who they have officially adopted as their own, and the smallest one is for the new baby after he or she is old enough to have their own room.

Inuyasha even added a separate room to use as a bathroom. There obviously is no plumbing, but he made a pot to use as a toilet and he trades different catches and things in exchange for cloth that they use as washable toilet paper. He even made a tub, that he adds water to and heats up with the help of hot coals and a windpipe. Similar to what Totosai has.

Kagome and Sango had made a small vegetable garden out back where Kagome will grow a variety of vegetables to go with the game that Inuyasha hunts down and catches for them. He has also been teaching Shippo how to properly hunt and catch prey.

Sango and Miroku's hut is much more modest then Kagome and Inuyasha's. Theirs is located within the village, close to Kaede's. They have Two bedrooms, one for them and one for their soon-to-be children. Then one main room where they sit, cook and eat.

The past eight months, the Inutachi have completed a lot, but now that Naraku is defeated, Kikyo is at rest, the shikon no tama is gone, the battle between half brothers and canine love rivals is finally over, everyone can settle down and enjoy their families happily.

She opened her eyes and looked down at Kaede. All she could see was a tuffle of black hair.

"Is he okay?"

Kaede chuckled, "She is just perfect."

Inuyasha smiled wider then Kagome could ever remember seeing.

"She?" Kagome asked happily.

"Aye, congratulations. Ye have a little girl."

Kaede finished cleaning the pup, cutting the cord and tying it off. Then she wrapped her up in a small pink blanket before handing her to Inuyasha. Inuyasha very nervously held his daughter for the first time.

Kaede pulled the large rags, that were used to hold the birthing fluids and after birth, from underneath Kagome and put them into the corner to be disposed of later. She cleaned Kagome up and then stood.

"I will give ye both some privacy. If ye need any herbs, let me know Kagome."

"Thank you, Kaede."

Kaede nodded her head and grabbed the dirty rags on her way out.

Inuyasha handed his daughter to Kagome and she tiredly but happily accepted her into her arms. Inuyasha wiped Kagome's sweaty face with a cool clean rag and then layed down next Kagome in their cot.

Sango took a quick peek at the little girl and smiled before sneaking out quietly to let the others know of the pup.

"She's beautiful." Kagome smiled down at her little pup and coo'd happily at her.

Inuyasha put a clawed hand to the pups head and pat it lightly. At the contact, she opened her eyes and her parents gasped at her. She has big brown eyes like her mother but with golden speckles, from her father. She has human ears and Kagome's raven hair. She has little tiny claws on each finger and human nails on her toes.

Kagome kissed the baby on the top of the head as a tear fell down her face.

"She looks so much like you, Kagome."

Kagome giggled happily, but a sob broke free. She looked down at her daughter again and laughed when the baby started to sniff questionably at her parents.

"She has your nose, Inuyasha. And not just the canine aspect, but it looks just like yours."

"Feh. I told ya we'd have a girl with your eyes." He smirked at her and she rolled her eyes in response.

"Her eyes are a mix of both of ours. She is absolutely perfect." Kagome looked up at Inuyasha and smiled. "What do you want to name her?"

Inuyasha kissed Kagome softly before kissing the pup on the top of the head.

"How about, Moroha?"

Mrs. Higurashi heard a soft knock at the door. She left the kitchen to answer and gasped as she saw who it was.

She knows who it is, but words escape her. She gestures for her guests to come in and they head the request happily. Mrs. Higurashi closes the door and turns to stare at the woman in front of her.

A woman with long raven hair who appears to be about 35 years old, but who is actually 517, smiles. "Hello mama."

"Oh my." Mrs. Higurashi immediately hugs her daughter, careful of the small bundle in her arms, and both women cry happy tears.

"Feh. Kagome, you said you wouldn't cry."

Kagome pulled away and wiped her face clean. "I know, Inuyasha. It's just been so long." She turned to the black haired man and smiled. "You can take the beads off now."

