Chapter1-A Close Call, of Many

30 minutes earlier

“Daddy,” Kagome said with a huge grin on her face. “I want this car!” she pointed to a red Benz convertible with spinners. Kagome strolled over to the car and swung her right leg over the door and her foot landed on the smooth leather seat. “Okay princess, it's all yours.” Her father handed her the keys. “I'm off!” she said as she turned the key ignition and then drove off.

Present moment

As Kagome drove excitedly she sang along with the radio.

“Girl shake that laffy taffy, that laffy taffy, shake that laffy taffy, that laffy taffy, girl shake that laffy taffy, that laffy taffy, that laffy taffy, that laffy taffy. I'm looking for Mrs. Bubblegum. I'm Mr. chik-o-stick. I wanna dun-nu-nu, oh, cuz u so thick. Girls call me jolly rancher cuz I stay so hard you can suck me for a long time oh my god. Girl this ain't no dance flo. It's a candy sto. And I'm really geeked up cuz I got mo dro. I drop, I roll, it's soft, I know. It's the summer time, but yo laffy taffy got me froze. Go get loose, go get low. Don't be shy, hoe I'm Faybo. I know u want a ride cuz u a star and it shows. What happening? What's up, what's up? Let's go, let's go.”

 

Suddenly a car swiveled in front of Kagome's. “OHHH NOOOO!! DADDY HELP!!!!!” She screamed.

Kagome's dad's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. Through my camera, I was watching my daughter's judgment day. “Inuyasha!” I called. “Now!” My palms were sweaty and the muscular teen hopped out of the window to rescue poor Kagome. Please be okay, honey. Just hang on a little longer. I thought.

Back to normal

Kagome twisted and turned her steering wheel, but she couldn't get away. Then her world went black. She fainted from fear.

Several hours later

“C'mon Kagome wake up!” Her father yelled. He shook her softly but she didn't wake up. “Inuyasha,” he called. “Look over her.” And then her father left Inuyasha with Kagome.

Inuyasha sat on the chair beside Kagome's canopy bed and stared at her. She's so beautiful….wait no! I can't forget what happened!

 

Suddenly Kagome's eyelids lifted. She took one look at Inuyasha and her stomach churned.

 

“Your awake.” He said. “You had your father a little worried.” Kagome laughed. “A little? My dad would cry if I broke my nail!” She wasn't kidding. As the president's daughter, Kagome was protected 24/7, 365 days of the year. Whenever something bad looked like it was going to happen to her, she was protected. “Your father wanted me to wait for you to wake up.” Inuyasha said. “Thanks.”
