I don't own Inu-yasha or anything in relation. BTW this has turned into a Inu/FLCL crossover. Youll know it when you see it. :)

 

 

"WHAT!" screamed Kagome as she looked at her mother then back at her friends who were staring at her? "What am I going to do," Kagome thought to herself. There was really only one solution and despite that she didn't like it Kagome did it anyway.

 

"You guys have got to go...NOW!!"

 

Inu-yasha walks straight over to Kagomes and pokes her in the head. "Is there something wrong with you? You drag us all the way here then send us home after like ten minutes."

 

"SIT!" Inu-yasha sucks in dirt as he hits the ground and then lays there coughing. Kagome tried to explain to the rest of them what was happening. "Look my friends from this era are on their way here right now. If you guys don't get out of here then they will all find out my secret.

 

It was Sango who understood first. "Its okay kagome well be fine. We don't mind going home right Miroku." As she said this she nudged him in the side and instantly he knew what she meant.

 

"Yeah its fine." said Miroku. "At least we met your mom" Miroku looked around and tried to find everyone. Then he turned back to Kagome.

 

"Where's lady Kaeda?"

 

Kaeda wondered around the shrine looking at things. She came to a stop when she saw a man standing and looking at the sacred tree. The same one the Inu-yasha had been bound to. There was an old man dressed in monk attire staring at it. Kaeda approached him from behind.

 

“It's truly a thing of beauty.” The old man flipped out over the unknown voice coming from behind him.

 

“Who are you?”

 

“I am Kaeda and you are.”

 

“I'm Jii the caretaker of this shrine.”

 

“Grandpa!” The Jii and Kaeda turned to see Kagome running towards them.

 

“Oh Kagome when did you get home?” Kagome shot her grandpa a nasty look.

 

“You would know if you ever paid attention. She then turned to Kaeda. “Kaeda we have to go. I don't have time to explain but you guys have to go back to your own time.

 

Kaeda nodded. “Its okay.” She then turned to Jii. “It was nice to meet you Jii.” Then her and Kagome turn and walk back to the well leaving Jii standing there scratching his head.

 

As soon as Kagome and Kaeda returned to the well Inu-yasha pulled Kagome to the side.

 

“We have a slight problem Kagome.”

 

“Kagome who was to busy trying to get everyone to tie the rope around their waists wasn't really paying attention. “What is it Inu-yasha?'

 

“Umm I don't know how to say this but the wells not working.” Instantly Kagome stopped and turned to look at him.

 

“What..?”

 

“I tried to go through to make sure it was safe but when I jumped in nothing happened.” Kagome looked serious then started to laugh. Inu-yasha thought she lost.

 

“That's good Inu-yasha. That's funny. You had me going for a second.” She turned to the others who got tied together. “Okay Ill go first then you guys follow me.” She turned and walked into the well shrine. Inu-yasha tried to stop her but the line around his waist went taught and he snapped back. Kagome jumped over the edge and into the well. Nothing happened.

 

She climbed back out then jumped back in. Again nothing no flashes of light no nothing. She climbed out and walked over to Inu-yasha. “Why isn't it working?”

 

“I don't know you're the one with the jewel.” Kagomes eyes suddenly went wide. The chain she had the completed shikon jewel on felt really light. She pulled it out to find the jewel gone.

 

“Where did it go?' Just then Kagomes face went pale white.

 

“Kagome!” She turned her head to see Hojo and her friends coming into the shrine. Oh no she thought.
