Chapter One: Witches

Sango and Kagome ended up in the bottom of the well in the future. Sango looked up, puzzled.

“Is there a roof over the well?” Kagome laughed at her question.

“Yeah. The well is sortuva monument in the shrine, so in order to keep rain out, they built a wellhouse over it.”

While Kagome was explaining about the well, they made their way to the top. Kagome stopped at the door of the well house and turned to Sango.

“Things have changed a lot in the past 500 years. Brace yourself.”

Kagome opened the doors to the wellhouse and Sango's jaw detatched from her mouth.

Kagome giggled at her and led her into the house. Sango was so amazed that she didn't notice.

Kagome led Sango into the living room. “Just sit here and I'll go find my mom.” Sango nodded her head dumbly.

Kagome walked into the kitchen and noticed a note on the door of the refrigerator.

Kagome-

We are visiting your aunt Kairi in China and we won't be back for a couple months. Have fun in the Sengoku Jidai!

P.S. Tell Inuyasha to be a good puppy!

Kagome's eyes teared up at the mention of Inuyasha, but she quickly blinked them down.

She walked back into the living room to find Sango with her face plastered to the t.v. watching an american show called Full House.

Kagome tapped her on the shoulder. Sango turned and looked at her in amazement.

Kagome laughed at her expression. “C'mon. I'm going to take you shopping for some clothes at the mall.”

Sango stood up and tried to maintain her dignity. “What's a mall?”

Kagome laughed again. “I'll explain to you on the way.”

Meanwhile/ San Fransisco,CA

Piper put up her hands and watched as the lower level demon that attacked her exploded.

“I am sick of killing demons in my kitchen!”

Pheobe and Paige just let her vent. Suddenly Leo looked up at the ceiling.

He turned to the girls. “I have to go see the Elders, they want something important.” And orbed out to the San Fransisco bridge.

“Leo.” One of the Elders started.

“We have found two witches with a power in them that could easily surpass that of the Charmed ones.”

Leo was shocked.

“How could they have so much power. Are they sisters?”

The Elders didn't show it, but they were just as shocked as him.

“No. They aren't related but we sensed a great deal of power emenating from them.

They could be an important asset in vanquishing the source, with the proper training.”

“Is this the first time you've felt their power?”

“No. We've felt one of the witches power on and off for a straight year, but it seemed to disapeer very often.

This is the first time we've felt the presence of the second witch. Leo, we need you to go get these witches. They need training.”

“Who is going to train them?” The elders looked at eachother.

“The charmed ones.” Leo grimaced. `Piper is not going to like this.'

“Where are the witches and what are their names?”

“They are in Tokyo, Japan. We only know one witches name. Kagome Higurashi.”

Back in Tokyo (After they went shopping)

Kagome and Sango, being exhausted, keeled over on the couch.

Sango got a whole wardrobe full of clothes and Kagome got a couple outfits.

Sango was currently sporting baggy tan cargo pants and a tight pink tank top.

Kagome was wearing some black khakis and a white wife beater with a silver skull on it

. While they were out shopping, Kagome had explained almost every single question Sango had about her time and she knew just a bout everything.

They were currently watching Family Guy (A/N: I love that show!!!!… hehehehehe…Peter's funny.)

When Kagome felt a presence in the kitchen. Sango felt it too and followed Kagome in there.

They watched in amazement when a man with sandy bonde hair and green eyes appeared out of a white-blue shimmer.

Kagome grabbed a kitchen knife off the table and pointed it to the man.

“Who are you? I know your not a demon because your aura isn't evil.” Leo was shocked.

`This girl can't be more than 17 years old. How could she know about demons when she doesn't even know she's a witch.'

Leo noticed the other girl and assumed she was the second witch.

Sango had already gone into the living room and gotten Hiraikotsu. Leo put his hands up in defense.

“Can you put down the knife? I'm not going to hurt you.”

Kagome and Sango glanced at eachother before putting their current weapons down.

“Good. Now can we sit down and have a civilized talk.

I'm sorry I had to burst in like this, but I've never been to Tokyo and I didn't know how else to orb here.”

Kagome led him into the living room and sat down on the couch while Sango sat next to her and Leo sat on a recliner.

“Go on. I would like to know why you `orbed'” Kagome made air quotes with her fingers. “Into my mother's kitchen.”

Leo took a deep breath. “My name is Leo. I'm a white-lighter who was sent here by the elders.”

Kagome and Sango gave him puzzled looks.

“A white-lighter is sortuva gaurdian angel and the elders are my bosses.

Anyway, the elders said that they sensed the presence of two very powerful witches over here that weren't trained.

That is unusual because usualy witches are trained at birth.

I was sent here to take you both back to San Fransisco,California to be trained by the three most powerful witches known as the charmed ones.

I happen to be married to one of them. We need you two to be trained so that you can help us defeat the Source.” Leo took a breath.

Kagome and Sango just sat there and took in all the information. Sango spoke up. “What's a `Source?'”

“The Source is the center of all evil.

Usualy there is only one source, but we haver two.

These two sources are unlike most demons.

They aren't greedy and they share their power together.

They are also both half-demons.” Kagome and Sango gasped.

Kagome blinked her eyes a fe times to hold ack her tears. “half… (gulp)… demons?”

Leo blinked in confusion.

“Yeah. Half-demons are-“ Kagome cut him off.

“I know what half-demons are!” She snapped.

She quickly realized what she did and apologized.

“I'm so sorry! I don't know what came over me. I've had a bad… experience with half-demons.”

Leo looked at her with a weird expression for a moment before pulling himself together.

“So… Can we be on our way.?”

