Ch. 5 A Night At Inuyasha's

 

…Inuyasha sitting on the couch watching TV with his shirt off on the other side of the couch and his shoes off. His feet were propped up on the table in front of his TV, stereo thing. He had his arm holding up his head leaning on the left arm rest of the couch. He had the song `Move Along' blasting on the stereo. It looked like he was sleeping almost well that is until his eyes opened and stared at her. “Hey” was all that he said as he motioned a spot for her next to him on the couch. Kagome wandered over there and sat down.

 

“So whats up” he asked like they were old friend seeing each other for the fist time in four years. “Nothing I was just bored and wanted someone to talk to since Sango and Miroku are let's just say hanging out” said Kagome.

 

“So you wanted to hang out with me” asked Inuyasha. “Yeah pretty much” said Kagome. “Ok then what do you want to do its 10 o'clock” asked Inuyasha. “I don't know what do you want to do” asked Kagome. “You brought your swim suit do you want to go in the hot tub” asked Inuyasha.

 

“Sure you going to come too” asked Kagome. “Yeah sure it you go” said Inuyasha. “Ok where is it again” asked Kagome. “In my room next to the bathroom” said Inuyasha following Kagome in there and searching through the drawers to find some swim trunks that were blood red with flames.

 

Inuyasha quickly changed into them and joined Kagome in the hot tub room. When he entered he found Kagome just looking at the hot tub. “Whats up this time” asked Inuyasha. “It's so big and I don't know how to turn it on” said Kagome.

 

“That's so easy all you have to do is press this button and it heats the water to a certain temperature that is preset, thought if you want you can reset it or a just it to whatever you like” said Inuyasha.

 

“Cool” said Kagome as she started to set it at a temperature that wouldn't burn her. Finally when it was set the hot tub started to fill. When it was full Kagome hopped in and settled in. Inuyasha soon followed after.

 

“So what's up” asked Kagome. “Nothing really when you came in I was just doing something I usually do when I get up here after work, work is all I have no one is ever here to entertain me or nothing I have to do that on my own, and my stupid brother is to stuck up to care” said Inuyasha.

 

“It must get pretty boring around here then when no one is here, if your ever bored just call me and I will come here because I am usually bored at home as it is” said Kagome with a warm smile.

 

“Ok that sounds good, but you know your always welcome here if your bored you get VIP everything and you can always come to me when you need some entertainment since im my own boss I can be called out of work anytime because all I do is sit in my office anyway until a problem comes about” said Inuyasha.

 

“Sounds boring” said Kagome. “Yeah my whole life has been boring all about work and no play I never get out anymore im always stuck in this hotel or another hotel doing work or yelling at someone” said Inuyasha with a sad expression on his face `I've never been this open before whats gotten into me tonight, probably just because I have someone new here and she's fricken HOT' though Inuyasha with a smile. `I don't like that smile on his face' thought Kagome `makes him look to cute' she thought giggling.

 

“So what do you want to do next” asked Inuyasha after a long silence due to the fact that everyone was thinking. “I don't know think of something im out of ideas” said Kagome. “Do you like ice cream” asked Inuyasha.

 

“Yeah why” asked Kagome. “Ok good, let's get out and get changed I have a surprise for you” he said. Kagome got out and followed Inuyasha to his room as he grabbed a pair of brown cargo pants and went into the bathroom to change. When he came out Kagome ran out of words he was so hot it cargo pants and no shirt.

 

“Earth to Kagome are you just going to stand there drooling or are we going to go to your room and let you change or are you going like that” asked Inuyasha.

 

Kagome wiped the drool off her chin and followed Inuyasha out of his room and down the elevator to her room. Kagome went inside and grabbed a black mini skirt and a white frilly shirt. She went into the bathroom and changed into them. When she came out she was about to grab shoes but decided to wear flip flops instead.

 

“Let's go” said Inuyasha after Kagome had finished putting on her flip flops. Kagome followed Inuyasha out the door to the back of the hotel. “Where are we going” asked Kagome. “You'll see” said Inuyasha. Inuyasha pulled Kagome another few feet until they came upon a blood red motorcycle.

 

“Whats this for” asked Kagome pointing to the motorcycle. “Our ride” said Inuyasha sitting on the front of it and patting a spot behind him. “Sit down” said Inuyasha. Kagome obeyed and sat behind him. She held onto his waist and he took off.

