Chapter 9

 

 

 

A few days later Shippou left to go back home leaving his number with Rin to call him so they could get together sometime. Shortly afterward Rin also left with a promise not to tell their parents about Inuyasha and Sesshomaru being lovers. Inuyasha decided that they should call Hojo and tell him to come over since it had been quite awhile since they had been together alone. “Hello” “Hey Hojo I was wondering if you wanted to come over sometime today since my sister and Shippou are gone.” “Yeah that's cool when do you want me to come.” “Is now okay or do you want to come over later.” “Well now isn't really a good time how about around 2:00 or 2:30 is that okay.” “Yeah sure that's fine see you then.” “Bye” “Bye.” Inuyasha hung up the phone and walked over to the couch were Sesshomaru was sitting down engrossed in another book. “What are you reading this time?” “Oh one my favorites The Vampire Lestat. I just love Anne Rice she is such a good writer.” “My favorite of hers is The Tale of the Body Thief.” “Yeah that was a good one too.” “So what do you want to do until 2:00 since that is when Hojo is supposed to get here?” “How about you go see what Miroku and Kouga are doing since we haven't talked to them in a while.” “Okay I'll go call them I don't want to interrupt anything.” Inuyasha walked back over to the phone and dialed Miroku's number.

“Hello” “Hey Miroku what are you doing.” “Um Kouga” “Oh I was wondering if we could come over but I guess we could come some other time.” “Hey you can come and join us if you like.” “No I'm waiting for Hojo to come over and I just needed a little bit of a distraction.” “Oh okay call me later bye.” “Bye” Inuyasha hung up the phone and returned to the couch. “Well Miroku's out of the question.” “You could try Kagome and Sango.” “No, how about we just stay in and spend sometime together before Hojo gets here.” Inuyasha snuggled up next to Sesshomaru and Sesshomaru put his arm around Inuyasha.

 

~~ Somewhere in Naraku's house ~~

 

“Tonight is the night Inuyasha will be mine isn't that right Kagura.” “Yes Naraku.” Just then Kikyo walked in. “Kagura will you please come get your bitch of a sister.” “What has Kanna done now?” “She got into my make-up again.” “Kikyo didn't you notice that we were talking.” Naraku said calmly to get her attention. “Oh yes about how you're going to get Inuyasha from Sesshomaru. It's nothing we haven't heard before.” Naraku walked over to her and backhanded her across the face sending her sprawling on the floor. “You bitch don't you ever disrespect me again do I make my self clear.” “Yes Naraku” Kikyo said with a tremble in her voice. Naraku went on telling about how he was going to make Inuyasha his. Kikyo pretended to be paying attention while Kagura was getting the make-up off Kanna's face.

 

~~ Back at Inuyasha's place ~~

 

Inuyasha had his head in Sesshomaru's lap while Sesshomaru read silently when the door bell rang. Inuyasha got up and answered the door already knowing who it was. “Hey, Hojo how's it going?” “Fine what about you?” “Oh you know glad to be rid of the kids but missing them now.” “I can understand. I love it when my cousins come over even though they are a pain in the ass.” Hojo and Inuyasha returned to the living room where Sesshomaru was sitting waiting for them. “I brought movies to watch if you want to watch some. I got some scary movies and funny ones.” “Which ones did you bring?” Inuyasha asked. “The Ring, Jeepers Creepers 2, Scary movie 3, and American Pie wedding.” They all sat down to watch the movie The Ring first. Sesshomaru beckoned Hojo to sit in his lap so Hojo did while Inuyasha snuggled up to the both of them. They watched the Horror movies first which had Hojo sometimes jumping and snuggling closer to Sesshomaru then they watched the funny ones last which had them all laughing so hard their stomachs hurt. After the movies were over both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru kissed Hojo goodnight and goodbye. Then sometime later Inuyasha remembered something. “Hey Sesshy we need to go to the store we are low on food.” “Okay lets go just let me go get my keys first.” Sesshomaru disappeared in their bed room then reappeared with the keys. “Okay lets go.”

They both got in Sesshomaru's Benz and went to the grocery store. They shopped for the good they wanted, paid for it, and while they were walking out into the empty parking lot they heard a noise. “What's that? Did you hear that?” “Yeah lets hurry up.” But before they could reach the car Naraku was right in front of them. “Well hello Inu-baby long time no see.” “Get out of our way Naraku.” Sesshomaru said with venom in his voice. “Now, now I only wanted to say hey to my Inu-baby. Isn't that right Inu-baby?” Naraku said coming closer to Inuyasha. “I told you never to come close to Inuyasha!” Sesshomaru said while lunging at Naraku. Before anyone knew what happened there was a shot and Sesshomaru fell. “NOOOOO Sesshy no you can't die on my please don't die!” Inuyasha screamed over Sesshomaru's body. “I love you Yasha don't forget that.” Sesshomaru said with the last breaths in his body before dieing. “No Sesshy no you have to live I can't go on with out you.” But it was too late Sesshomaru was already dead.

“Its okay Inu-baby you've still got me.” Naraku said while cuddling Inuyasha to his chest while still holding on to the gun. Inuyasha continued to cry until he started thinking about who was holding him and who killed Sesshomaru. Inuyasha pushed Naraku away and snatched the gun from him. Naraku stared at Inuyasha shocked. “I hate you Naraku.” Inuyasha said while pointing the gun at Naraku. “I'll kill you for Sesshy.” Inuyasha fired the gun and it hit square in Naraku's cold heart. Naraku fell with a loud thump. Inuyasha slowly walked over to Naraku's body checking to see if he was really dead. After he was sure Naraku was dead he walked over to Sesshomaru's body laid down next to him with tears still running down his face. He grasped Sesshomaru's hand while bringing the gun to his mouth. He put the guns in his mouth and fired it. Inuyasha fell limp on Sesshomaru's with the only thing going through his mind before he died was that soon he would be with Sesshomaru again.

AN: yay that was the last chapter. I know it was sad but that was the only ending that I could think of I just couldn't get it out of my head. So don't kill me (runs and hides from the angry readers). Hope you liked my story and continue to read my others. ^ _ ^
