Hiding amongst the shadows of time.
(Authors note) hello people I’m sad to say this is the last chapter. But don't feel sad for part two will be out with 2 chapters by the 13 or 14th depending on school work. Anyway be prepared because there is allot of hints being given in the chapter. When part 2 comes out your going to be blown because of what is real. I’m thinking of doing 3 parts to the story. Summery: why does it seem that the fates have the most unexpected in mind for kagome. First the well. Then tapping in her miko powers. Then finding out that she as well as her family are...can't tell you that so early. Now with that info an sango on her side they set of to find there trainer and train there powers to the maximum strength, for the fear of the return to the dark lord. What will happen to the two in this crazy twist of a story? I’m not even sure myself. So please just read an enjoy! Remember 5 review and I mean it. i don't own inuyasha

Chapter 11: coming to an end an part of the truth behind things.

'So that was the infamous maru...why does he look so much like me, did father have anymore kids I know nothing off'
'Now where’s that damn monk...oh yeah, shit’ inuyasha cursed as he raced of east to kouga’s lands to get the womanizing monk.

After returning to the castle telling all of the great news of the defeat they waited in kagome's room for her to wake up. It had been almost a day since she had fallen into her slumber. She would mumble a few incoherent things like ' why him ' and ' there is no way ' other than that and a whimper she was silent.
"Look at the little solider, she needs some time" tierm told them
"It’s been a day almost she was sapost to waken an hour or so ago" aria said while rocking back and forth in her seat
" she is a strong warrior, she won the battle for us, she'll be fine just give her some time, until then I think we should discuss what is needed to tell the others" saphira said
"Right, everyone out that includes the kids" teirm yelled
"But mother I was with you I have just as much..."Angela tried to argue but her father picked her and dumped her over his shoulder
" hey put me down, put me down now or I’ll burn you" Angela yelled, tierm paid no mind to her threats as he walked to the door, the hallway was full of people who were just in the room. Silently teirm came out of the room with her on his shoulders. Flipped her off and walked back in slamming the door behind him. When Angela finally sat up the whole hallway was laughing at her expense.
"God damned it all” Angela yelled as she speed out the hallway.
(With inuyasha)
Inuyasha had made it into kouga's lands almost an hour ago an there was still no sign of him. Inuyasha had expected for the mangy wolf to meet him time he entered his territory. Now running closer to the caves of the wolves. He smelt miroku in one of the caves along with another female.
'Damn monk can't keep his hands to himself' inuyasha thought as he came to the entrance of the cave.
"Hello inuyasha looking for miroku” ginta asked as he came to the entrance of the cave
"Yeah go get the pervert" inuyasha said
"You should know that there will be another added to your group" ginta said
"What he do go get himself mated" inuyasha yelled
"Yeah an " the sleepy voice of the monk said as he walked out with another person. A female wolf. She had long snow white hair with gray streaks. Her eyes were the color of the sea. She was a little bit shorter than miroku. She was very curvy and had a slim waist. Her looks was of an innocent girl. She wore an outfit that was all white. Short white fur skirt easy for her to run in. a white silk camisole and a white fur half jacket. White fur was on her legs as guarders like kouga's. Around her neck was a white choker with silver spikes.
"So you are inuyasha, my name is cho” cho said in a Russian accent
"What’s it to ya” inuyasha said
"Inuyasha be nice to my mate or I’ll hurt you” miroku warned
"What ya going to do monk" inuyasha said in a challenging tone
"This you baka " miroku said an in a flash he was behind inuyasha with his staff under his neck choking the shit out of him. Inuyasha being the stupid on tried to get the staff away from his neck instead of using his claws to slash it. Cho an ginta were on the ground rolling around in laughter because of the faces he was making. He was starting to turn blue.
"Enough” a voice bellowed
All attention turned towards the wolf lord of the east. He stood on a cliff that over looked the inside of the cave. His blue eyes looked on of a storm as he watched there movements.
"What are you business here half breed" kouga hissed
"Nothing ya mangy wolf, I’m here to get the damn pervert" inuyasha yelled at the wolf, in a flash kouga was holding inuyasha up in the air, his hands around his throat
"Show me respect I am your soupier" kouga yelled in his face
"Never you fucking wolf, earn some" inuyasha gasped out clawing at the wolf demons hands
"Kouga let him down" cho said
"Why do you defend him sister” kouga asked
" because your going to kill him, get over what she did to you, I told you long before she was taken, an did you listen? No, you ran after her like a love sick puppy, get over it and find another" cho said her eyes flashing from her brother to her new companion.
