I can see it in your eyes

The hatred you feel for me

But what is in your heart

Isn't always as it seems

 

When you yell and scream and fight

You push me away, each word hitting like a knife

But secretly you wanna pull me close

And say you'll never leave

 

You say you hate me

That you never want to see my face

But in your head your screaming I love you

And I'm the only one you want to see

 

You say that I am worthless, you say that I am weak

You say that I am heartless and and cold

But really I am special, I am stronge

I am the light that clears your dark soul

 

You say all these things

That you never mean true

You do all these things

That you wish you never did

 

Do not worry

For I see the truth inside

You hide it all away

But I know that you love me
