Help Wanted - Help Granted

Inuyasha and Sango stood hip to hip, facing their mortal enemy Naraku. Inuyasha had his trademark smirk in place and he could see Sango's dark crimson eyes sparkle with the fire of vengeance. Next to Sango stood Kirara, the loyal fire cat, her roars echoed over the plain.

-          Are you ready my friend? asked Inuyasha as he gripped his Tetsaiga.

-          I'm with you Inuyasha-kun, smiled Sango and blinked at her dog-eared friend.

-          Then let's kick some ass!

And with that they put their forces together and rushed forward, slashing through the endless rows of tentacles. Behind them stood Kagome and Miroku, backing them up with purifying arrows and ofudas. The smell of burnt flesh began to rise around the fighters. They all could hear the painful screams coming from Naraku. Inuyasha looked to his left side and saw Kagura turn on her master and released a wave of cutting wind blades. And as she did this, Inuyasha let a storm of diamond spears fly through the air.

But as wind blades, diamond spears, purifying arrows and ofudas melted into one giant force of goodness, something happened. Sango gasped as she felt something tug at her and she turned around and saw a whirl pool being created behind them. "What the hell is that?!" she thought as she struggled to keep her feet on the ground, but before she could react, her friend Kirara, had been sucked into the worm hole.

-          KIRARA!!!

Sango's scream was swallowed up as she too was dragged into the whirl pool. Inuyasha growled and put his sword to the ground, trying to hold his stand against the strength of the magic. But it was in vain. Soon he too was sucked into the hole, together with Kagura. And then, they were gone. The power that closed the portal was the thing that killed Naraku; he was crushed with mystical forces beyond anybody's apprehension.

Kagome, Miroku, Shippou, Kohaku and Kanna looked at the pile of ashes that once had been Naraku. They had won, but they had lost four of their friends.

Sango felt something soft and furry under her hands and she grabbed hold of it. A familiar growl could be heard and she knew it was Kirara. She heaved herself up on the cat's back and looked around. But a second later she had to duck because she was almost knocked off. A loud ear piercing sound could be heard and Sango clenched her jaws together. She managed to look around and saw a horde of flying demons. A small evil smile appeared on her lips and she took a firm grip of her giant boomerang and then she threw it through the sky, seeing it take down two youkai riders. Kirara's fangs penetrated the neck of one of the flying demons and Sango took the opportunity to jump off Kirara's back and over to the youkai to take out the rider. As her boomerang roamed through the sky, Sango used her sword and killed the rider with one swift move. As Kirara chewed the neck off the flying youkai, Sango jumped back onto the fire cat's back just in time with her boomerang.

Now the taijya was able to get a better view of where the heck she was. A giant battle was taking place underneath her on the plain. Flying youkais roamed the sky, picking up humans, releasing them from high altitudes. She knew that the humans was unable to fight them so she decided to fight for them. They weren't Naraku, but they was sure as evil as the asshole, she could feel it. She took sight on a new enemy and attacked it.

Inuyasha found himself surrounded by some veeeeery ugly creatures. They were snarling and he could see the snot running from their noses. And the smell, oh the god awful smell. He put his left arm over his nose and raised his sword and cut through the first three yuckies that came too close to him. This was worse than anything he had been through before. What the hell was going on? Where the fuck was he anyway?

-          KAZE NO KIZU!!!he yelled and blasted a road open in front of him. Parts of icky things rained down onto the ground. He saw Kirara in the sky and Sango as well and he sighed in relief. He was not alone in this strange place.

He looked forward again and saw an impressive white fortress, built into the giant mountains. If he could reach that…. he could turn around a blast off his diamond spears. As he fought through the wall of snot-demons, he saw humans. And one that fall right in front of his feet. He cut through the demon who tried to gut the human and picked the soldier up and dragged him with him as he fought to get to the giant white wall.

-          Let me gooooo!! screamed the soldier Inuyasha was carrying and for a moment he thought he had a very young boy on his shoulder, before the hanyou realized that it was not a he - it was a she.