"Fine for your sake” kouga said letting inuyasha drop to the ground with a ' thud '. He respected his sister even if they weren’t related by blood. She was his sister as he was her brother by marriage. Her mother an artic show wolf an his father an mountain wolf.
"What’s she talking about" inuyasha asked when kouga had left
"Oh kagome told kouga off at the ball so now he's depressed an taking his anger out on everyone" cho said with a sigh
"Told the wolf she didn't want him" inuyasha said while picking him up
"Can we go now" miroku said
"Yeah, were going to sesshouamru castle, we'll be there in a few hours if we move now" inuyasha said walking out the cave
"By ginta tells everyone that'll miss them an that were at sesshoumaru-sama's castle" cho said giving him a hug
"K sis sees ya" ginta said waving at the retreating figures.
(Back at the castle)
The people of the castle were in an uproar with rumors of what was going on. Some of the maids say that kagome was going to die an that sesshouamru was her mate. Others said that she was sleeping with the lord as his whore. Then there were some of the smarter ones who said that kagome would be awake soon an that she was nothing to sesshouamru. But who really knows after all there just rumors. Now in the room with her were sesshouamru, her mother, teirm, and saphira.
"Lord Sesshouamru we ask of favor of you" saphira said
"What is it" sesshouamru said wary of the demon in front of him
"Well its two things, one when kagome is well enough we have decided that everyone should hear this because this in the end will effect them as well" aria said lowering her head
"The second thing is we need you to remain calm as you are now when we say what we have to, if not I don't want to be forced to kill you" tierm said seriously, sesshouamru narrowed his eyes into deadly golden slits.
"You mortal could not harm this sesshouamru" sesshouamru hissed, his power was being tested and he wanted nothing more than to spill the blood of the one known as tierm.
"You wish to fight, a petty spar" teirm said getting the better of himself
"I think the both of you macho guys need to calm down, we don't need two dead people’s funerals to do” aria hissed her eyes never leaving kagome's face. Both men reluctantly nodded their heads still glaring at each other.
"Ugh mmm mommy" a pained voice called, all eyes flew to kagome's figure. Though her eyes weren’t open her arms for reaching to feel someone. Aria grasped kagome's hands in hers trying to wake the girl.
"Kagome honey you need to wake up, there is a room full of people who want to see your beautiful eyes." aria said shaking her hands little.
"Aria gives her a moment" saphira said
Kagome was in so much pain it felt like all her worst periods put together. She groaned as she tried to open her eyes but the light that hit her closed eye lids was just too bright for her. She tried to talk but her throat was so parched she was afraid she would damage it if she spoke anything else. Trying to move she did. She could here her mom talking to her. She could feel the 3 other persons in her room. She wanted to get up but she felt horrible. Deciding that she needed to tell them she opens her parched lips. Her tongue darting trying to moisten them.
"wa…water “kagomes weak voice croaked
"oh kagome...you heard the girl" aria hissed seconds later saphira handed her a cup of water, kagome dranked it eagerly. after a moment or so of deep breathing she managed to get into a sitting position.
"I hurt all over" kagome moaned
"what do you mean" tierm said
"it feels ...like all of...the worst cramps ever put together" kagome said panting trying not to yell in pain
"kagome” sesshouamru deep voice broke threw the air
"hun" kagome said tilting her head to look up at him.
"allow me to put some of my poison in your blood stream” sesshouamru said, everyone looked at him crazy then at kagome as she nodded her head.
sitting down on the bed next to her sesshoumaru grasped kagome's right arm. searching for a vain he found one on the inside of her arm. putting his claw there he cut her injecting the poison into her blood stream. slowly the pained face of kagome was replaced by one of confered.
" thank you sesshoumaru...now what?" kagome asked s she got out of bed to stretched
" there is going to be a meeting in an hour in my library, be there it concerns you...at least that’s what I believe, ask your family" sesshoumaru said as he walked to the door then out.
" well?" kagome asked
( outside the castle)
as soon as he and his shorten pack made it to the threshold of his brothers castle they were meet by a pissed off youkai lord.
" what are you doing here half breed, where is the dead thing" sesshoumaru hissed, in his hands his poison whip ready to strike
" calm down, she is where she belongs, dust to the wind, as for why I am here I came to see kagome, I have a feeling last time I was here I was an ass" inuyasha said quietly
" fine follow me " sesshoumaru said icily cold. walking behind the lord of the west into the castle they were meeting by a large crowd of people.

