Chapter 7: My Sister's Sins

Kagome looked to Sango and without a word moved with unnatural speed to Kikyo. Kikyo jumped back as she saw Kagome, a slight fear glinted her eyes. Kagome's voice was cool and collected as she spoke.

"Hello Kikyo."

Kikyo stammered over her words for a second before gaining her composer again. Her eyes became a cold, dull brown.

"Hello Kagome, he has been looking for you."

Kagome felt a bit of fear flood through her. Though she may have escaped Naraka that did not mean she did not fear him. She would always hate him for killing her parents in front of her while her maniacal older sister watched with a smug smile on her face.

*Flash Back*

A ten year old Kagome pleaded with Naraku on her hands and knees. Her face was stained with blood from her body gaurds that had tried to protect her and trained down her face with hot tears.

"Please! Just don't hurt them!"

Naraku laughed at her pleading. He was emensely pleased.

"Kukukuku, your sister wants them dead."

With that Naraku slit both her mother's and father's throats. Kagome watched in horror as their eyes lost all life and their bodies hit the floor with a dull thud. She such as she suppressed sobs. Her bangs covered her eyes from those who dare to look.

"No, I will avenge you. I love you my parents."

She whispered to herself and prayed for her parents' souls. Kagome looked up as she heard a soft but evil chuckle in a very familiar voice. Kikyo was laughing. This was the first time Kagome had tasted hate and it was strongest when she looked at her sister.

*End Flash Back*

Her eyes flashed in anger and hate. Kagome's eyes began to bleed red. She hissed menacingly.

"I told you Kikyo that I never wanted to see you again. You my sister betrayed our family and kingdom, how dare you stand before me and talk to me as if you are my equal."

Kagome's usually deceptively cheerful and warm voice was void of emotion and cold. Sango watched from her spot in front of Sess and Miroku. She too remembered her parent's and little brother's death.

*Flash Back*

Sango ran through the house at top speed with her brother tucked in her arms. She looked back as she heard blood curding screams, she knew it was her mother and father. Just seconds before they had told her to run for it and not to come back for them. Naraku had just arrived at their home. She wipped away her tears with the back of her hand and ran faster.

"I do this for you Kohaku."

She ran through a door that lead to the dungeons and slipped past fighters, both from her palace and those who worked for Naraku. Sango ran blinded as blood sprayed everywhere. Suddenly she bumped into what felt like a brink wall to her small body. She fell back and twisted so all of the impact was on her own body. Quickly checking the sleeping 3 year old Sango then looked above her and there stood Naraku. Sango steeled her eyes and placed Kohaku behind her, slipping into a fighting stance and pushing her fear to the back of her mind she attacked him. It wasn't long before she had her hands pinned behind her back and Naraku held her still to watch as he ordered the wild animals he had brought with him to dispose of her brother. His screams echoed in her ears. Sango struggled and howled in grief, dread.

"Kohaku!!!!!! Noooooo!!"

*End Flash Back*

Kagome had Kikyo up by her neck a hiss emanating from her throat. Her dull brown eyes bore into Kagome's lively blue orbs. Kikyo spoke calmly.

"You don't scare me Kagome. I am more powerful."

Kagome only choked on a laugh along with Sango. Sango's voice grew cold when she directed her words to Kikyo.

"She should slick your throat right here and now…"

Before she could finish her statement Inuyasha barged into the space.

"Wench out Kikyo down!!!" `Damn, she's gonna ruin what I have. I want her but she's hooked on Sesshoumaru.'

Kagome threw a cross look over her shoulder.

"Shut up Inuyasha before I hurt you."

Inuyasha's eyes widened.

"BITCH who do you think you a…"

Right before he could finish his rant he found himself almost kissing Sesshoumaru's feet.

"You'll do well to watch your mouth when speak to my girl half-brother."

Sesshoumaru glared angrily at Inuyasha for his ignorance and lack of control. Inuyasha glared back and humphed loudly snatching Kikyo from Kagome and dragging her into the crowd. Kagome smirked.

`I will find you my sister and when I do you will be sorry.'
