Miroku tried her cell phone again but it went straight to voicemail. In a way he couldn't be upset with her because she was on a mission of sorts and that couldn't be helped. He couldn't help but get the feeling that these weren't really needed missions. Inuyasha always had the habit of making everyone else get his gifts instead of him getting them himself. All he could do now was wait a little while to call Sango to see if she's going to answer the phone then.

 

 

 

“Wake up Sango we're landing, do you want to go get the box tonight or tomorrow” Ayame asked

 

“Tonight so I can hurry and get home I don't want to stay here any longer than I have to.” Sango yawned waking up.

 

“When can we cut our phones back on I cant stand not having contact with the outside world.” Ayame whined

 

“Soon Ayame have patience.” Sango laughed looking over at the said girl.

 

“I can't have patience like you; people actually call my phone who calls yours” Ayame teased pouting.

 

“Kouga” Sango laughed at ayame's shocked face.

 

 

 

 

“bye sister and try to call every once and awhile it won't kill you to keep in touch” Rin shot over her shoulder.

 

“of course mother” kagome replied sarcastically rolling her eyes. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru nodded their heads at each other and said goodbye. After Inuyasha closed the door he flopped on the couch and turned on the TV.

 

“Inuyasha we should talk.” Kagome sighed sitting across from him

 

“After family guy kags” he said not looking from the TV

 

“No now” kagome said and turned it off. “The way you woke me today and the gift you left was completely immature and disgusting for two people who aren't even dating” kagome said looking at him.

 

“O that's how you see it” he glared at her.

 

 

“You just broke up with Sango, and you weren't even looking for a relationship.” Kagome said her voice rising. “One minute you're all over me the next you're yelling at me” she said throwing her hands up.

 

“Well whose fucking fault is that?” he snapped still glaring “like you haven't had your share of touch me don't touch me, and you've only been here days!” he yelled sitting up in his seat. “Hell you tried to seduce me to get in my fucking gang” he growled.

 

“ that doesn't count I have never had the experience of smelling a scent that appealed to me as much as yours did of course I didn't no how to control myself” kagome screamed back in his face.

 

“Well I guess you cats are all the same, willing to play with any mouse you get your hands on” Inuyasha glared at her. Her mouth fell open in shock and she slapped him as hard as she could. “Fuck you Inuyasha I may be a hanyou looking for a love, but I am no neko-youkai whore and you will not sit in my face and call me one!” kagome screamed her glare hard. She stormed into her room and slammed the door not even bothering to lock it she started packing her things.

 

 

 

`Did I really just say that to her' Inuyasha thought to himself. He always managed to say things that he didn't mean and he had to admit what he said was pretty low. He thought he'd give her some time to cool down but thought against it when he thought about what she could be doing in her room. He slowly walked down her hall listening to what she could have possibly been doing before gently tapping on the door. “Kagome, may I come in” he calmly said through the door. “What the hell do you want Inuyasha because I have nothing to say to you?” kagome snapped not opening the door.

 

“Look I want to apologize for what I said; it was untrue and should have never left my mouth.” Inuyasha sighed leaning his head against the door. “Please open the door so I can talk to you” Inuyasha sighed again banging his head against the door. Slowly the door creaked open but he was met with darkness. `Thank god for my eyesight' he thought pushing pass the door. He didn't cut on the light he just sat on the bed looking back at her.

 

“I didn't mean what I said” he whispered his head in his hands. “That was just stupid I was angry and not thinking about what I was saying.” Inuyasha sighed looking up at her.

 

“I think it be best if I went ahead and stayed in ayame's apartment.” Kagome whispered.

 

“Please let's get on good terms before you decide that” Inuyasha said watching her.

 

“You called me a whore. Tell me Inuyasha is that why you were so eager to let me stay with you?” kagome growled.

 

“Hell you're the one who didn't want to stay alone.” Inuyasha snapped. Kagome didn't respond she zipped up her bag and headed towards the door.

 

“Kagome stop okay, I don't want you to go.” Inuyasha sighed. “I don't know what you want me to say, I know that I have been wishy washy but I don't want to rush into anything again, I want to make sure this is for real, what do I look like getting into another relationship realizing it isn't real and then crushing your heart like I did Sango” Inuyasha whispered looking up at her.

 

“But I know this is real Inuyasha I know it is because I've never had this feeling before I met you” kagome begged watching him. “Look please understand that I do need to leave to get a whole understanding of things ok” kagome sighed opening the door and leaving.

 

 

 

 

 

Kagome put her stuff down in ayame's apartment and left again. She didn't want to be left in the room with silence to think; right now that wasn't a good choice. She decided to take a walk instead and just feel the fresh air. `Am I making the right decision?' she asked herself. Things were moving differently then she had anticipated, she decided while sitting on a park bench that she wouldn't pursue Inuyasha anymore, that what ever was suppose to happen would happen. She smiled and turned to walk back to the apartment complex afraid of another episode like the other day happening.

“Excuse me ms?”

 

 

 

 

Kouga jumped up when he smelled the scent of the female that was lying in Inuyasha's bed. He snuck behind the tree and waited for her to arrive, at the seat he was just vacating. She sat down and it looked like she was thinking about something. She didn't stay seated long , and that's what scared him. He was hoping that she would stay for awhile so he could make his entrance, when she started to get up he spoke.

“Excuse me ms?” He asked. She turned and smiled.

 

“Yes?” she asked looking him up and down.

 

“I was just admiring you from the trail I was walking and noticed you were kind of lonely.” Kouga smiled bowing.

 

“Thanks for thinking of me, what's your name” kagome laughed.

 

“Kouga and I would love to take you to the hotdog stand not to far from here and get something to eat or drink.” Kouga smiled.

 

“Well Kouga I wouldn't mind that at all, can I trust you not to do anything.” Kagome raised an eyebrow.

 

“You can trust me to do anything you want me to.” He smirked and started walking.

 

“It's rude not to wait for the person you invited!” kagome giggled jogging after him. `I've found someone else who accepts me the way I am.'

 

 

 

Inuyasha broke another mirror in his room. He was beyond pissed. She was supposed to listen to him when he said not to leave, how dare she not obey him. He sighed `this is so hard.' He thought running his hands through his hair. He decided that he needed a run, a long run. When he started out of the complex he realized that kagome didn't just go to ayame's apartment, she had left the complex. He decided then that he'd better go find her before she ended up panicking again. He followed her scent to the park and his eyes flashed red. `That's my bitch' he growled running towards them.

 

“How much further is this stand” kagome asked looking behind her. When she didn't get an answer she turned around and gasped. Inuyasha was holding a kicking Kouga by the neck. “Inuyasha put him down!” Kagome snapped pulling on his arm. “Mine!” Inuyasha snapped showing his enhanced fangs. “Alright you stupid mutt we were just going to eat.” Kouga gasped scratching at Inuyasha's claws.

 

“Alright Inuyasha, alright come on let him go lets go home.” Kagome softly spoke to the enraged demon. He glanced at her then back to Kouga. “Give me one good reason why I should put up with your shit.” He growled his voice sounding deep and husky. Kagome lost her point of focus for a minute and really looked at Inuyasha she couldn't say this side of him wasn't sexy. She couldn't help the nasty thoughts she got while watching him and not really realizing it, she let her aroused scent meet his nose. He took a back glance at her and smirked. He licked his lips and throw Kouga across the field. He then turned and in a flash had kagome and himself standing outside hid apartment door. He stuck his nose in her neck and took a long sniff before licking her neck.

 

“Tonight you are mine” he growled his eyes glowing brighter.
