It was Aragorn, who came running into the hall, his sword waving about, behind him stood an army of ghosts. He was angry, anybody could see that. The old, white haired man that Kirara had saved walked over to the young warrior and looked at him sternly.

-          Lord Aragorn, what's all the ruckus about? asked Gandalf and put a hand on hand on Aragorn's shoulder.

-          I was sent away to find this army and once I come back to fight, the whole thing is over? What the all the Gods name happened?

-          We got some help from a few very extra ordinary people, said Gandalf with a gentle smile and showed the warrior the small group that had decimated the enemy's army so it was possible for the humans to win.

Aragorn saw the odd bunch and he frowned. Surely his friend was joking? They couldn't have been of any help, could they? Two women, a strange cat and a boy with silver hair? No way in hell it was possible.

-          Gandalf, you're joking with me right?!

-          No, Lord Aragorn. Come, let me introduce you to our new friends, said Gandalf and guided the warrior over to the small group. - This is Inuyasha, he's a half demon and his sword is mightier than yours Lord Aragorn. It can produce a blast that disintegrates every orch and troll it hits.

Aragorn eyed the rusty thing that was placed on the young man's hip. He was sure that Gandalf had lost it, until man in question pulled it out and it was transformed into a giant blade. "Wow, that thing is amazing." thought Aragorn with wide eyes.

-          And this is Kirara, she's a fire cat demon and she's the loyal companion to Sango here. Sango is a demon exterminator and with the help of the giant boomerang on her back she could take out the Nazgûl Riders.

Aragorn nodded to the woman, she was very beautiful and he couldn't help but flirt a bit. He was surprised to hear Legolas and Faramir growl darkly. He looked at the two men and was confused. "What the fuck is going on here? Legolas and Faramir - they want her? They want this little woman?" He shook his head and turned his attention back to Gandalf.

-          And this is Kagura, I've been told that she is a wind sorceress; she can create deadly wind blades and resurrect dead orchs to fight on our side. She's a demon too, said Gandalf and knew that his young warrior friend was having trouble believing that this group of people had been the help they needed to finish the battle.

-          Gandalf, you must be pulling my leg here! snapped Aragorn.  - Do you really expect me to believe this fairy tale of yours? They're just kids, and women, what the fuck are you thinking? Women does not belong on the battlefield!

He was silenced by a slap. But it was not one of the women in front of him, it was Eowyn. She looked at him with furious eyes. He noticed that she was dressed as a warrior too.

-          Keep your thoughts to your self Lord Aragorn, snarled the blonde woman. - You wasn't here, you didn't see how they fought at our side. They came to us because we were loosing the battle. They helped us even if we didn't ask for it. Lady Sango here and her wonderful Cat Kirara, took care of the dragons in the sky. Kirara alone made sure that the battle towers didn't come anywhere near Minas Tirith's walls. And Lady Kagura, her wind blades was able to cut down the oliofants that carried the thugs. And my man here, his sword is one hell of a powerful weapon. One more word from you Lord Aragorn and I will give you to them.

-          Lady Eowyn…., breathed Aragorn.

-          Shut up, you have no idea what happened here before you came. And if it wasn't for these fine people we would have been destroyed, you were too late!! yelled Eowyn but relaxed a bit when she felt the hand of the silver haired man on her waist and she was pulled back into his arms. She shivered a bit when she felt his nose nuzzle her neck, but it made her relax and she didn't care that everybody was looking at them.

Aragorn just gaped at the tender scene that was displaying in front of him and suddenly he felt a wave of jealousy. She was supposed to love him, she had wanted him for so long and now she let this… this half demon, touch her in such intimate manner?

Gandalf was the one that cut the tension in the air by gathering the rest of the ruling lords and warriors around them. They still had two people out there who were fighting for them all. Frodo and Sam.

They gathered around Gandalf and he waited until everybody was silenced. With a curious look in his eyes he saw that the young woman Sango was sided by Legolas and Faramir. The blush on her cheeks was telling enough. And the young men was very possessive of her, just like the boy with white hair, was around Eowyn. Even Lord Elrond had a possessive streak in his eyes as he looked at the wind witch. "Oh, dear Gods, where will this end?" the old magician asked himself as the hall was silenced.

-          The battle is still going on out there for two of our friends. Frodo and Sam have still to make it to Mount Doom and dispose of that infernal ring. There are still thousands of orchs on the other side of the Black Gate. Our friends might be dead, but I don't think so, I can still feel the agitated worry coming from Sauron. He has not gotten his hands on his ring yet, said Gandalf.

-          Do you have any suggestions Lord Gandalf? asked Elrond, his arm was laid around the lower back of the wind witch.

-          We lure them to open the gate; we make sure that Sauron's eyes are upon us. That should give Frodo and Sam the time to go into the mountain, said Gandalf.

-          That's suicide, said Aragorn with a frown.

-          I think not, this could be the time where your army could do what they're supposed to do and then they can be released, said Gandalf with a soft smile.

Aragorn turned around and saw the ghostly king nod.

-          They're with us, said Aragorn and noticed that demon exterminator moved away from Legolas and Faramir. She walked over to the Ghost King and bowed.

The Ghost King was surprised over the young woman's behaviour. But he bowed back and raised a sickly green and transparent hand and let it move over her cheek.

-          You're a strong woman, it will be an honour to fight at your side, said the Ghost King.

-          For victory, whispered Sango and bowed again and walked back to the group. But instead of taking her old place between the men that was fighting over her, she choose to stand next to Merry and Pippin.

A moment of silence fell over the hall and it was Gimli the dwarf that cut the tension in the air by raising his axe into the air and call out that they should march for the Black gate.

And so it was decided. A new battle stood at the door. A battle to give Frodo and Sam enough reprieve to dispose of that infernal ring. Gandalf walked over to Inuyasha and looked at the young man.

-          Are you with us this time as well? asked Gandalf.

-          Keh! Of course, we got nothing better to do, snorted the young man and it made Gandalf smile.

-          Thank you. It means a lot for us.

Sango, Kirara and Kagura nodded in consent to what Inuyasha just had promised. Of course they would fight against the evil forces that threatened this world.

It was settled, they would take on the dark forces once again and they moved out of the damage fortress of Minas Tirith.

Three people were riding on Kirara as they marched towards the Black Gate. Gimli, Merry and Pippin.

-          Well, it's better than riding a horse, grunted the dwarf and made the two hobbits smile.

-          This cat is one hell of a fighter Lord Gimli, said Merry and stroked the soft fur of the fire cat.

-          Indeed she is, said Pippin. - She alone managed to take out the giants that were pushing the battle towers towards Minas Tirith. And I could bet my best tobacco that she took out more orchs than you did Lord Gimli.

The dwarf grunted again but nodded. He had seen the cat do some serious damage to the enemy. She was a skilful fighter and he acknowledges that.

-          But I'm worried about Lord Faramir and Lord Legolas, said Pippin with a small frown on his face.

-          Indeed, what's up with them anyway? asked Merry.

-          Sango, that would be my guess, said Gimli and looked at the two men in question. Legolas and Faramir were sending deadly glares at each other. The green eyed demon of jealousy was with them.

-          They like her? But… but…, mumbled Merry.

-          Perhaps they could share her, said Gimli with his blunt honesty.

-          Do you think she could accept them both? asked Pippin.

-          Who knows, that's for Kirara's mistress to decide on her own. And Lady Sango really needs to get them to pull it together. They can't fight unless they have overcome their jealousy, said Merry.

Gimli and Pippin agreed silently to that and Kirara mewled her consent.
