I look at you and see more than just your face. I see the details in your cheeks, the way they pink at the slightest hint of emotion. I see your lips, and remember the way they pout when you're upset, and the way they bruise when I kiss them. I see your eyes, and remember the way I stare and loose myself in your pools of gold. You're figure is what I like, not too over the top like those men in the magazines, but holds a power that's good for more that fighting. You're hair, in all its glory, is something I've been jealous of for a while. It's so long and flowing, keh, it looks good even when it's messy. But none of that seems to matter anymore does it? I gave my all to you; presented it in the best ramen cup money could buy, ha-ha, and yet… I still see the way you long for her. I still see the way your head turns at the hint of her name. So I've decided that I can't take it anymore. I've decided that, moving on isn't an option… I needed someone that would look at me the way I look at you, the way I praise your every imperfections. The way I stay by your side, even after you left me to go to her… right after we became one. I needed you. I guess you can't help what your heart wants though, eh? So now… I've decided to bring this to an end. No more heart break, no more longing to be with you, no more… just…no more.
 
“Hey Kags, you coming to bed?”
“In a bit, Inuyasha, just finishing this.”
“Hurry up will ya? I'm starting to miss you.”
“Very funny… I'm coming.”
 
I've done enough, I guess. I've stayed by your side, and helped hunt Naraku, being your little “jewel censor”, made love to you under the sun, the moon, even when nothing but clear sky hung over our heads. But the time has come… and the end is here… there's no turning back. I've made up my mind. I'm done with love... I'm done with life…
 
“Kagome?”
“Yea?”
“You know I love you, right?”
“Yes… I know…”
“Ok… just… just letting you know…”
“Inuyasha?”
“Yes Kagome?”
“I love you too…I will always love you…”
“Is something wrong?”
“Nothing… just…I love you too…”
“Ok then… I'll be in you're room… don't take too long. We have to get ready to go back, ok?”
“Yea sure, ok…”
 
I'm sorry that I'm not her… I'm sorry that I couldn't be enough for you… I'm just… sorry…Good bye my love. Good bye…till we meet again, where angels fly, good bye, and farewell…

“Inuyasha! Wake up! You're screaming again…”
“Ka…Kagome…”
“Another bad dream, Yash?”
“Kikyo… oh, uh no… just… just go back to bed.”
“It was about her wasn't it?”
“Just go to sleep, Kikyo…”
“You just said her name… tell me, please.”
“Kikyo… drop it…”
“Ok, Inuyasha… but…what ever happened to her anyways?”
“Nothing I couldn't have prevented…but just… just stop talking about it…”
“Inuyasha?”
“What?”

“Ok… go to bed now…”