anyone who was someone was currently in the library waiting for the meeting that was called by kagome's mother aria. many of the demoness were pissed because the little ' bitch ' in their words had caught the eye of the youkai lord of the west. they wanted her blood spread over the four lands. one was about to make an comment when finally kagome's family entered the library. inuyasha sat near his brother as well did miroku and cho. they couldn't believe how different kagome and sango looked. they guessed spending 7 months away from a person your close too will make you feel that way.
quietly they walked to the front of the room to stop at sesshouamru deck. tierm sent a warning stair at the lord and his response was one of narrowed slit eyes an baring his fangs. tierm was taunting him with a grin. he knew this an apparently so did saphira so she kicked him hard in the one place that was special to both of them. tierm doubled over clenching his mouth closed in pain while the whole room snickered. kagome scanned the room, when her eyes fell on inuyasha she narrowed them.
" what are you doing here?" kagome asked her voice directed at inuyasha.
" umm look kagome when I was here last I...I wasn't myself kikyou did something to me, I don't know spell or potion, what ever it was it does not matter, she is of no concern to any of us anymore, she is dust in the wind. I’m sorry for whatever I did, for some reason I have an feeling I acted like a ass" inuyasha said so sternly it made sesshoumaru feel a little pride in his chest.

" oh I’m sorry I’m kouga's sister cho...I’m miroku’s mate" cho said proudly, sango started to shake with laughter

" milady I have no ideal what you speak of" miroku said as his hands reached to grasp on to her firm bottom
" pervert " cho yelled as she slapped him, now she sat 2 feet away from him arms crossed while the monk sat with a goofy grin on his face holding his red cheek. the room was in an uproar of laughter.
" okay okay people that ends the comedy for this part of the meeting now on to the serious issue" aria said
" yes, well this not only concerns kagome and sesshoumaru but the rest of you in the future" tierm said the room got deadly silent.
" sesshoumaru...in the future to come you will be the strongest demon known to walk the earth, surpassing your father in everyway" saphira said
" do not let this go to your head young one, remember what I’ve warned you back there, an this one, just because in the years to come you will become stronger do not let it get to your head, I have seen two paths to your life, if you get cocky then you good as dead, stay the way you are now till further on you will be fine, heed the warnings given to you sesshoumaru, they can very well save not only your life but the ones around you" tierm said
sesshouamru took a moment for this info to sink into his brain. he nodded his head now seeing what teirm meant in the room earlier.
" now I know there is a question that pledges your mind, the reason why maru looks like you is because that is the future you" aria said
both kagome and sesshoumaru stiffened up. they looked at each other then back at the woman before them.
" it is very true, some where in the future...maybe around the year of 1970 or 1980 on of those two sesshoumaru reinvented himself into maru to cover up the fact of his life span, in the future there are no demons, if there are they are the guardians or youkai rulers, the reason for this is because..." saphira tried to say but stopped when kagome suddenly stood up and started walking to the door.
" kagome" her brother called out softly not knowing what to do
" I think you lord sesshoumaru for your training an hospitality but I think me an my party shall be leaving tonight" kagome said the whole room gasped
" kagome are you nuts you found him, you found maru an now your going to walk out on him" souta yelled not believing his ears.
" souta!..this is not maru, this is sesshoumaru, a totally different complex person" kagome said looking at her brother
" what did you fucking expect? him to be just like maru, news flash no one can be there self in the future in the past" souta yelled
" no he didn't have to be like maru, true he shares things like his looks an his smarts but that’s not enough, anyone can be handsome, anyone can be smart" kagome said then paused
" I need something...one thing I could hold onto that was maru, I can't, I can't love him because I did not fall in love with sesshoumaru, but with maru, I can't love you, his past self because...I can't love someone who I consider an older brother, I refuse" kagome yelled crying at this point
" I see sesshoumaru as my brother, he has made me grow up, showed me things, given me a new reason to go on, until I see that he can open up an be himself which is maru, then I can not love him because in my eyes he is a brother" kagome said then ran out of the library with sango an amber following her
" no kagome wait" her mom yelled
" let her be" terms said
" bu..but" saphira, Angela and aria said
" we haven't even told her what we are, where were from nothing" saphira yelled
" I know but what I think is wise is for her to be on her own for a while, she needs to think things out for herself, not sheltered" tierm said firmly
" fine, fine then" aria said choking back a sob
" you are dismissed" sesshoumaru said suddenly, the whole room was out of there.
" I’m soo sorry sesshoumaru" aria whispered
" it is fine" sesshoumaru said sitting down at his desk
" tell me son why do you hide your emotions" saphira asked
" it is none of your concern" sesshoumaru said
" don't take that tone with my mate, like it or not were going to be family later on, its better to let it out then to old it in" tierm said
" I need not your help" sesshoumaru said, they all threw there hands in the air. was it them or was it that inu demons were stubborn?
"I just wished she would have heard the rest" saphira said sometime later as she watched the group of people leave the castle, sango was saying her goodbyes to saun as was saun to her.
"I know but we can not stop her, when the time is right we will tell her all that is needed to be known" tierm said as he hugged his wife
"I hope it is soon, the lands are in need of help" aria said as she stood on the threshold walls
"I know" they both said
Aria walked a littles way out a looked into the sky. There was not one star, this was not good. This meant that things were going bad at home. She really needed to tell this to them all, but it looks like the fates have interfered once more.
' oh kagome be save my child, sango souta watch after her, you three have not even been told half your destiny...who you really are' aria thought as one tear ran down her face.

