Ch. 1 The party

 

Inuyasha was an owner of a large chain of hotels along with his half brother Sesshomaru they inherited it since there father died. The largest hotel they owned however was where they stayed it was in downtown Tokyo it was shaped like a giant pentagon, at each point was a pillar of rooms, the 2 first pillars of rooms were where the two boys homes where. They were on the top story and took op the whole floor also there was a glass walk way that connected both rooms. Inuyasha's home was on the left side and Sesshoumaru's room was on the right side.

 

Before Kagome's father died he was a part of that business and was very close to Inuyasha. Inuyasha knew that Kagome's father had a daughter but he didn't know her very well but he did know the family. Kagome's mother still also worked at the hotel chain in that particular hotel. She was the desk woman and was a very hard worker. The hotels policy was that they could find you a room for $60 dollars and up depending on how fancy you wanted your room of how many people were in it.

 

Tonight was the night of the hotel staff party and Inuyasha said that Kagome's mother could bring Kagome and Kagome only. Her brother Souta had to get a babysitter. Kagome and her mom were getting ready and the babysitter was already here. It was suppose to be a very fancy party so you were supposes to dress up. Kagome's mom was in her room getting ready while Kagome was in her room. Kagome was putting on a light green dress with black designs on it with black shoes. Her black hair was up in a high pony tail with a green hair tie.

 

“Tonight is going to be another long night” said Kagome walking down the stairs, she never really liked these kinds of parties there was nothing to do at them and this was the first time she was asked to come.

 

She was 18 and from what he mother told her Inuyasha was 20. Her mother also said that he was a demon well half demon but Tokyo had gotten use to demons and half demons all over the place. She also explained that Inuyasha's older brother was full demon.

 

“Mom, im ready” Kagome yelled down the hallway. “Ok dear, I was thinking that we could take separate cars just incase one of us had to go home for some reason then the other person could still stay at the party” said Kagome's mom.

 

“Yeah sure ok, but im ready so im going to go” said Kagome walking into the kitchen. “Ok, see you at the party dear” said Kagome's mom as Kagome walked out of the house and into her convertible that was green.

 

“Wow, I think I over did it with the green, my car is green, my dress is green, what next, oh well at least I love the color” said Kagome laughing at herself.

 

She got in the car and drove off. It only took her about 5 minutes to arrive at the hotel. When she got there she pulled up to a gate and a man asked her if she was here for the party and what her name was and Kagome said “yes I am, my names Kagome Higurashi” said Kagome.

 

“Ok you may enter” said the man and the gates opened, then he handed Kagome a paper with a number on it and explained that it was her parking spot and Kagome drove in.

 

“Ok spot 20” said Kagome to herself as she drove into that spot realizing that it was off to the side of the building on the left hand side of the left pillar. “Wow, this is really a nice hotel” said Kagome getting out of the car and shutting the door.

 

Kagome walked to the main section of the hotel witch was in-between the first two pillars. She saw that that was the entrance and that there were glass walkways from pillar to pillar on the ground and elevators at every pillar to lead you to the top. In the middle of it all was a large garden with a large fountain right in the middle of it.

 

“This really is a nice place” said Kagome walking into the main waiting entrance room. “You must be Kagome” said a deep yet kind voice.

 

Kagome spun around to look into the face of a silver haired boy with dog ears that she liked a lot. He had golden eyes and was wearing a black tux. “And you must be Inuyasha” looking him over and taking an educated guess. “Yep” said Inuyasha.

 

“This is such a nice hotel, I wonder what one of the rooms looks like” said Kagome out loud. “You'll find out soon enough, I asked your mom to invite you to this party because I wanted to get to know you better, so we rented out a room for you right below mine, you see my room is right up there in the left pillar the entire top floor” said Inuyasha.

 

“Wow, it's so big” said Kagome. “Yeah I guess, but below that is a floor with a bunch of rooms on it, so if you went to your room then went to the elevator you would have to stick in a key or type in a password to get up to my floor, same with my brothers except for his room is on the opposite pillar” said Inuyasha with a smile.

 

“Wow, but that still doesn't explain why you are going to let me stay here in an expensive room free of charge” wondered Kagome. “The reason is simple, I want to get to know you better” said Inuyasha.

 

“I wonder how my father ever ended up working here and my mother too” wonder Kagome. “I don't know about that but your father told my father to get to know you and your family, well he told that to me at about the age of 10 before he died” said Inuyasha with a shrug. “Oh im sorry” said Kagome. “Don't be after you live for 500 years your kind of happy when your time comes” said Inuyasha chuckling a bit.

 

“Really, he was that old” asked Kagome. “Yeah but that's not that old” said Inuyasha.

 

“Wow” said Kagome again. “Yeah but lets not just stand around here we have a party to enjoy” said Inuyasha like he was going to be hanging out with Kagome all night. “Ok” said Kagome as they went to the other side of the entrance where some music was playing. It was Bon Jovi's Have a Nice Day. Kagome knew that song so she started to sing…

“I love that song” said Kagome once it was done. “Me too” said Inuyasha. Again he was leading Kagome somewhere else. He led her to a karaoke stage where someone was singing a song that she didn't know.

 

“You wanna sing something” asked Inuyasha. “Well I don't know I don't normally get up in front of crowds” said Kagome. “Are you sure” asked Inuyasha giving her a puppy face.

 

“Your mom says that you sing really well” said Inuyasha. “Well I do sing in my school choir, but that is pretty much it, well also in the car” said Kagome. “Your sure you don't want to” asked Inuyasha giving her another puppy dog face.

 

“Ok” sighed Kagome. “Great what do you want to sing” asked Inuyasha. “Unwritten” said Kagome happily. “Ok hold on a second” said Inuyasha leading Kagome to the side of the little stage wile Inuyasha got up on it after the other girl was done singing.

 

He whispered something to the DJ and then he picked up a mike and started to talk into it “Good evening everyone, I would like to thank you for coming, im sorry that my brother couldn't be here we had some trouble at another hotel but if possible he will show up later, but to keep you entertained I have asked one of my friends Kagome to sing for you” said Inuyasha pulling Kagome up onstage and handing her the mike.

 

“Knock them dead” Inuyasha whispered in her ear before he got off stage and the music started playing…

After Kagome was done everyone clapped for her as she got off stage.

 

“You really do sing well” said Inuyasha amazed and giving Kagome a hug. “Thanks” said Kagome giving Inuyasha a hug back. “What next” asked Kagome?

 

“Well there is always the food” said Inuyasha. “Ok let's go” said Kagome realizing that this party is nothing she thought it would be. Inuyasha lead Kagome into another room with food. They ate for awhile then decided to do something else.

 

“You know you don't have to hang out with me if you don't want to” said Kagome nicely. “So you're trying to get rid of me” asked Inuyasha playfully. “No im just saying you have all of these other people you don't just have to pay attention to me” said Kagome.

 

“Oh it's ok, there's nothing fun to do with anyone else all they want to do is nonstop talk” said Inuyasha. “Ok” said Kagome. “Here I have to show you something follow me” said Inuyasha leading Kagome to an elevator in the left pillar.

 

They got in and went up to Kagome's room and it actually said guest suite on the door. “This is your room, anytime you don't want to be home just come here you are welcomed anytime, this is officially your room now” said Inuyasha. “Are you serious” asked Kagome. “Yep, you can even set your own password for it” said Inuyasha gesturing over to a keypad by the door knob.
