HEY I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY FOR THE WAIT!!!!!! BUT IVE HAD TO STUDY FOR EXAMS, they aren't until next week but I got a little free time right now so yeah. This will be my last update for awhile. I am SOOOOOOoo sorry!!!!!!!!! *dodges frying pan* oh yea! And im making a slight change! Kagomes sword is going to be called Heruken, meaning Hell Blade. Chapter 5 (I think anyway lol)

 

 

“sssshhhhh” Kagome held her finger to her lips. “be quiet or we'll get caught!”

 

Kagome and inuyasha were sneaking through the school halls trying not to get caught sneaking off. Usually they wouldent give a damn, but kagome didn't want to be suspended again and inuyasha didn't want to be shipped off.

 

“I am bitch!” inuyasha whispered rather loudly. “errr what have I told you about that! I may be a dog but im not claimed!!!” Kagome growled `not yet' thought inuyasha.

 

“FREEZE YOU TWO!” a teacher walking through the halls shouted. “ahh damn! Now you've done it dog-boy!” “hey you're a dog too!” inuyasha pointed out to her before realizing she wasn't there. He looked around and saw her ahead of him, making a break for the door. “HEY!” inuyasha shouted as he ran after her. “COME BACK HERE SO I CAN SUSPEND YOU!” yelled the teacher. “HA yeah right!” kagome shouted back as she made it out the door shortly followed by inu.

 

The teacher ran after them. They ran to their bikes and jumped on them, started them up, and they left the teacher in the dust, literally.

 

Kagome got in the lead on her bike and she started to head for the mall. Inuyasha followed.

 

As they got there they parked. It wasn't to crowded, considering that all of the teens were in school.

 

“hahahahahahaha did you see the look on his face!” kagome laughed. “hahahaha yeah it was priceless!” inuyasha exclaimed. Once they got their breathing under control they headed inside. “sooooooooo why did we come here?” inuyasha asked. “ I dunno. I felt like it” Kagome replyed.

 

“lets go get something to eat! Im starved!” inuyasha ordered rather than asked. ”I could go for a bite.” Kagome said.

 

They went to the food court and got some ramen. “I LOVE THIS STUFF!” they exclaimed at the same time. They looked at eachother and laughed. `why am I so comfortable around him. I haven't been this way with a guy since………..NO! don't think about that, you're here having a good time with inuyasha. Don't think of things that will make you sad.' Kagome thought. Inuyasha sensed her get sad for a moment and asked “hey kags? Are you ok?” he had a concerned look in his eyes. “yea im fine. I just remembered I forgot chopsticks! Be right back!” she laughed trying to cover up for her moment of sadness. Inuyasha was able to sense she was liying and even if he wasn't he would be able to tell, but he would let it slide………………………… ……………..for now.

 

When kagome got back with her Chopsticks they started to talk about anything and everything. Kagome started to wonder why she was so relaxed around him again. She hasn't ever been like this with a guy unless it was miroku. But she decided not to dwell on it right now.

 

After they finished their ramen they decided to go to the park. They went and got on their bikes and left.

 

They arrived at the park and parked. It was a beautiful day. There was a lake at the park and the sun was shining just right for the water to sparkle. There were a few swings and slides, and trees. All in all it was beautiful.

 

They started to walk on the little trail that went around the lake. There wasn't anyone there so they had it all to themselves. They walked in a comfortable silence. Neither said a word, they didn't have to.

 

All of the sudden Kagome slipped on a rock and started to fall forwards. She knew that a small fall wouldnt hurt her so she just braced herself for impact when all of the sudden two strong arms were around her. She opened her eyes and blue eyes met the concerned gold eyes of inuyasha.

 

As she stared into his molten eyes she felt safe, like they were in a world made up of just them. It was like time froze as she stared into the molten depths. It was the same way for inuyasha. Slowly without even realizing it they were leaning closer, and closer, and just when their lips were about to meet, Kagomes cell phone rang. The trance they had put themselves in was broken and they realized how close they were and blushed. Kagome pulled out of inus grip and pulled her cell out.

 

“kag here” she answered in a pisses off voice. It was sango “where the hell are you!” Kagome sighed “im ok sango, me and inuyasha just skipped. we're at the park. “oh. Well you should have told someone Kagome! I thought that…..well you know.” “yeah I know sango, don't worry im fine.” “im not worried about you, I was just gonna call and ask if I could have your bike if you die” “oh wow im really glad to see how much you care” kagome said sarcastically. “haha, im jokin kags, well ill let you get back to your date” “its NOT a date” kagome said while turning even more red than she already was. “hahahaha suuuuuuuuuuuure kags, whatever you say” and before kagome could respond she hung up.

