*~Chapter: 3 Crossing Paths~*

Kagome slowly started to open her eyes but then quickly shut them back from the suns blinding rays. She was a little dazed at the moment and wondered why she was so warm and comfortable, then she opened her eyes again this time slowly adjusting to the light then she saw an arm with stripes on it and remembered what happened and smiled. She moved slightly to unhooked from his grasp a little but it was a bad move seeing how's Sesshoumaru felt it and tightened his grip and pulled her to him more.

She smirked, then turned in his arms to face him.
'He looks so peaceful and even NON-violet when he's sleepingOh and can't forget hot.' She giggled at this. Although she didn't know, Sesshoumaru had been awake since before she had woken.
He opened his eyes to her giggling.
"What is so funny?" he asked.
She kissed his chest then looked up at him.
"Nothing."
He smirked. "If it was nothing then you would not have laughed, so tell memate."
She giggled again. "Well mate." she improvised sarcastically the word mate. "I was laughing because you look so cute when your sleeping."
His smirk became very big.
She saw this and pulled up and kissed him. He pulled her closer savoring the taste of her once more.
He pulled away.
"After breakfast would you feel like getting your pup and friends?" He asked.
"Yes thank you." He kissed her.
"As long as your happy."

***********Mean while with Inuyasha's Gang***************

Inuyasha came back past dawn that day with Kikyo.
"You don't think they'll hate me do you Inuyasha?" she asked.
"Of course they won't your way better at findig the shards than Kagome will ever be."
As they slowly walked into camp all eyes were on them.
"Inuyasha why is Kikyo here?"
"Because she can find the shards much better and faster than Kagome can."
"But Inuyasha Kagome isn't even here we thought she was with you but your with her so where is Kaogme?" Shippo cried out.
"Shippo shut up she probably just went for a walk." Inuyasha said totally oblivious to the fact that if she did she could have seen them.
"But she's been gone for hours about the same time you left!?!" Shippo yelled back. By this time Sango had gotten upset and had taken hold of Shippo to try and confort him.
"What were you doing with her?" Sango nearly screamed.
"Thats none of your.." He stopped senseing a familiar presence approahing. 'Kagome..oh no i cant let her see Kikyo yet.' He thought glad that she was still alive. 'Wait I love Kikyo so why does it matter..' He didn't have time to finish that thought as he sensed another familer presence. 'Sesshoumaru..if he hurt her I swear i'll kill him. Oh no what to do with Kikyo..'

Sango and Shippo had stopped screaming at Inuyasha when he stopped answering and started thinking.
"What is it?" Miroku asked.
Ignoreing his question he turned to Kikyo. "Kikyo i what you to go hide somewhere. Anywhere but near here."
"Why?" She asked.
"Just do it." He said angerly.
"Fine." She left but not doing as told she went as far back to where she could still clearly see what was happening.

*~*~*~*~*~Earlier with Sesshoumaru~*~*~*~*~*~*

After eatting breakfast Sesshoumaru and Kagome went to Sesshoumaru's two headed dragon. ( I forgot the name of it.) Kagome was always alittle frightened of it and walked cautiously behind Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru noticeing the slow pace turned to her.

"You shouldn't be frightened Kagome." He said amusingly.
"And why should I not?"
"Because I think they will like you."
"How do you know?"
"You are my mate." She smiled at hearing him say that and walked back up to him. 'This should be fun.' He thought holding back a laugh.

As soon as they came up to where the dragon stayed Sesshoumaru disapeared and Kagome franticly started to look for him sense he had blocked himself from her miko powers. Sesshoumaru stayed in a corner watching his mate amusingly. 'Oh yes this should be very interesting..'

Then from out of nowhere the two headed dragon ran towards Kagome. Kagome's eyes bugged out of her head with fear as the dragon jumped on her and stared at her. Kagome knew she was gonna die right then and there not knowing where Sesshoumaru was. All of sudden one of the dragons started to lick her face up and down while the other started to sniff her. She sighed and lost her fear then started to giggle and thats when Sesshoumaru decided to show himself. "So you see they do like you." He said smirking. Between giggles she answered him back. "Yeah it would seem.."

Sesshoumaru walked back over to the dragon and patted its head. "Good work." Kagome not knowing what was going on decided not to say anything and got up from underneath the dragon. "Well shall we go then?" Kagome said while the dragon heads kept sniffing her. "Yes we need to get back for other things.." He said with a devilish smirk. Kagome laugh at his tactics.While the dragon started to lift up and fly, Sesshoumaru picked Kagome up and jumped into the air landing on its back. Kagome gasped in surprize as Sesshoumaru chuckled. As they neared where Inuyasha would be Kagome watched Sesshoumaru put his no emotion mask on. 'What a difference that makes..' She thought.
Kagome took deep breaths as Inuyasha and her friends came into view from the heigth they were in. Kagome knew Inuyasha could sense them by now. As the dragon slowly lower from the sky Sesshoumaru held Kagome tighter to him as to calm her. Kagome, in response, held onto the hand wrapped around her. As they lower to the ground Kagome sensed Kikyo but did not see which meant she is hiding. 'Good one Inuyasha try and hide her from me tisk tisk..' She thought as they touched the ground where Inuyasha stood.

"Hello dear brother." Sesshoumaru started off not even bothering getting off the dragon. Everyone was surprized and didnt know what to do exept Inuyasha. (Well of course we all know what happens next right?? lol) Inuyasha surprized and shocked unsheithed Tetsuiga and started shouting at Sesshoumaru.

"Sesshoumaru you bastrad you better not have hurt her or i'll.."
"I, Sesshoumaru have done nothing of the sort. But you on the other hand.." Everyone look surprize at the information they just heard and he stopped as Kagome took over from there.
"Shippo come here and bring Kirara with you." Shippo looked around not knowing what to do. He looked at Sango who just nodded her head.
Thats when Inuyasha yelled at her, not meaning to, but seeing her with his brother bought out anger he didn't know he had.
"You listen here bitch you've been gone long enough.." He didnt finish because Kagome broke in.
"Inuyasha I am not your bitch seeing hows you already have one ...hiding in the trees back over there." Inuyasha turned his head when he finally did sense her and felt guilty. Senseing his guiltyness she smiled. "Shippo come here now with Kirara." Shippo did as told and jumped up into her lap. Kagome held Shippo and whispered what she was doing and he smiled. "Ok..now Kirara will you transform for please?" Kirara moewed and transformed. Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku didn't know what was going on anymore.

"I bet all of you are wondering what is going on, wel,l Inuyasha have fun with the sharding hunting with your dead bitch over there." Hearing him growl, she laughed. "As for Miroku and Sango.." They looked at each not knowing if something good or bad was going to happen. "..You guys are coming with us and are going to live in a hut I picked out by the Western Lands, where I, Sesshoumaru and Shippo will live." She stopped right there to let all of it sink into them.
Inuyasha shiethed Tetsugia and dropped to the ground not knowing if this was real or not. That was when he regretting doing anything like that with a clay and bones.
After talking a few minutes Miroku and Sango got on Kirara and waited for Kagome to finish up with Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha i hope if we ever cross paths again it will be more pleasent than this."

With that said they took off towards the sky.
