Helping Helps

!!!

The silver car pulled up at the wrought iron gates. The gates stood fifteen feet high with vines running around it. Where the two gates opened, there was the school's crest. The griffin, book, and sword. The gates opened as the car drove on, leading to a neatly paved road. The girl in the car was coloring in her pictures to pass the time. They wouldn't be at the actual school until ten minutes later.

"Kagome," Yoshi called his daughter's name. Kagome looked up. "Get ready, where almost there." He said softly.

"Okay daddy!" Kagome said just as softly, she put away all of her things and saw the school.

The school was about, HUGE! It was five stories high, and looked more like a campus. There were different wings to each building. In the elementary school, the five stories were meant for the five grades. There was a smaller building, it was one story, but it was big! It held the kindergartens' rooms. The second building was for 6-8 grades, middle school. The first three floors were the main classrooms for each grade. The other two floors were: the fourth floor, half of it was for art, the other half music. On the fifth floor, were the computer and technology labs. In the last building, was the high school. All the floors were different classrooms, but it did not go by grade. The building was broken down into wings, or sections. The first wing was the math wing. Second were English, literature, and foreign language. Third were sciences. Fourth was histories and geography. And fifth was where the library, tech. labs, music and art rooms were. All of the buildings were made from an old burgundy colored brick, and had vines running along side it.

The car stopped, and Yoshi got out. He opened the door for Kagome and bent down to get her bag.

"Gimme kiss Gome."

"Okay." Kagome pecked him on the cheeks Yoshi gave her the bag, and she ran into the school building, waving goodbye. Yoshi jumped in the car.

'Now to get my dad.'

!!!

Sesshoumaru looked around the empty classroom, for something, ANYTHING!!!! He let out a sigh, and reached into his book bag and took out the thick book. He also took out his pencils (colored and all) and flipped to the page where he was fighting off little dragon-ized siblings. He colored in the fairies, just as his teacher came in, with her ever full mug of coffee.

She walked behind Sesshoumaru desk, stopped when something caught her eye, and took a few steps back. Ms. Riokuzro or Ms.Rio looked at drawing over Sesshoumaru's shoulder. He acted like he didn't see her, or smell the coffee in her hand.

Ms. Rio always had her curly light brown hair in a bun, however messy it may be, and always wore pants. She had a few strands framing her face. She had doe brown eyes with long black lashes and a cute little nose. She looked more like a teenager rather than a teacher, but she was twenty-four.

"Wow Sesshoumaru! This is amazing!"

"Thank you." He whispered lowly.

"I think you should go to Mrs. Hanith at lunch and show her this. Or better yet show her when we go there after I take attendance, you have extreme talent!"

"Okay," Sesshoumaru was, well, he was shy. He didn't really like it when people started fawning over something he did. He didn't see what was so special about his drawing; it just looked like, well, a DRAWING! Mrs. Hanith was one his favorite teachers, just like Ms. Rio, but still, even though they were friendly to each other, he still didn't want any attention. Oh well. What's done is done.

Sesshoumaru placed the ribbon back in and closed the book as more students came in. They were all nine to ten years old, but little Sesshou was only seven. Many of the girls thought he was cute and crushes on him, many boys were envious that he had all the girls, and then there were the people who were out to break Sesshoumaru. These people felt as if little kids weren't supposed to be in their grade. These people worked hard to get from pre-school to the fourth grade, while this brat comes along and breezes past them.

But, Sesshoumaru was never broken by them. He stood tall like a marble statue and wasn't going to let anybody move him. That's what a certain five year old girl loved about him too.

Ms. Rio walked to her big blue chair with the attendance.

"Azermith"

"Here!"

"Aderfield" When no one answered she marked the girl's name with an A.

"Bethinell?"

"Here!"

"Coronal?"

"Here!"

"Cubazaki?"

"Yup!"

" Bonvieux?"

"Present." Sesshoumaru answered quietly. But she didn't have to say his name, she knew he was here. 'Oh precautions, precautions.' Thought Sesshoumaru.

