Heart's Confession

AN: Again another 2 months and I'm back. I'm trying to update all my fics so I can take a break for a while. So expect all my stories to be updated and then wait another 2-3 months before I can get down to writing again.
Hearts...Chapter 3
Last Time...

Inu-yasha ran as fast as his legs would take him, it was times like these that he wished he were a full Youkai. *Hold on Kagome I'm coming* he thought. Inu-yasha stopped when someone very familiar stood in his way. "Kikyou!" he said. "Inu-yasha" she said. "Where is Naraku's castle?" asked Inu-yasha. "Naraku's castle? How would I know?" she asked. "Kikyou don't play with me, I know you were in on the whole kidnap Kagome plan," he said. Kikyou laughed like a maniac. "So what do you plan to do about it?" she asked. Inu-yasha felt like he was a little kid with a big Youkai bullying him around. "Kikyou!" he growled.

"Kikyou! Get out of my way" stated Inu-yasha. She just smiled and walked slowly towards Inu-yasha. "Do you want to know something Inu-yasha? Men are all the same one minute they are protecting you and the next they are off with another woman. It a sham really" stated Kikyou. Inu-yasha smirked and stood with his hand still on the Tetsusaiga. "I would love to sit here and listen to all your man trouble but I have someone to save," he said. "Playing hero are we? You were always acting like the hero; next to me you never really did get any attention, but with this new wrench you get plenty of that" said Kikyou. Inu-yasha gritted him teeth. "You wanna the truth Kikyou? Kagome isn't like you, she did look to be the hero, he doesn't let me be the hero because she wants me to think she needs, but because she really does, and you want to know something she's warm, she doesn't run from her problems nor does she be come the work" said Inu-yasha. Kikyou glared and clapped. "I have to give her credit for one thing; she did teach you some manners" stated Kikyou. Inu-yasha groaned. "Kikyou get out of way, I don't have the time for your 'embracing death together' crap today I have to save Kagome" said Inu-yasha. "What makes you think she needs to be saved?" she asked. Inu-yasha had a questioning look on his face.
"She doesn't need you Inu-yasha, to be honest with you Inu-yasha they just keep around for protection anyway, I mean you are of some use, the monk just wants to fix his right hand, and the demon slayer revenge for her brother, and the girl she for the shards" said Kikyou. Inu-yasha stood still his bangs covering his face. "You wanna know something Kikyou, I never felt like I belonged, not even when I was with you. But with Kagome and the others I don't feel lonely, they became a part of me, and you can't change that. Your words are like the dirt you are," said Inu-yasha starting to walk away. "It's actually sort of a funny tragedy that you and I are, I have always wanted to hear you something like that. I found myself wishing to change your mind about the world, yet 50 years later here you are just the way I wanted you yet it wasn't I who helped you make you" she said. Inu-yasha stopped. "It's just bad we didn't realize things that matter sooner, then none of this would be happening right now, actually Kikyou I'm happy that things didn't work out cause if it did you and I would both be living a lie" he said before he was off again. She stood the breeze moving around her. "I suppose you are right Inu-yasha, though your heart has always been there, I wasn't the one it picked" she said as she walked away slowly. *It's too bad Kikyou that you don't see it, Kagome is the part of you that I fell in love with, and you are the part that you always were* he thought as he run towards Kagome's rising scent.
Kagome sat with her head in her hand for a while, she had been crying for a while now. "If I was home, I would be with Rika, and Natsuki; even being with Hojou would be better" she whispered. "Oh mom, Sota, grandpa I miss you guys so much," said Kagome as unshed tears threatened to come out. "Who is Sota?" asked Naraku. Kagome glared at him. "My little brother" she said her face frowning. "Why does ye travel to the past to help Inu-yasha?" asked Naraku. Kagome looked at Naraku for a second and she found herself smile. "I come because I like it here, when you have a home that grows on you; you come back to it, because its filled with loved ones; people who you can't seem to stop thinking about and wanting to see" she said. Naraku tried to make sense of the look on her face; she had his happy and peaceful look on her face. "I love those people and I come back to see them; it was never really for the shards, but the people that touched my heart" said Kagome. "But what use do you have of a heart that makes you weak?" asked Naraku. Kagome looked at him and smiled one of her best. "But what would you be without it?" she asked. He let lose a silent gasp, was he understanding this right? If you didn't have a heart then you would be nothing without it? But that made no sense.
"You constantly want to break the part of you that can change you, because it frightens you, and your afraid one of these days your going to give into those feelings and emotions locked with in" said Kagome as she started to smile with a revolution. "That's it isn't it? That's why you made Kagura, Kanna, and all of those parts of you," said Kagome. Naraku glared and snarled at her. Kagome started to laugh softly. "Funny how your most strongest points make you so stupid, yet so smart" she said. Naraku watched her face in a deep smile, her eyes shinning and her small full lips trembling in mirth. She was stunningly beautiful, but her face was different of that of Kikyou, it was happy and warm, and she seems to be honest with her feelings. Unlike Kikyou who sought freedom by giving him false hope of love. No this girl was nothing like Kikyou. Kagome watched him watch her intently, every second that passed she felt more and more afraid that she was going deeper into a whole. Kagome sighed. *Inu-yasha you moron come on* she thought. Naraku stood and walked up to her and sat down in front of her. Kagome was startled at first but then she relaxed just sort of trying to make herself brave.
Inu-yasha rushed towards where he could smell Kagome's tears. He closed his eyes as images passed through his head. "Hold on Kagome, I'm not going to let this bastard use you like a puppet!" he said. *But isn't that how you treat her?* his mind asked him. "No...damn it!" said Inu-yasha for both because from his answer and for the figure standing in front of him. "What the hell is it with you bastards today? I mean first you kidnap Kagome, and now your making fucken hard for me to rescue her!" he yelled. The woman smiled. "Tell me Inu-yasha what does this Human girl mean to you? She isn't Kikyou, and your feeling for Kikyou is very clear" said that same annoying voice they met at Naraku's last castle. "Kagura! Get the hella out of my way" he said. "Come now Inu-yasha tell me" said Kagura. "I'll tell you when I kill you" he said running forward. Kagura smiled. *Inu-yasha you're a fool; you walked right into what I hap planned for you* Kagura thought.
Kagome felt nervous as the most feared Demon came close to her. Naraku himself didn't know what exactly he was doing, but he wanted to experiment with what she had said. He took hold of her face. "Hey! What are you doing?!" asked Kagome trying to strain out of his reach. He noted how soft and flawless her skin was. "Interesting" he stated. He felt his heart beat against his chest; abnormal as he was that was a very big deal. Naraku took one look at her face, before pulling her face towards his and capturing her lips with his. Noting on how soft they were. As Kagome was fighting to push him away and recover from her shock. He was pushing hard to get him to leave her mouth but he just kept on, she felt like crying, this wasn't suppose to happen! Her first kiss belonged to Inu-yasha, not this creep! Naraku how ever was very much enjoying his experiment.
Kagura let Inu-yasha through the portal that she and Kanna created and his ass went flying into the room that Naraku and Kagome sat. Inu-yasha looked up and almost fainted. There was Naraku kissing Kagome. Kagome. His Kagome. Inu-yasha stood and found his blood boil. "NARAKU! BASTARD!"
