Yumika sat by a lake with Suburaku and Suburaku's twins (Kiyoshi and Kohana) running around. Sango's friend, Hiroshi came walking up. “Sesshomaru would like to speak to you.” In the same tone Sesshomaru had. He had fire red hair and silver eyes and was a shadow demon. He was 18 years old, same age as Yumika. Suburaku stood up noticing Hiroshi was taller then she was. “We'll talk later Yumika.” She said as she walked away.

The twins were too busy playing to notice their mother left. And Hiroshi sat next to her. She sensed another wolf coming up fast. She felt him behind her. “Koga.” He turned her around. “Hi!” he said like a kid. He had a huge grin on his face. She was still surprised they were the same age. “What are ya doing?” she couldn't help but to laugh. He smiled he loved hearing her laugh. “So what are you doing around here Koga?” “Oh, came to see if you wanted to meet Ginta's mate.” Yumika almost fell “Mate?!” she said surprised. “Yep.” “Uh...I don't know.”

He rapped his arms around her waist and shot up in the sky. “KOGA! What are you doing?!” from below she heard Kiyoshi and Kohana cry out for her. She looked behind her and seen Hiroshi jumped in to the sky and chased after them. She turned to face Koga and notice he didn't look like himself.

Hiroshi flew as fast as he could to get to her. `Why didn't I sense something was going to happened?' he notice she looked over his shoulder and seen him. He saw the tears running down her cheeks. `Dammit!' he was mentally hitting himself.

Yumika wanted him to let go but she was too afraid to even talk. Then she saw where he was taking her. Koga landed in front of his cave. He let go of her and started walking in the cave. Yumika just stood the scared. “Hey, Yumi over here.” a voice whispered. She turned her head to the voice and seen it was...

“Hey, Yumi over here.” He whispered to Yumika. She turned her head to him. “Hiroshi!” She whispered to where it was so quiet a human wouldn't hear it. “Come on.” He said holding his hand out. She reached out and he grabbed her hand and helped her onto his back. Once she was on she jotted off so fast it nearly made her fall off.

Once they got back to their camp both Kiyoshi and Kohana came running to Yumika and hugged her. Yumika got on her knees and looked them in the eyes. “Did you tell your mother?” “No, last time you got hurt you told us not to.” They both said. She smiled and nodded. She stood up straight and walked to Hiroshi. She looked at him in the eyes. “Hiroshi, why did you do that, you could have got killed.” She said with worry in her voice. “I don't care. I'll kill myself before I knew you would have got hurt.” “You really care about me, don't you?” she asked smiling. `Should I tell her?' “Yes. Yumika, can we sit I need to tell you something.” They went over and sat on a log that was by the water. “I need you not to be mad.” “Hiroshi, when have I been mad at you?” she asked smiling. “Never, but still.” He said smiling. “What do you have to tell me Hiroshi?” just as he was about to tell her Suburaku can storming in and snatched up the twins. “Inuyasha wants you.” She said speaking to Yumika. Yumika looked pissed off. “Tell him I'm busy.” Suburaku looked at her and nod slowly. “What were going to say.” “I don't know if I should tell you but I think I'm...” “Your what Hiroshi?” “I think I'm...falling    ” just and he was about to tell her Inuyasha can running in. “what do you fucking mean you're busy?” he demanded. Hiroshi stood up. “Don't talk to Yumika like that!”­­­ ­­­­­­­­­­Inuyasha ran to Hiroshi. “What will you do about it?” Hiroshi didn't answer. “Just my point, nothing.” Hiroshi pulled out his sword. “Boy put that away. You don't want to get your pretty face hurt.” “Hiroshi, please.” Yumika begged him. Hiroshi finally put it away and walked to the tear streak Yumika. “I'm sorry.” He said low. Yumika rapped her arms around him to hug him. “Don't be.” She said into his shoulder. Inuyasha growled. “Get your dirty hands off my woman.” Yumika let go of him and glared at him “What! I'm not any of yours!” Inuyasha glared back. “Fine but I warn you who will save when you get yourself in trouble?” “I will.” Hiroshi said hugging Yumika. She smiled stucked her tongue out at Inuyasha. He stormed away.

Yumika looked at Hiroshi and smiled. “What were you going to say before Inuyasha came?” “Oh, yeah...I think I'm...falling in love with...you.” Yumika smiled. “Why would I be mad?” “When I was younger I loved this one girl, Kayumi, and I told her that and she got mad and left the village.” She hugged him so fast making them fall back on to the ground. Yumika laughed and smiled “you alright?” Yumika asked still smiling. “Yeah.” She got off of him and held out her hand to help him up.