After Rio finished attendance, she told everybody to line up for art. She shot a look toward Sesshoumaru, and Sesshoumaru just nodded and grabbed his thick, black book. He got on line and many kids looked at the book curiously. They marched up the stairs to the art rooms of the second building and took their seats at the circular tables with green chairs. The art room had drawings on the walls, shelves filled with sculptures and pins of supplies. There were cabinets fill with supplies too, and Mrs. Hanith was also sitting on her desk with a paper towel, drying her hands. Mrs. Hanith was slim, with no visible bust. She had wavy red hair that was in a messy ponytail and she wore jeans with paint spots on them. She was wearing an orange shirt and over it a zipper-hoodie that was black. The sleeves of the hoodie stopped at her elbow. She had slightly narrowed bright gray eyes, and she had stark red freckles.

"Okay kids, today, we're just going to draw and color. Next time we meet, we're going to trace over it and then shade it! You know where everything is! Get hoppin' jolly ranchers!" Mrs. H said.

"Jill," Ms. Rio whispered as she called over Sesshoumaru. Jill walked over and saw one of her favorite students. "Jill, I want you to see this, Sesshoumaru is amazing! I saw him drawing before the class arrived, and I think he has a lot of promise." She spoke softly as she, Jill, and Sesshoumaru walked over to an empty table. Some kids looked over and began whispering.

The three of them sat down and Sesshoumaru opened his book to the forest scene. Everything was colored in now; there were no more white spots. Jill's eyebrows shot up.

"Wow!" She breathed. She looked at how many pages were in front of it, about a hundred. "Sesshoumaru, can you explain this picture?"

"It's sort of like a metaphor for when my mother has the new baby."

"Bella's pregnant?" Ms. Rio cut in, at his nod, "Congrats, so it's a girl?"

"No, I don't know, I just drew a girl. There a fifty percent chance that it will be a girl."

'Of course he would think like that.' Mrs. Hanith thought.

!!!

Inuyasha sat back, bored, as always, as a girl was showing off her show and tell. 'By the grapes of Welch's. How boring.'

Everyone clapped as she was finished. When she sat back down a knock on the door sounded. Their teacher, Ms. Veleri, answered. In stepped Bella. She was wearing a 1920's style dress that was black and the part that began as a low cut neck that went to the middle of her neck was pure black lace. Her hands were covered by black satin gloves. In her right hand was a chain. The chain was then connected to a black Doberman with a black leather spiked collar.

"Mrs. Bonvieux, hello!" Ms. V greeted her. "Well since it seems as if Inuyasha's show and tell is here, Inuyasha can go now." Inuyasha ran up to his mother, gave her a quick hug and took the leash. He ran back to the front of the room and proudly displayed the dog.

"This," he pointed to the animal, "Is Dea! She's my dog! She likes to eat raw meat, cooked meat, and the meat of people who she doesn't like! She likes to sleep a lot on my bed. And she eats with the other dogs in kitchen whenever my family eats, so yeah!"

Kagome raised her hand to ask a question.

"Inuyasha! How many dogs are their in your house?" She asked.

Inuyasha put his finger on his chin as he thought. "Um... well there's Dea- my dog. Mom has Gothik. Dad's is Hammer. Sesshoumaru," Kagome's eyes lit up at his name, "Sesshoumaru has Jiolin, and Kori. Then we have also, Minnie and Lione, who are staying with us for 'cause our cousin is in Argentina right now."

All the kids' eyes were wide at how many dogs were there. Inuyasha didn't understand why people didn't understand, there were only seven dogs. Everybody clapped as he walked back to his mother to hand her Dea. Bella took the leash, kissed him on the head, and walked out of the room, but not before waving to Kagome.

!!!

Bella decided to pay Sesshoumaru a visit. She looked in his classroom, and found it empty. Of course, it was just like Ellie Riokuzro to leave a note saying where they were at the time. 'Art.'

She made her way to the art room, when she looked in she saw Sesshoumaru with his two teachers. They seemed to be looking over something. Sesshoumaru turned around and gold met gold. Mrs. Hanith turned and saw her. She got up and gestured Ms. Rio and Sesshoumaru to join.

They left the room, and Bella hugged Sesshoumaru.

"Hi ma." He said quietly.

"Hello Sesshoumaru. Hello Ellie. Hello Jill." Bella greeted.

Jill and Ellie hugged her, "CONGRATS!"

"We heard, or more or else, saw that you were pregnant!"