-          Stop squirming onna!! snarled Inuyasha and tightened his hold on the body on his shoulder. - I'm trying to get us to safety here!

She stopped her wiggling when she heard the demanding voice of the red clothed person with the long, white flowing hair. She saw an orch coming towards her rescuer from behind and she growled low, waiting for the moment to pierce the slime-nosed troll with her sword. And just two seconds later the orch lay on the ground with his throat sliced and diced. But what really impressed her was the man who was carrying her. He had skills that far succeeded lord Aragorn's powers of the sword. She could hardly wait until he put her down so she could look at his face, the face of her rescuer. Yes, she acknowledged it - this man had saved her life.

Kagura curled into a small ball as the giant beast passed. She was between the beast's legs. As soon as he had passed she straightened up and snarled and flipped out her fan and let a wave of cutting blades rush through the air. The blades cut through the thick skin of the beast's hind legs and it fell to the ground, making the earth shake when it fell.

-          Take that you gigantofantus!! she smirked.

-          Me lady… are you alright?

The small voice made Kagura turn around and saw a boy with curly red hair. "A child? On the battlefield? This is not right…" She grabbed the boy and carried him away from the battlefield. Not the easiest thing when you had an army of snarling and dirty things blocking your way. But she used her cutting winds and then turned them around and made them dance. The dance of the dead; turning them against their former allies.

-          That will give you something to do until we're gone.

The light smirk on Kagura's lips was very evident.

-          Me Lady…. w-what did ye do? asked the little redheaded boy.

-          Giving us a chance to get out of this slimy mess without getting hurt boy, said Kagura with a sharp voice. - And what the hell were you thinking boy? You're just a child!!

-          I'm not a child, I may be short, but I'm old enough to fight, rebelled the young boy.

-          Oh really???

-          I'm a hobbit me lady… we're short compared to humans.

-          I'm not a human boy, I'm a youkai.

-          What???

-          A demon boy, I'm a demon. A wind demon.

-          Ehhh?

-          What's your name boy? asked Kagura as she called forth a few tornadoes to clear her road to safety.

-          M-merry.

-          Merry? Is that even a name?

-          Who are you me lady?

-          The name is Kagura, and I think I might have….

She didn't get any further because her fan was slapped out of her hand by the broad side of a sword. She looked up and drowned in a pair of dark blue eyes.

Sango was the queen of the skies and she knew it. She could hear the cheering crowd coming from the fortress and she knew she was doing a good deed. Kirara went for the necks of the flying dragons and Sango took care of the riders, they worked in perfect harmony. Soon the dragon riders were gonners, their memory faded into the rest of the battle. But as she forced her sword into the face of one of the riders she heard the humming sounds of passing arrows. She growled and saw an amount of fast coming arrows heading right at her and the beast she was standing on.

-          KIRARA!!she called her loyal friend's name and the fire cat soon came to her rescue.

The cat caught her mistress and she followed her instructions, diving down towards the source of the arrows.

Sango was furious, couldn't the bowman see what the hell was going on before he released his arrows. A person with a bow and white hair came into her view and she told Kirara to take him out before he managed to hurt somebody with his stray arrows. She made a graceful jump off Kirara and told her to keep her back clear from the two legged creeps that seemed to grow from the earth itself.

As the fire cat defended Sango's back, the taijya walked towards the white haired fellow that was releasing arrow after arrow into the sky, killing the last of the flying youkais. As soon as the last one had fallen Sango patted his shoulder and he turned around, raising an arrow into her face.

-          HEY!!!Keep that away from me demon!! snarled Sango and took hold of the arrow's head and bent it until it was broken.

-          Who do you call demon woman??? he shot back with blazing green eyes.

-          You, aren't you a demon? asked Sango a bit confused. He had silvery white hair, his ears was pointed. Surely he was a demon?

-          Lady, I'm an elf… who are you? And where the hell did you come from? asked the man as he once again raised his bow and shot a snivelling demon next to Sango.

-          I am Sango, I'm a demon slayer, said Sango and drew her sword and decapitated an orch next to the man she was talking to.

