InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Help! ❯ Twisted Freedom ( Chapter 2 )

Dr. Bramble walked down the hall, and noticed the open door. Strange... She went in, and saw the glow of a computer screen. She opened the file, and saw KISA MATSU open. Uh-oh... the last thing she could read was 'Birth is not authentic. Kisa was a successful attempt at re-creating birth.' Then Kisa knew. She was going to try to run away. But she wouldn't go through with it. She never did.----------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------I yanked open the door to my cell, (by now I had dropped all pretenses of seeing the good in this place) and ripped open the carefully sewed seem of the cot. Inside was a stash of credit cards, (Why use up what the Doctors had? It's way better too put them in debt.) actual money, IDs, drivers licenses, and wallets. I grabbed as much of it as I could, and stuffed it all in the front pocket of the nightgown. I ran out of the room, and raced down the halls. I soon came to an exit, with two guards standing in front of it. Apparently, every one knew that I was out and about. They looked kind of scared, and I smiled at them, which terrified them even more. One of them pulled out a Taser, and I was forced to drop to a skid, sliding under him, and grabbing his belt. I used it as a support, and did a flip, nailing him between the shoulder blades. He crashed forward, and I jack-knifed the other guy while I was down. He stumbled backward, and I round housed this guy, making a solid KO. The one that wasn't out was trying to activate the Taser. “No you DON'T!” I yelled at him. He moved faster, and I chopped the base of his neck, knocking him out as well. I ran through the doors, and laughed as I smelled fresh air. I ran even faster, and took a flying leap, vaulting over the chain-link fence with the signature spikes on top. Then a loud siren wailed, and spotlights flicked on. I was willing to bet that black trucks and search dogs would be after me in an hour max. I sprinted through the trees, trying to find a suitable sleeping place. I found a tree, and hunkered down, relishing this hour. My first hour of freedom.
