I reach for Inu-Yasha's shoulder but I remembered Mr. Pompfrey's warning. So I placed my hand on the side of his hip and gently move him. He didn't even bulge. Man, he's hard to disturb, I thought. I continued to move him. And this time, I got absorbed by his lips again. Oh no, I thought. I can't escape this one anymore. I tried really hard not to lean forward but again my body won't listen!!

 

This time, instead of turning, Inu-Yasha's eyes opened!!! I must have died and flew to the skies because of embarrassment!!!! I know that I'm as red as a tomato.

 

I finally managed to make my body listen to my brain and I stood straight and tried to think.

 

“Kagome-chan?” he said rubbing his eyes. “Why are you here?”

 

“Uh, I woke up early today and decided to have breakfast but I found out you weren't there.” I started explaining. “And Ana told me that you were still sleeping so I decided to do it myself.”

 

“Oh, yeah?” Inu-Yasha smirked. “How? By kissing me?”

 

I opened my mouth and tried to speak but nothing came out. I think I'm going to cry.

 

“Don't worry,” he said, standing up. “That's alright.”

 

He took out a red, long sleeved T-shirt and a white one with normal length of sleeves (I don't know if there's a term for that).

 

“What looks better?” he asked me.

 

“Uh, I don't know.” Both look good, especially on him. “Put the white one on top of the red one, I guess.” (you know, like what Ashton Kutcher does with his shirts)

 

“Good idea,” he pulled on his sleepwear. “Do you mind?”

 

“Uh, no.” I said, quickly turning around.

 

“Hey, do you remember the surprise I told you about last night?” he asked.

 

“Yeah, what is it anyway?”

 

“I'll show you later on.”

 

“Oh, come on!”

 

“Let's have breakfast first!”

 

“Okay”

 

We rushed out of his room and went to the dining area.

 

 

“The food has turned cold, Master Inu-Yasha” Mr. Pompfrey said. “Do you mind waiting for a little while.”

 

“Yeah that's alright.” He said.

 

“What's for breakfast, Mr. Pompfrey?” I inquired.

 

“Lasagna.” He said. “One of Master Inu-Yasha's favourites.”

 

“Yummy.” Inu-Yasha said. He's really like a kid, no?

 

We have finished eating. The lasagna was terrific, really wonderful.

 

“Let's go” Inu-Yasha said.

 

“Wait, I'm still in a kimono.”

 

“Oh, yeah.” He said, realizing my present state. “We should go shopping first.”

 

“No, I can borrow from your house helps.”

 

“But…” he surrendered. “Okay.”

 

Kaia immediately brought a knee-length black skirt, with sort of ruffles in it and a white off-shoulder. She even brought a cute dark green bracelet and a red bow for my hair.

 

“Thank you.” I said. I rushed to my room, changed and dab on some lip gloss and powder. I looked at the mirror. Good to go, I thought.
