Whew! Chapter 6 is finally here. Sorry for the long wait. I don't really have a good excuse except maybe grandmas. Well I really have nothing else to say now so we'll just let you go ahead and read the story.

Chapter 6

"The newest member of the group"

"Ok let's head out," said Inuyasha. Everyone started to gather up their things. Hayden replaced her kimono she was wearing back with her armor (think of Abi's armor from the manga) and grabbed her sword and daggers. Miroku had his staff, Sango had her boomerang, and Kagome her bow and arrows. They then headed out of Kaede's hut and started off towards the forest again where Kagome had felt the shard earlier.

Sango, Shippo, and Kagome were riding on Kirara, while Miroku rode on Kagome's bike. As they traveled, Inuyasha kept glancing at Hayden who was running along side him. It felt good to have her back and know she alive, but he also wondered where she'd been or how her life was growing up. He decided he would talk with her later about it. They soon stopped next to a clearing where Kagome felt the shard strongest.

"I think it's right over there," she said, pointing to a cave. They all looked, although Hayden was sorta looking the other way. Inuyasha growled and placed his hand on his sword. "There's a demon in there. It must have the shard, so get ready everyone." Then, as if on cue a giant worm like demon wiggle out of the cave.

Kagome yelled, "I can sense a jewel shard in it, near the middle Inuyasha."

Inuyasha smirked, "Feh, there's always a jewel in the demon. But it helps when they're as weak as this one is." And with that said, Inuyasha unsheathed the Tetsusaiga (sorry for the spelling). The others just kind of hung back while Inuyasha charged forward and cut the demon. Sigh, sometimes it was just too easy. Inuyasha liked that. After slicing the demon in half, Kagome went to get the shard.

They wandered around for the rest of the day. Everyone was bored and Kagome couldn't sense anymore shards nearby. Soon, it was getting dark.

"Inuyashaaaaaa. My feet hurt. Can we stop for tonight?" complained Kagome.

Inuyasha just said, " How can you complain that your feet hurt when you're riding Kirara?"

Kagome's face turned as red as Inuyasha's outfit. " Oh yeah."

"Feh, weaklings."

"SIT!"

"Hello again dirt. Long time no see."

Kagome just crossed her arms. "Well if you weren't such a jerk, I wouldn't have done that."

"Whatever." Then he said, "Well it is getting late. Let's make camp for the night."

"Thank you Inuyasha."

Hayden just stared at the two oddly. Sango went up to her and whisper, "Don't worry about them. They do this practically everyday. You'll get used to it."

"Oh ok." She continued to look at Inuyasha and Kagome. `Hmm. I wonder. Oh well, I'll check it out later.'

Later, after camp had been set up, Kagome, Sango, and Hayden decided to take a bath in the hot springs that was nearby. Once they got there, they got out of their clothes and slipped into the water.

"Ahh, this feels good," Hayden sighed contentedly. Just then there was a rustling in the bushes and a faint chuckle can be heard. Kagome and Sango just sat there in the water, glad that the water hid anything too revealing. But that didn't stop the veins that appeared on the side of their foreheads.

Hayden just looked around, wondering what was happening. "What's wrong guys?"

Sango sighed, "Oh nothing. Just ignore it." She opened an eye and saw Hayden beginning to stand up out of the water. "No wait! Don't stand up!" But Hayden didn't hear her. "Who's there? I warn you to get away from here unless you have a death wish."

Kagome and Sango just looked at her and groaned. Behind the bush, Miroku was spying on the girls as he always did and was smiling as wide as ever. This was a treat for him seeing an almost nude girl standing up in front of him. `Now if only she took off the towel,' he thought. He was now off in his own little fantasy world that he didn't hear Hayden's threats. Too bad for him that his staff was sticking out from the side of the bush in plain sight.

Soon enough, Hayden saw the staff. She knew it was Miroku. She then bent down to whisper to Sango and Kagome. Hayden stood back up and the other girls followed her lead. The quarter demon then dropped her towel revealing her naked body and Kagome and Sango followed suit.

They started to dance seductively, drawing out Miroku into the spring. He had a dazed look on his face and drool was coming out of his mouth. His hands were stretched out and he began to reach for Hayden's chest.

"Now!" Hayden cried and then they all started to pummel him senseless. Clapping off the imaginary dirt on her hands, Hayden looked at her handiwork of a huddled mass black and blue all over. She smirked, rather pleased with herself. Inuyasha came busting through the forest after hearing Hayden cry out. He had been so deep in thought about Hayden that he hadn't noticed Miroku walk right past him to see the girls. By the time he arrived, the girls were dressed.

Now Miroku had a black eye after InuYasha had punched him for spying on the girls, especially Hayden. He probably would have been in much worse condition if the girls hadn't stopped Inuyasha. They all headed back to camp shortly after. Kirara had to come and carry Miroku back as the girls and Inuyasha didn't want to carry him.

After they all fell asleep, Miroku was the only one awake, as his welts and bruises refused to let him sleep. He had been so lucky to see the girls without Inuyasha catching him. He wanted to laugh out loud when he walked right past Inuyasha, who seemed to be deep in thought at the time. Maybe he'll get more lucky breaks like that next time. Quickly glancing at Inuyasha and seeing he was asleep, he eyed the girls in their close fitting sleeping bags that Kagome provided.

Miroku began to grin evilly. He crawled over and started to unzip Hayden's sleeping bag. As soon as he had her top off he coped a feel of her chest. Hayden stirred and awoke to grab Miroku's neck. Her eyes were tinged with red and her claws were slowly digging into his skin.

In a dangerously low voice, she said to him," Hentai priest, touch me again and you die!" Then she released him and watched him scramble back to his corner. Hayden's eyes turned to normal and she shook her head a little before lying back down to go to sleep. She made sure to sleep lightly in case he tried anything like that again though she was sure he wouldn't. As she tried to sleep she wondered why she had acted like that just now. She had only felt like that once before and her eyes began to slightly sting as that feeling began to bring up memories she thought she had buried.

That's it for chapter 6. Sorry that it's kinda short. We'll try and make it longer next time. Stick around for the next chapter which should be up soon, but I'm not sure how soon.
