AN- short chapter alert!!! I got slightly sick of cliff hangers so I figured I would give you guys a short chapter as filler before the next big plot twister ^_~

 

From Demons To Dementors

The next three days passed by excruciatingly slow, everyone seemed to do the same few tasks over and over until the day ended…and then they would wake up and do it all over again. Sirius, Souta and Harry were all still unconscious in their perspective beds. Mrs.Weasley fussed over everyone even more than usual after hearing what had happened in the room upstairs. Hermione, Ron, Ginny and the twins spent most of their time at their friends' bedsides. Mad eye and Tonks could be found huddled together, whispering battle plans and different attack maneuvers. Mr.Weasley usually oversaw his three unconscious friends, and all the visitors who attended them. Lastly there was Lupin, lupin spent his hours going up and down stairs, in and out of rooms, checking on every living and nonliving thing in the house of black. Frequently could he be found staring at the closed door of the room upstairs. No one else would walk within 10 feet of that room, but lupin couldn't help himself…he was restless.

“BAM!” a loud thud could be heard coming from upstairs, everyone raised their heads in acknowledgement but no one got up. This had been a daily occurrence…no, not daily…hourly occurrence, every so often strange noises could be heard coming from the room upstairs. They had long since discovered that they could not touch the door or open it for that matter. lupin had tried to open the door when the first loud noise made its self known, and was shocked, repelled and thrown back a good few feet. Luckily today was the supposed day three of Kagome's return, the day surius would wake up and hopefully the day they would get some answers.

CRASH!!!!!!!!! another loud noise echoed from upstairs, only this time there were voices attached.

“WHAT!!!!”

“HE DID WHAT??!!!” yelled a very angry voice from the upstairs room

“THEY DIDN'T LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!” downstairs grew quiet; everyone was now intently staring at the ceiling, wincing when another loud crash was heard

“BASTARDS, I'LL KILL THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!” multiple thumps could be heard and then a loud crack as the sealed door was thrown open with such a force that it broke off its hinges

“NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!!” the voice was now a great deal louder now that the sealed door was out of the way.

“OH SHUT THE HELL UP WILL YOU!” Lupin almost smirked at the one sided argument if the situation hadn't been so grave.

“CASTRATION IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET MY POINT ACROSS!!!” was the loudest and scariest scream by far, the guys couldn't help but slightly cover themselves in halfhearted protection while the girls snickered quietly at the boys misfortune.

“I THINK IM BEING VERY REASONABLE!!!” silence followed after each outburst

“ WHAT!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!”

“BITCH!”

“500 YEARS HAS MADE YOU SO BORRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I WASN'T GOING TO KILL ALL OF THEM….just a few of them”

“I AM NOT POUTING!!!”

“ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Then it all went quiet, no one made a sound and the noise upstairs had turned deathly silent. With one last look around the living room, where ironically most of them were situated, lupin decided to go check upstairs. Turning towards the stairs he stopped halfway…and yelled.

“FUCK!!” Lupin would have fallen over had it not been for the deathly cold grip of a pissed off kagome around his neck.

“ka…kagome…what?” he gasped in pain. Kagome threw him up against the wall, still holding on to his neck.

“bastard” she seethed, her grey eyes flashing with anger.

“kagome!” Hermione yelled, not sure what else she could do, she was as helpless as everyone else. They were all standing around the room, wands out, although they knew it wouldn't do anything. The only one who could stop kagome was souta and even he couldn't control her fully.

“why didn't you listen to my warnings?” kagome snarled. Lupin felt dizzy, lack of oxygen was making him see stars.

“sor...ry… I…didn't…unde…rstand…till…it..w…as̷ 0;too…la…te …forgi..ve…me” lupin vision started to go black. In the back of kagome's head she vaguely remembered that they were only human…humans make mistakes quite frequently if she remembered correctly.

“see to it that you do not fail again” Kagome released him, but before he could fall to the ground she decided to educate him the only way she knew how. she threw her hands into the folds of her haori and prepared for the scream that would soon follow her punishment.

“AHHHHHHHH!” lupin didn't fail her as he screamed in pain and surprise, a small and very sharp looking dagger sticking out of his shoulder.

“that is so you do not forget this important lesson…most do not get a second chance…be glad that I occasionally take pity on the weak” she turned around and glared at every single last one of them.

“next time you won't be so lucky, take heed my warnings in the future” kagome closed her eyes briefly as she considered the words of her other self

“…weasley?...” she mumbled to no one in particular. Then she looked up at Mr.weasley, who in turn jumped

“my other self thanks you for your concern…back then” kagome's eyes softened slightly. Mr.weasley was speechless

“oh…ah…your welcome, it was nothing really” his ears turned red in embarrassment. Kagome nodded, turning to look over her shoulder at the slightly bleeding lupin on the floor.

“someone get him cleaned up, in the mean time take me to the boys…it's time they woke up” she smirked as they scrambled to complete her orders.

“I'm backkkk” she sang to herself, watching with pleasure as Lupin yanked the small dagger out of his shoulder with a yelp.

“did you have to stab him? Don't you think that's a little over the top?” kikyo mentally winced

“I had to make the lesson stick, what better way than with a sharp, pointy object?” kagome said in a singsongy voice, clearly enjoying being back in her own body.

“how long do you think Naraku will sleep?” kikyo asked changing the subject

“I would say…about a day or two...i was quite mad when I got back, wouldn't you say” kagome reminisced fondly as kikyo shook her metaphorical head and sighed

AN- I know, uber short chapter, but hey, my beta is still MIA in Canada. So I figure I can get away with a 2 pager.