Inuyasha, and both other demons take their charms off. Inuyasha puts his neckalce into his pocket for later. His silver hair and dog ears are back, along with his golden eyes, claws and fangs.

"Mama, I would like you to meet my first born, Moroha. She is about 500 years old. She is a quarter demon."

Mrs. Higurashi immediately hugged her granddaughter who looks almost identical to her Kagome, when she had left three weeks ago. When Moroha had the bracelet on, she could have been her twin, now that the bracelet is off, she has claws, fangs, and her eyes are brown with speckles of gold.

Mrs. Higurashi pulled back and looked Moroha in the eyes. "You are so beautiful. Just like your mama."

"Keh."

Kagome laughed and shook her head at her daughter's response. "Mama, this is our adopted son, Shippo. He was the little fox demon I told you so much about."

Before he took off his watch, he was a normal looking red-headed adult with green eyes. Now that the concealment charm is off, he has six tails and fox feet. He has bright emerald green eyes and fangs popping over his lips. He is about two inches taller than Inuyasha.

"It is so nice to meet you, Shippo. Kagome told me so much about you."

Shippo smiled. "I'm glad to finally meet mother's other family."

Mrs. Higurashi looked into Kagome's arms. "And who is this little guy?"

Kagome removed the little charm bracelet from the pups wrist and he transformed into his hanyou self. Before the charm was removed, he looked identical to Inuyasha on his human nights. After it was removed, he looks identical to Inuyasha's hanyou form. He has a slightly darker shade of golden eyes, and silver hair, little claws and fangs, and doggie ears on top of his head. He was conceived while Inuyasha was transformed into a full youkai, so he is a true hanyou.

"His name is Tōga, after Inuyasha's father. We actually have three other children. Twins, a boy and a girl. They are about 490 years old. And another boy who is about 200. They are currently traveling the world with their mates and pups, so they couldn't be here today. They did all promise to visit for the holidays though." Kagome paused as she looked at Shippo and put her arm around him. "Shippo's mate Rin is actually eight months pregnant so she is at her father Sesshomuru's house resting."

Shippo and Rin started to get much closer once Inuyasha and Sesshomuru stopped fighting so much. Sesshomuru ended up saving Kagura with the Tenseiga and mating her shortly after. Then a few years later, when Shippo was 17 and Rin was 18, they ended up completing the mating bond.

Sango and Miroku's twin girls actually mated demons as well, so they are both alive and well. Kin'u mated with Shippo and Rin's first born son, Hikaru. Gyokuto mated with Koga and Ayame's only son, Daiki. Sango and Miroku's third born son ended up growing up and marrying a human woman, and becoming a monk just like his father, but with a less wandering hand. Kohaku ended up meeting the bat hanyou Shiori when she was 17 and he was 21. They became fast friends and mated two years later. Kohaku lives with his mate and Kirara in the states. Kirara wears a cat collar that works as her own charm in order to look like an average house cat.

"Wow, Kagome. This is all just so amazing. Your brother is going to be so happy when he gets home from school."

Kagome smiled widely and wiped yet another tear from her face. She handed Tōga over to Inuyasha and hugged her mother as tight as she dared. It was then that, Mrs. Higurashi noticed a small bump on Kagome's belly. She gasped and put her hand to her daughters stomach.

Kagome giggled and nodded. "I am just two months along. Tōga over there is only five months old so they will be very close in age."

Mrs. Higurashi giggled in delight. "And I will get to be here during the entire pregnancy." She hugged her daughter again and then moved her hand to wave the rest of her new family closer.

Shippo immediately obliged and hugged the women while Moroha and Inuyasha grumbled but joined in anyway.

"I love you guys, so much. All of you." Kagome said quietly.

One by one, each person exclaimed their love. The final to speak, was Inuyasha as he turned Kagome's face to his and kissed her lips softly.

"I love you, Kagome. Forever."

Kagome kissed him again. "I love you, Inuyasha. Always."