 

When Inuyasha finally stopped Kagome didn't want to let go just yet so Inuyasha tapped her on the arm and she didn't move. So Inuyasha turned back to look at her and found that she was staring at his ears.

 

“Yo earth to Kagome” said Inuyasha. “I want to touch them” said Kagome randomly. “No” said Inuyasha. “Why not they look so fluffy and fuzzy” said Kagome. “Because” said Inuyasha trying not to give in `but it feels so good' he thought. “Pleaseeeeeeeeee” begged Kagome giving Inuyasha a puppy face. “Ok, but not now when we get home ok” said Inuyasha.

 

“Fine, where are we” said Kagome looking at the building who's parking lot there were in. “The Ice Cream Palace” said Inuyasha. “Oh that's why you asked me if I liked ice cream” asked Kagome.

 

“Yeah now come on we don't have all night” said Inuyasha pulling Kagome off the motorcycle and dragging her into the ice cream place. He got in line and asked her what she wanted. Kagome said that she wanted a vanilla and chocolate twist, Inuyasha wanted pure chocolate cone.

 

When they finished there cones they went back out to Inuyasha's motorcycle. “Where to next” asked Kagome. “You'll see” said Inuyasha taking off. Soon Kagome was looking upon a park with a crystal clear lake.

 

“Its beautiful Inuyasha” said Kagome hugging him. “Yeah I can actually breath out here I mean in the city or the hotel there is always people smoking or pollution my nose is to sensitive for all that” said Inuyasha.

 

“You poor thing” said Kagome hugging Inuyasha tighter. Inuyasha returned the hug grateful that at least someone wasn't grossed out to hug a half demon. “Hey Kagome it's getting late let's head back” said Inuyasha leading her back over to his motorcycle.

 

“Ok” said Kagome getting on the back. They drove home and arrived at the hotel at 11:46 p.m. `Something's on Kagome's mind I can tell she looks so sad about it thought' thought Inuyasha. `Maybe I should just tell him… no then he would think im a wimp… you are… what… you are a wimp if your gonna act like this just tell him… NO and im not a wimp' thought Kagome as her mind battled her will.

 

“Hey Kagome let's go I'll walk you to your door” said Inuyasha. “Ok thanks by the way” said Kagome. “No problem I needed to get out anyway” said Inuyasha.

 

Inuyasha and Kagome walked up to Kagome's room in silence that is until they got to the door. “Hey Kagome is something wrong” asked Inuyasha smelling the salt of tears starting to form.

 

“Nothings wrong, I had a nice night thanks so much maybe we could do this again sometime” said Kagome not even looking up at Inuyasha instead focusing on opening her room door. When she got it open she walked into her room and shut the door with out another word.

 

`I wonder whats wrong something's wrong I know it and I could smell when she lied to me' thought Inuyasha walking away from her door. He went up the elevator and into his room. He took off his shoes and his shirt. Inuyasha lay down on his couch to think about his night with Kagome.

 

*With Kagome* `Best get out of these clothes' thought Kagome still trying not to cry. Kagome went to her room and changed into her green tank top and green silk sleep pants. Then she laid down on her bed and all of a sudden burst out crying. Kagome couldn't stop the tears just came and came.

 

*With Inuyasha* `What is that Kagome's tears I smell! I knew something was wrong' thought Inuyasha he jumped up and ran out the door without even putting back on his shirt. In a spilt second after getting out of the elevator he got to her door. He knocked and there was no answer.

 

“Kagome open up please you know if I wanted to I could get in” said Inuyasha waiting for an answer. Finally Kagome came and opened up the door not looking at Inuyasha. She went back and sat down on her bed.

 

Inuyasha followed her in there only to see a large box of tissues and a huge pile on the ground with the strong sent of tears mixed with the scent of fear radiating off of Kagome.

 

“Kagome what's wrong” asked Inuyasha as nice a possible. “Please tell me” begged Inuyasha. “Well as long as you promise not to think I was a wimp” said Kagome tears now starting to go away.

 

“Positive I promise I won't” said Inuyasha. “Ok, when my father was alive… or should I say when he died… I was pretty much all alone… except my mom but my father was like my best friend… but whenever we went somewhere new or moved… he would have to sit with me until I fell asleep… see im scared of new places…” said Kagome.
