Sitting around the fire, Sango, now sixteen, remembered that night truly well. The night was exactly like that fateful night just a little over 3 years ago. Oh, how wrong it had gone…

 

Miroku, who had been sitting next to her, saw her shudder violently. Confused at the sadness and fear radiating around her, he casually scooted closer to her and…

 

“MIROKU YOU HENTAI!!!!!!!!!!”

 

*SMACK*

 

And now, as Miroku silently lay in a heap on the ground he thinks to himself…'that's the Sango I love…hopefully her mind is off the horrors of the past now.'

 

Now everything is back to normal. Sango is fuming and ranting at Kagome about the stupidity of man. Miroku is picking himself off the ground and defending his pride against the women. InuYasha is silently snickering in the corner. And Shippo is snidely commenting to Kilala about how he wished the peace and quiet from before were still here…

 

All is well with our group until…

 

“Wait, you guys…I'm sensing a demon! ...It's right outside the door! Damn it, I shoulda' caught it sooner!”

 

Inuyasha quickly drew the Tetsusaiga as he said this and pointed it towards the door…ready for anything…when

 

Knock, Knock, Knock…

 

This took everyone by surprise…demons usually don't knock, of course. They just barge right in…usually.

 

Kagome finally got up and went to the door. “Kagome! What the hell do you think your DOING?!?”

 

“Sit, boy.”

 

“AARG!!”

 

“Why, hello little girl!”

 

And in the doorway stood a small girl, at the age of no more than 3, standing in the doorway.

 

“InuYasha, is THIS your big bad demon?”

 

“Come on! Can't you see? She IS a demon!”

 

“It's okay to be wrong once in a while you know InuYasha.”

 

“Um…may I…erm…come in…maybe?”

 

“Oh! Yes, yes. Come on, lets get you all dried up.”

 

As she was being dried up with Kagome's towel, two little tiger ears popped up. Right at the top of her head. And, as her hair dried they also noticed the bright yellow-orange color to it with coal black streaks.

 

This, of course, made EVERYONE stare.

 

“SEE! I TOLD YOU SHE WAS A DEMON!!!”

 

Yes, InuYasha it seems you were correct after all, but are you sure she's a full demon?”

 

“I'm not a full…I'm only half…My daddy was killed a long time ago and my mommy left me when I was really little…”

 

“Oh, you poor thing! InuYasha, we've got to take her in! She has nowhere to go!”

 

WHAT? You're kidding me right? Come on! She could be one of Naraku's spies! We don't know if we can trust her! What if…”

 

And, in the commotion of it all. Sango is sitting, shivering, `No…no…this can't be…how…?'

The young Sango stands there, impatiently waiting…waiting for the tiger demon to come out. Oh, how she cannot wait!

 

Suddenly, the huge tiger demon bursts out of the tiny hut. He is in his true form now and is dwarfing them all in comparison. His huge paw comes down on them all.

 

“Retreat! Retreat! Sango! Get out of there!”

 

“NO! This is MY kill!!”

 

And, as everyone runs. Sango stays behind. Scared to her very bones she dodges the tiger lord's attacks. Throwing and catching the almost useless Hiraikotsu. Hoping to find his weakness…

 

Too bad there is none.

 

Finally, he stops playing around and hits her with his goliath paw.

 

She goes out like a light.

 

She wakes up sometime later in a hut.

 

“What…happened to me?”

 

“Ah, so my little toy is awake finally.”

 

She whips around to see the powerful Lord of the East, Tamaki. She makes a terrified break towards the door. His speed is too much for her though and backhands her in the face and pins her down with one hand while the other starts on her clothes.

 

“Now I can have my way with you!”

 

And, yet again…she blacks out.

Suddenly, the little kitten of a girl takes a deep whiff.

 

“Mama!!! My mama is here!!”

 

She looks wildly around and finally takes a good long look at Sango, then runs to her hugging her around her middle.

 

“Mama! I've finally found you!!!”

O_o oooOOOooo!!!!

 

What will happen next? Nobody knows…not even me!
