Chapter 1: Last Day of School

Kagome tapped her pencil against the desk as she watched the clock waiting for the last bell of the year to sound. She felt a tap against her back so she turned around swiftly and blinked at her friend Mimora, "What do you want now, Mimora?" Kagome whispered, "Oh nothing, just seeing whether you were awake or not" whispered Mimora with a smile. Kagome rolled her eyes and turned around to look at the teacher who was staring at her, clearly telling Kagome with her eyes to stop the talking right away. The bell sounded about a minute later. Kagome grabbed her bag from the floor and walked out of the door. She looked down at the ground as she walked and ran into someone, "I am so sorry, Orphen" she said looking up at the man. The man was looking down at her with a grin, "It's ok Kagome," he said slipping his arms around her waist and planted a small kiss on her lips. She smiled then walked away and walked to her locker. Then she laughed and walked back to Orphen, "So anyway…." Orphen looked down at her with a smile, "So what are you doing today?" Said Orphen looking down at her with a smile. "I have to baby-sit my niece Shyanne," said Kagome looking at him with a bit of a smile, "It's the last day of school!" he yelled. Kagome's eyes widened as if she never knew, "I'm canceling then," said Kagome as she ran over to her locker, grabbed all her stuff out and ran back to Orphen, "Well that's good to here" said Orphen looking down at her. "We're going to have the best time of our lives this summer!" yelled an excited Kagome.
