Ch. 3 Live or let Die

Normal P.O.V.

“First though, drop the concealment charm, I've always wondered what you really look like” said Kagome. Sesshoumaru eyeballed her strangely but didn't voice his opinion, only, to her surprise; he reached up and pulled off one of the two earrings on his left ear. Once the charm was off, he still had silver hair and golden eyes which weren't a surprise, but his markings were what really got her, he had two purple stripes on each cheek and a crescent moon on his forehead; his eyes were also outlines with the lightest tint of blue.

Kagome gawked; she had never seen such a beautiful demon in her life, sure he was beautiful normally, but his demon side just enhanced the fact. “You are miko I presume” stated Sesshoumaru.

“Yeah, I was taught to sense demonic energy along time ago, but back to the fact what's your story” asked Kagome.

Before he had a chance to answer Sesshoumaru pulled up in front of an elegant looking house, it could almost be called a manner. It had two stories from the looks of it and the outer side was made out of black and grey stone.

“What are we doing here” asked Kagome.

“We shall talk in my private study” said Sesshoumaru parking the car and walking up to the house.

Kagome followed suit and soon they were standing in front of the door while the large house loomed overhead. To Kagome's surprise, the door opened on its own accord and Sesshoumaru walked into the house. Kagome followed and was greeted by dark wooden floors and sliver white walls. Before them was a large circle staircase, with crystal handrails and wooden steps, that divided the large room in half. On either side were open archways that lead to some other part of the house. When one looked up they could see where the staircase connected to the second story, because it was all open and had crystal handrails, the hallway you could see again split in two different directions, then disappeared.

Sesshoumaru lead Kagome up the staircase and to the western side of the house that was no doubt his wing. Looking down the long hallway, that had amazingly become carpet; she saw golden walls with about 5 wooden double doors. Their was one large door at the direct end of the hallway, she guessed was Sesshoumaru's room, then two doors on one side and two doors on the other side of the hallway. They walked to the end of the hallway and then, before reaching Sesshoumaru's bedroom, took a left and wound up in a large elegant looking study, that was colored dark silver that almost looked grey and had white fluffy carpeting, it had large bay windows and lots of books.

The room was a perfect square, however the back half was covered in books, and the front half was a sitting room of types, with a few leather couches set up in a U and a large desk with complete computer hookup and a small lamp. Kagome gawked while Sesshoumaru sat on one of the couches, depositing his practice bag on the ground next to his person.

“Sit” said Sesshoumaru.
