Sesshoumaru had heard, he'd rushed over and found a man in the process of throwing an axe at Rin. He slide in front of her and knocked it back smoothly, slamming the burly man back as he sprang forward, sword tip resting against his neck. The man snarled and yelled, "This doesn't concern you, youkai. This is between me 'n that bitch over there." Sesshoumaru ran the blade across his neck and pushed him back emotionlessly. "Too bad," he replied as the man fell, with a surprised look on his dying face. The girl sighed with relief and fainted, hitting the jewel again and turning small. Rin picked her up and cradled her in her hands. Using the fallen dagger, she tore some of the cloth from her kimono and tied it around the cut. Sesshoumaru leaned in to look at her and said, "She's not a youkai." He pressed his finger into his fang and dripped the tiny amount of blood into her small mouth and on her little wing.
The girl's wing absorbed the blood and the wound slowly healed, membranes and cells linking together and forming the wing as whole again. Her tiny eyes fluttered open and she looked up t Rin--and bit her. Rin gasped and shook the little monster off her. Sesshoumaru chuckled, "She's an incubus, she needs blood and sexual desires to survive. She's a slightly different type of youkai." He caught the little incubus by its wings and shook it. "I think you should apologize," his voice brooked no arguments. The little incubus shrieked and moaned. "Blood, she's so---" she began mumbling to herself. "So dirty, ah! Lovely desires, beautiful, oh beautiful...More! I WANT MORE!" The little incubus shuddered and lay against Sesshoumaru's hands, distraughtly. "Too pure...ughn...NO! Augh! Ooooh...." Sesshoumaru twitched her casually and she exhaled shakily. He released her and she flicked her wings open to hover there. Bowing low, she said, "My forgiveness. Thank you for your assistance, it was much appreciated." Rin smiled, the bite bleeding sluggishly, "Oh it was nothing." The incubus looked scornfully at Rin, "I wasn't talking to you, you did nothing but distract me." Sesshoumaru looked down at the incubus and said coldly, "Check your tone, incubus, or I shall lose my patience with you." The incubus blushed and bowed again, "Of course, my Lord."
"My name is Fai Dee Sire, I am here to serve you, Lord," she said sweetly. "In any way..." She touched the jewel and nothing happen. She gasped, "Oh no! I'm out of energy!" She fluttered down distractedly, "I need those fantasies! If only he hadn't stolen them! Curses!" Fai clenched her tiny fists and huddled sadly on the ground. "I can't change without them." Sesshoumaru looked at the burly man and nodded understandingly. There lay a minature succubus, dead. "An ex-lover?" Fai giggled, "Of course not, my Lord. He wanted me, but I spurned him. He thought to have me by force and he was strong enough to maintain large form easily." Rin felt awkward but she asked, "How do you build up energy?" Fai bared her teeth at the dead male, "To fool around with a succubus, you can borrow their energy, or if a couple from around is consumating delectable desires, I can feed off that too."
Rin asked softly, "Urm...why was he trying to kill you if he wanted you?" Fai sniffed, "Do you know nothing about us? Incubus and succubus can't truly die, he'll revive once there's enough sexual drive nearby. He'll have a tremendous pain, but he'll re-awake. He sought only to injure me terribly. I suppose once he awakes I can fool around with him, and I'll have more than enough energy from him and the awakening energy to pay-back, my Lord." Sesshoumaru grunted, "There's no need, incubus." Fai frowned prettily, "Please, milord? It would mean so much to me..." Rin blinked and asked, "How did he steal them in the beginning?" Fai turned and barly concealing her distaste, replied, "He took my jewel, it's where we store them. I don't like stealing fantasies, the once I cultivate are soo much better. He thought the same."
Sesshoumaru walked over to the succubus and picked him up. "I'll give him some of my blood and that should rouse him. Take your energy and leave." He pricked his finger again and Fai eyed it hungrily. He dripped it on its neck and mouth and dropped it back to the ground. "There. Rin let's go." Rin looked up from admiring Fai and replied, "Hai, Sesshoumaru-sama!" Fai bowed low, and said, "Sesshoumaru-sama, I'll remember this. Thank you, for your kindness." Sesshoumaru said emotionlessly, "I would have allowed you to die easily, or I'd have killed you both for disturbing me, if not for my charge. Thank her, for I am not kind."
Fai smiled and said, "I'll be sure to send you nice fantasies..." Sesshoumaru turned around and replied coolly, "Don't expect me to respond to them, I have no need for mere daydreams." The succubus began to stir, groaning and clutching its little head. "Well, I have business to attend too, milord. Pleasant dreams." She fluttered to the succubs who was slowly recovering. Rin looked at them and asked, "What do they intend to do, Sesshoumaru-sama?"
"Remember what Kamui told you about recreating, that's what they're going to do." Rin cocked her head to a side. "Can we watch?" Sesshoumaru paused, "Why would you want to do that?" Rin looked back curiously, "I want to know how its done, that's all." Sesshoumaru refrained from saying, "It's the same thing we did last night." He merely nodded and said, "I see." (A/N: What exactly does she think they did last? Baka no oona...) Looking at the pair he said, "Why not? However, perhaps you should ask before hand." Rin skipped forward, much to his surprise--he didn't think she'd actually do it--and asked, "Would you mind if I watched, Fai-san?" Fai looked at her with interest, "Why is that?" Rin blinked, "I'm just curious." Fai replied, "If you'd like. We don't really care."