“I have to write a note for my mom first. She's visiting my aunt in China.”

Kagome pulled out a notepad and wrote a note explaining everything.

Leo held out his hands to Sango and Kagome.

“I can orb you two out of here if your touching some part of my body.”

Sango stood up with Kagome and called Kirara.

“Kirara!”

The twotailed fire cat ran downstairs from Kagome's room.

Leo jumped a bit. “What is that?!”

Kagome laughed.

“You talk so much about demons, yet you know so little.

This is a fire cat demon that Sango and I use to travel around with in the Sengo..ku…”

Kagome cut herself off. `Dammit. I almost gave me and Sango away.'

Leo shook his head at their strangeness.

“So, you two ready to go?”

“We have to pack our stuff first. We're going to be at your house for a while aren't we?”

Kagome went up stairs and got her bow and arrows and put her clothes together.

Sango didn't need to gather anything because her clothes were already in the shopping bags from that morning.

Leo was a bit shocked when Kagome came downstairs weeilding a bow and arrow but it quickly passed.

He was even more shocked at Sango's haraikotsu.

“Where did you get a weapon like that?”

“The Haraikotsu? I got it in my village. I am one of their best demon exterminaters.”

“O….K….. Now are you guys ready to go?”

Kagome and Sango snorted at his impatience.

“Yeah, Yeah. Quit complaining Mr. white-lighter.”

Kagome and Sango took hold of his hand as he shimmered out of Kagome's house.

Kagome and Sango felt as if they weighed nothing when suddenly the feeling stopped.

They opened their eyes and they were in front of a three story brick house. Leo let go of their hands.

“Here we are. The manor.

Now just so you don't get confused, The one with the long brown hair is my wife, Piper, The one with the short, curly, dark brown hair is Pheobe.

And the one with the red hair is Paige.

Don't worry, I already explained to them about you two. Piper got so mad she tried to kill the elders, but at least I told her.”

He led them up the steps and opened the door to his house.

“Piper, Pheobe, Paige! The new witches are here!” Leo yelled out. Kagome arched an eyebrow at him.

“We have names. Mine is Kagome, and she is Sango.”

Kagome said. Suddenly three girls walked downstairs from upstairs.

Kagome and Sango assumed that they were the `Charmed Ones' because of how Leo described them.

Paige stuck out her hand for Kagome and Sango to shake it.

“Hi. I'm Paige. Their Piper and Pheobe.” Kagome and Sango smiled at her and shook her hand. Sango spoke up.

“Uh.. Hi, I'm Sango and She's Kagome.”

Kirara mewed at her. “I Didn't forget you. This is my fire cat demon, Kirara.”

Kirara jumped up on Sango's shoulder and mewed cutely.

“Awww.” Piper, Pheobe and Paige said in unison.

“I didn't know demons could be so cute.” Pheobe said.

Kagome smiled at her. “Yeah, I know. So all of you have P's in your name? That's cool. All the girls in my family have K's.

My mom is a Keiko, My grandma is a Kara, and my aunt is a Kairi.”

Soon they got all the introductions done and started chatting in the living room.

Pheobe started up. “So are you two related.?” Then she started absent mindedly running her fingers through Kirara's fur.

“No. Sango and I are best friends.”

“So how did you get Kirara?” Kirara mewed at the sound of her name and jumped into Piper's lap.

Piper smiled and rubbed the Fire-neko's ears.

“My father gave her to me when I was little.” Sango explained

“How old are you girls. You can't be more than 17. That's a little young to be dealing with demons.”

Paige joined in on petting Kirara and the cat mewed happily at the attention she was getting from the three sisters.

“I am 15 and Sango is 16.”

“Whoa. So do you know your powers yet?”

Kagome and Sango looked like they were thinking about it for a moment.

Sango started. “I didn't even know I was a witch until today.

I don't know what kind of powers I could have.” They turned to look at Kagome.

“I am a shinto Priestess so I can shoot sacred arrows and purify lower level demons, but I don't think those are witch powers.

What can you guys do?” Piper smirked.

“Do you want a demonstration?” Leo paniced.

“No piper don't do it!” It was too late.

Piper held up her hands in front of Leo and he instantly froze. She held her hands up again and he blew up, but he instantly rematerialized.

Kagome clapped her hands. “That was awesome.

I hope I have powers like that. So you can freeze and blow up things?”

Pipewr nodded her head. “Yeah, basically.”

Paige held up her hand in a child-like manner.

“Me next! Me next!” Paige looked at Kagome's bow and held up her hand.

“Bow.” The bow had a shimmer around it for a moment before it stopped.

Paige was shocked.

“My powers didn't affect your bow. Piper can you freeze her?” Piper held up her hands at Kagome but it didn't do anything.

“Maybe this is one of your powers. Our powers don't affect you. Let's see if Pheobe can get a preminition from you.”

Pheobe took a hold of Kagome's hand and her eyes instantly went blank.

Premintion

Kagome is being kissed passionately by a white haired demon with dog-ears and amber eyes,

When they broke the kiss, they looked into eachother's eyes.

“I love you Kagome.”He said as his hand grazed her cheek lovingly

“I love you, too Inuyasha.” Inuyasha smiled a wide grin and picked her up by her waist and twirled her around

End Preminition

Pheobe let go of her hand and collapsed on the couch.

Piper and Paige took her hand.

“What did you see?” Pheobe looked at Kagome.

“Kagome making out with someone.” Paige and Piper smirked over at the blushing Kagome.

Kagome looked into Pheobe's eyes.

“Who was I making out with?” Pheobe answered her in a small voice that everyone could hardly understand.

“The source.” The room went quiet.