Bella blushed slightly, "Thank you, I take it you saw Sesshou's picture?"

Jill nodded, "Yes, we never knew he saw so talented! I want to move him to the eighth grade art class. There his talent can really show through."

Sesshoumaru whipped his head around to his art teacher. He looked at her as if she was crazy, he did NOT want to go to THAT class. He had heard about their teacher, and she was NOT nice.

'I mean come on! Her last name is Chieldeader, and that sounds a lot like Child Eater.' An involuntary shiver ran through his body.

"I don't know, when Sesshoumaru shivers, it can't be good."

"Oh well, but he does have a promising future." Jill said as she rested a hand on Sesshoumaru's shoulder.

!!!

Sesshoumaru sat by his favorite tree in the courtyard. His navy blue slack covered legs were stretched out in front of him as his lunch box sat in his lap. His hands held a bagel; it was filled with deli-cut turkey, mayo, cheddar cheese, and romaine lettuce. He was slowly chewing on it, and then sipping his apple juice from his own sports bottle. A shadow blocked what sunlight in front of him, that wasn't already blocked from the tree's leaves. He looked up and saw a girl. He knew her as his father's business partner's daughter. Kagome Higu... well he knew her first name, which was good enough.

Kagome looked at him as he cocked an eyebrow in silent question.

She swallowed, and jumped right on in.

"Can I join you?" Sesshoumaru blinked as though surprised, then nodded. Kagome flashed him a smile and she plopped down. Her dark and light blue plaid skirt lifted slightly as she sat on the soft green grass. She opened her purple lunchbox and took out a ham and cheese with lettuce and tomato sandwich. She took a bite and chewed it as she looked at everybody else playing.

She looked at her crush, and swallowed her food. "I didn't know you had two dogs."

Sesshoumaru looked at her again, "Yes I do. Inuyasha told you?" Kagome nodded. Sesshoumaru picked up the second half of his sandwich.

"You are Yoshi-san's daughter, correct?"

"Yes, you are Bella-san's son, correct?" She asked mocking him.

He just lifted an eyebrow and looked her straight in the eye. Blue met gold as they sat there in a staring competition. "Yes."

Kagome broke the connection, blushing slightly, and she took a drink of her grape juice.

SOMEWHERE ELSE...

Inuyasha looked on in jealousy as his brother talked with Kagome. Didn't Kagome know that she was his? If he could get Sesshoumaru to hurt Kagome, Kagome would've run into Inuyasha's awaiting arms, and he would shower her with love. But then, there was Kikyo in class K-3. He liked Kikyo, the same if not more than Kagome. But Kagome was in K-1, the same class as himself. So she was around him more. How the heart is so fickle.

But the more he looked at Kagome, with his brother, she seemed so much more happy with him. When she was with Inuyasha, she seemed, well, not happy.

'How can I get Kagome AND Kikyo to love me? Especially when it seems as though Kagome likes Sesshoumaru. Maybe if I tell Sesshoumaru that she likes him, he might reject and freeze her. Then she'll come to me!' Inuyasha smirked. His plan would work. He knew it would!

!!!

Sesshoumaru was in his room doing the last of his homework when someone knocked on his door.

"Yes?"

"It's me, Inuyasha!" Sesshoumaru wrote the last answer to his math homework,

2X+3=10
2X=7
X=3.5

Then he answered the door. Inuyasha came in and walked toward the desks' chair. Sesshoumaru sat on his bed, and Inuyasha wheeled the chair over.

"I know something you don't know." Inuyasha sang.

"So? If I don't know it, what would make you think I would want to know?"

"Because it involves you."

"So?"

"And Kagome!"

"So?" Sesshoumaru had a blank look on his face.

"Kagome has a major crush on you."

"It is neither mine nor her fault that her heart chooses to like and or love. Now get out Inuyasha."

Inuyasha turned red with anger and stomped out the room. 'How dare he? I thought he would've been furious! Damn!'

!!!

Kagome sat on her bed as she looked at her picture of Sesshoumaru.

'I came so close to telling him. But I think Inuyasha likes me, and I don't want that! Oh, Sesshoumaru!'

!!!

Hi everybody! It's me! Please review! Ha ha! I was so tired when I wrote this, so its wimpy and it's short, and too bad if you wanted it to be longer! Gah!