-          I'm Legolas, you're pretty good with that sword of yours, but what the hell is that other thing you're carrying? Asked the white haired man.

-          This is the HIRAIKOTSU!!!

Sango threw her giant boomerang to take of the heads of several of the snot-producing demons.

Sango saw the impressed look from the pointy eared man in front of her and she smirked and jumped onto Kirara's back again.

-          Make sure that you don't aim that thing where I am boy, and we don't have a problem.

Before he could answer her, she was already high up in the sky, making that enormous thing take care of the towers that threatened to launch army after army into Minas Tirith.

Legolas was for a moment stunned, the woman had brushed him off. But before he could dwell further into what kind of woman she was he was attacked by more orchs and he stopped thinking about women at all.

Sango heard a voice calling out from the giant fortress and her eyes caught the devastated form a small human, a boy? She steered Kirara to go down towards the young voice.

-          He's not dead… please somebody help me… Faramir is not dead… help me!! Please!! cried the young voice as Sango made Kirara land behind the boy.

-          I'm here boy, can I help you? asked Sango as she jumped down from Kirara's back.

-          Y-yes my lady… come, come, he's about to burn his son… but Faramir is not dead, he's still alive. Wounded he is, but not dead. But the King is delusional, he's certain that his last son has died.

-          Take me to him, said Sango and followed the little boy that seemed to be crushed by the thought that this Faramir was about to die even if he was not dead.

The young lad nodded and grabbed her hand and dragged her towards a giant oak door. The door was locked from the inside and Sango growled darkly.

-          Step aside boy…., she said and took hold of the youkai bone.

-          W-what are you going to do?

-          Open the door so we can save your friend, said Sango and threw her Hiraikotsu towards the heavy doors and they splintered at the impact. - Come on boy, let's find your friend.

Sango rushed through the marble hall, she saw figures dressed up for some kind of an event. Not good.

A stack of wood in the large hall and a raging, insane king was howling through the corridors. She felt a tug on her hip bone and she looked down and saw the young kid again.

-          He's not dead, just fatally wounded, the boy said with huge tears in his eyes.

-          Then we'll save him, said Sango and used her giant boomerang to course through the marble hall, taking out every individual with a flame in his hand, including the delusional king. The young boy scurried forth and pulled the young man from the stack of woods and began unfolding his armour.

Sango used the strength she had gained during her travels with Inuyasha and the gang and carried the man as she followed the little boy to a nearby room. Sango could see the arrows sticking up from his body and she made a short process of pulling them out, despite the trembling moans of pain..

-          Water, NOW!! she ordered the young boy.

Pippin did not dare to question the woman with the skills of a warrior. He did as he was told. He fetched water and a several bandages. He saw her work quickly to clean the wounds on Faramir, her hands were very gentle and he wondered if she had done this kind of work often.

Faramir's body was aching and throbbing with pain. He opened his eyes but his vision was blurry. But he could see a person dressed in black. The hands that was wrapping him up was gentle and soft and he knew it was a woman. He heard the little hobbit talk to him and Faramir turned his head to the voice.

-          Pippin?

-          Yes Lord Faramir, said Pippin and took the warrior's hand.

-          W-what happened?

-          Your father… he went crazy and tried to burn himself and you. He was convinced that you were dead Lord Faramir. The lady here saved your life.

-          L-lady?

-          The name's Sango and I am not a lady, said Sango. She put one last touch on the bandages and looked into his face. He was handsome and she blushed as his piercing blue green eyes locked with hers.

Faramir managed to smile. He wished that he could see her better, but the blood loss was too much for him and he closed his eyes. Soon he fell asleep. Sango brushed her hand over his face and looked at the small boy.

-          Pippin… that's your name?

-          Yes my Lady, said the boy.

-          Watch over him.

That was an order and Pippin followed it. He did not dare to go against this lady. She was way to powerful for that.

Ok, so that was the first part...
Tell me what you think of it... Please.
And for those who don't know what snot-demons are - they're orchs.. :o)
