Kagome was hiding behind a large tree as she listened to what Inuaysha was telling Kikyo. She couldn't beleive it. "Inuaysha, do you love me?" "Of course Kikyo, I've always loved you." "What about my reencarnation?" "She's just a shard detector, nothing more." Kagome couldn't take it. She did the only thing she thought posible and ran. Inuaysha's head shot up and he let go of Kikyo. The dead preistess called her soul steelers to her and left. Inuaysha knowing she had gone ran after Kagome. He found her colapsed on the ground by the well. Crying.

now i will tell you what i've done for you
50 thousand tears i've cried

She raised her tear streaked face to him. A look of betrayal and hurt making her usualy happy features look like she would never smile again. Inuyasha felt his heart tightnen painfully and he took a step forward. Kagome shot up and out of the clearing, leaving a very guilty hanyou to follow. And follow he did. "Kagome, tell me whats wrong? Why are you running from me?" he whispered when he stopped her in a feild.


screaming deceiving and bleeding for you
and you still won't hear me

Kagome glared at him " Like you don't know Inuyasha. All I've ever done was be nice and try to get you to like me. But I see thats impossible now, your stuck with a dead clay pot and your only hope of escape has decided that the pain isn't worth it!" Inuyasha's ears drooped. She was rite, he wasn't worth the pain. Kagome laughed, it wasn't warm and welcomeing like usual, this one was desperet and full of anguish. It made Inuyasha's heart wrench and he wished he could hold her and chase away the pain. He took a step forward and Kagome took a step back "Don't Inuyaha. You can't hold me and tell me sorry any more. Its your fault this time. Nothing you do will fix this."

maybe i'll wake up for once

"Kagome." Inuyasha whispered. It hurt. It hurt worse than when people had made fun of him and thrown things at him. Because this time it had been the one person who had always accepted him and this time it was his fault. Kagome turned her back to him and walked away untill she was out of sight and she sped up to a run, tears streaming from her eyes. She came to a large cliff and looked over the edge. It would be so easy to just jump. All her pain would go away and nothing would be her fault. It was always her fault, she couldn't have Inuaysha because she wasn't Kikyo, she broke the jewel because she wasn't Kikyo, she always had to be rescued because she wasn't Kikyo. "I'M NOT KIKYO DAMN IT!!!" she screamed befor running off the cliff.

not tormented daily defeated by you
just when i thought i'd reached the bottom

Inuyasha looked up when he herd Kagome scream that she wasn't Kikyo. He stood up from where he had been sitting silently crying and ran towards Kagome. He arrived just in time to see Kagome run off the cliff. "KAGOME!!!" he screamed and ran after her, stopping at the edge. She was gone. A raging river had swept her away. Inuyasha dropped to his knees and pounded his fists into the ground. Sobbing.

His bangs covered his face and he was gripping Tetsaiga ((Sp?)) tightly. No matter what he did thuogh, his demon blood demanded that he kill. Demanded he kill Kikyo for making Kagome run. Making her die. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that it wasn't KiKyo's fault. But he didn't care. Nothing mattered anymore. He didn't even want to fight his demon blood, so he took Tetsaiga and tossed it over the cliff. His eyes turned red and two jagged purple stipes appeared on his face. his fangs and claws lengthened and he howled into the nite. Sniffing the air for Kikyo.

blurring and stirring the truth and the lies
so i don't know what's real and what's not

He ran through the forest untill he found her. She was with Naraku and they were embracing just like she had done with him. He growled angrily and launched himself at the pair. He ripped his claws through Kikyo's flesh and snarled angrily when no blood spilled. Kikyo turned to dust and Naraku growled. How dare that dog take HIS Kikyo! "You will die for that Inuaysha!" Naraku hissed.

always confusing the thoughts in my head
so i can't trust myself anymore

Inuyasha smirked as Naraku ran at him. It would be easy to kill the Kumo hanyou when he wasn't thinking. Inuyasha ripped his claws through flesh and was happy when he felt the blood. It oozed inbetween his fingurs and his opponent cried out in pain. He barley registered when a tentacle shot through his gut and he continued to assualt Naraku.

"DIE DOG!!! JUST LIKE YOUR WHORE OF A MIKO!!!" Naraku screamed as he ripped at Inuaysha's skin with his claws. Inuyasha laughed. It was cold and evil. It made Naraku's skin goosebump and his nerve's depleeted to almost nothing with fear. Maybe Killing Kagome wasn't a smart Idea after all.

so go on and scream
scream at me i'm so far away

Inuyasha laughed as he sliced his claws through flesh and bone. Naraku screamed one last time befor Inuyasha sliced his head off. The Inu hanyou looked at his dead prey with glee. An image of a smiling face with wide innocent blue eyes flooded his vision and he sreamed, all happyness gone at the reminder that she was dead. He bolted out of the clearing towards the river she had fallen into.

i've got to breathe i can't keep going under

He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a body lying face down on the bank. It had on a white and green uniform, the shards of the Shikon no Tama around its neck. He had the other part of the jewel from Naraku. All he needed were those peices and he could bring her back. Hope floaded his emotions and he raced over to the limp form of Kagome. He picked up her peices and touched them to the jewel. It glowed and became whole again. "I want Kagome to come back!" he wimpered and watch as a bright light enveloped them. When it died down he turned the school girl over and checked for signs of life. He found none.

He tossed the jewel into the water and watched as it sunk. He turned to Kagome and let out a tear, followed by another. Untill he was sobbing into her stomach begging her ot come back for him. She didn't stir and a cold breaze filled the area, lifting Inuyasha's hair and making it whip around him. He pulled away from her. His eyes still red and the stripes still there. If she couldn't come back to him he would go to her. He brought his claws to a wrist and sliced it open. Crying out against the pain. He did the same to his other wrist and laid down next to her. Pulling her up against himself his blood pooled around them and stained their clothes. Inuyasha's eyes turned golden and he smiled through the pain. He could remember everything. Killing Kikyo and Naraku. And now he was going to be with the woman he loved forever. "I'm sorry I got your clothes stained with my blood Kagome. And I'm sorry that it took so long for me to figure out that.....I loved you..." he slowly losed his eyes and took his last breath.