 

Kagome started mumbling and cursing at sango, inuyasha was wondering how someone could fit all of those curse words into one sentence, and if some of them were even words.

 

“well come on, we better go.” Kagome said and started to walk off. “oh no you don't!” inuyasha said grabbing her “huh? What are you….” Inuyasha then kissed her. It wasn't a rough kiss, it was sweet and gentle. He was giving her the chance to pull away if she wanted. But he hoped she didn't, he didn't think he could take it if she did.

 

And she didn't disappoint. She kissed him back after getting over the shock. Slowly inuyasha deepened it, licking her lip for entrance, which of coarse she granted. Inuyashas tounge darted into her mouth tasting every bit of it he could, her taste was addicting. Slowly she started to respond with her own tounge and then the fight was on. Their tounges collided in a battle for dominance which neither could win. After awhile though, they needed to breathe. So they pulled away panting.

 

They stared into eachothers eyes. To inuyasha, kagome's taste was like a drug, one in which he would give anything for more. Just staring at her wasn't enough, he needed to taste her again. And he did. He kissed her again Wrapping his arms around her slender waist and molding her to his body. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck and relished in the kiss. They broke apart again, and inuyasha rested his forehead on hers, panting.

 

“wow” kagome panted. “wow” inuyasha agreed. As Kagome stared into his eyes she knew, that if she stayed around him like this, she was going to fall for him, hell she was already starting to. and for some reason, she didn't care, she WANTED to fall for him, all thoughts of naraku left her mind, for once she felt as if she COULD let her barrier down and let him in. She wanted to be held in his embrace forever.

 

Inuyasha was feeling the same way. He knew he may not have known her for long, but he was slowly falling for her. And he was fine with that, after all, she was going to be his mate. She just didn't know it yet. That was something he needed to discuss with her.

 

“kagome, I need to talk to you.” Inuyasha said. “ok inuyasha” kagome agreed. He walked her over to the swings and she sat down in one and he sat in the one beside her.

 

He took a deep breath “kagome im not sure how to tell you this but, you know how male dog demons can smell three scents on their mates? And that's how they know who is meant to be with them?” “yes” kagome said afraid that he didn't smell them on her so he was about to say it was a mistake to kiss her.

 

He took another deep breath completely oblivious to kagomes worrys.

“kagome, I smell those three scents on you” inuyasha said readying himself for her response. Kagome was, to say the least, stunned. “you…..smell them on ……me?” she reapeated

 

“yes” “wow” “yeah”

 

“so, is that the only reason you kissed me? Because im supposed to be your mate? not because you wanted to?” Kagome asked getting angry.

 

Inuyashas eyes got wide. This was not what he imagined her reaction to be. “i…..no! no! how could you even think that! I just now even remembered about that! I kissed you because I wanted to!”

 

Kagome started to settle down. She took a deep breath. “this is a little much to take in right now, I think I need to go home” She got up and used her demon speed to run to her bike. Inuyasha called her name, but she didn't pay him any mind. She just got on her bike and left. She drove all the way to her house and ran to her room, ignoring sango and rin calling her name, and closed and locked the door. She then sunk down to her knees crying.

 

`why me! Why does he have to be my mate! he deserves someone better than me! I dont know him to well but im just going to hurt him! And with naraku out there who knows how long I even have to live! I will kill naraku eventually but I never really imagined living after that! If do live! Its to dangerous to involve him in. kami! Why! Why did you make me his mate! someone who probably wont even live long enough to make him happy!'

 

She just sat their and cryed, ignoring rin and sango pounding on her door begging her to let them in and tell them whats wrong. She just sat there and cried, and cried, and cried, completely unaware of the person outside of her window watching the young hanyou cry her heart out with concerned eyes (ooohhhh I wonder who it is! Lol) until understanding dawned on him and it was replaced by fury. He then Jumped away, running to his house to take his anger out on something. His silver hair billowing in the wind behind him. (WINK WINK! HINT HINT! In case u don't know who it is.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Looks like someone got the wrong idea! Lol. Don't worry, im not going to put naraku in for awhile. Aren't you guys happy! Lol and im sorry again, because you are going to have to wait for the next chapter! I get out for x-mas break in about 2 weeks and I will write more then I promise! Until then you can check out my other story, the slayer, its only got a few chapters but its pretty good, im going to work on it more over x-mas break. But im not working on anything until I get some reviews!!!!!!!!!! No reviews no chapter! Sorry! That's just how I work! So anyway! L8a!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