anyone who was someone was currently in the library waiting for the meeting that was called by kagome's mother aria. many of the demoness were pissed because the little ' bitch ' in their words had caught the eye of the youkai lord of the west. they wanted her blood spread over the four lands. one was about to make an comment when finally kagome's family entered the library. inuyasha sat near his brother as well did miroku and cho. they couldn't believe how different kagome and sango looked. they guessed spending 7 months away from a person your close too will make you feel that way.
quietly they walked to the front of the room to stop at sesshouamru deck. tierm sent a warning stair at the lord and his response was one of narrowed slit eyes an baring his fangs. tierm was taunting him with a grin. he knew this an apparently so did saphira so she kicked him hard in the one place that was special to both of them. tierm doubled over clenching his mouth closed in pain while the whole room snickered. kagome scanned the room, when her eyes fell on inuyasha she narrowed them.
" what are you doing here?" kagome asked her voice directed at inuyasha.
" umm look kagome when I was here last I...I wasn't myself kikyou did something to me, I don't know spell or potion, what ever it was it does not matter, she is of no concern to any of us anymore, she is dust in the wind. I’m sorry for whatever I did, for some reason I have an feeling I acted like a ass" inuyasha said so sternly it made sesshoumaru feel a little pride in his chest.
" thank you for saying this, my soul is one in me, thank you...who is she" kagome asked
" oh I’m sorry I’m kouga's sister cho...I’m miroku’s mate" cho said proudly, sango started to shake with laughter
" is there a problem" cho hissed
" no no it’s just...you've tamed him" sango said laughing into saun’s shoulder, cho blushed a fine color of red.
" milady I have no ideal what you speak of" miroku said as his hands reached to grasp on to her firm bottom
" pervert " cho yelled as she slapped him, now she sat 2 feet away from him arms crossed while the monk sat with a goofy grin on his face holding his red cheek. the room was in an uproar of laughter.
" okay okay people that ends the comedy for this part of the meeting now on to the serious issue" aria said
" yes, well this not only concerns kagome and sesshoumaru but the rest of you in the future" tierm said the room got deadly silent.
" sesshoumaru...in the future to come you will be the strongest demon known to walk the earth, surpassing your father in everyway" saphira said
" do not let this go to your head young one, remember what I’ve warned you back there, an this one, just because in the years to come you will become stronger do not let it get to your head, I have seen two paths to your life, if you get cocky then you good as dead, stay the way you are now till further on you will be fine, heed the warnings given to you sesshoumaru, they can very well save not only your life but the ones around you" tierm said
sesshouamru took a moment for this info to sink into his brain. he nodded his head now seeing what teirm meant in the room earlier.
" now I know there is a question that pledges your mind, the reason why maru looks like you is because that is the future you" aria said
both kagome and sesshoumaru stiffened up. they looked at each other then back at the woman before them.
" it is very true, some where in the future...maybe around the year of 1970 or 1980 on of those two sesshoumaru reinvented himself into maru to cover up the fact of his life span, in the future there are no demons, if there are they are the guardians or youkai rulers, the reason for this is because..." saphira tried to say but stopped when kagome suddenly stood up and started walking to the door.
" kagome" her brother called out softly not knowing what to do
" I think you lord sesshoumaru for your training an hospitality but I think me an my party shall be leaving tonight" kagome said the whole room gasped
" kagome are you nuts you found him, you found maru an now your going to walk out on him" souta yelled not believing his ears.
" souta!..this is not maru, this is sesshoumaru, a totally different complex person" kagome said looking at her brother
" what did you fucking expect? him to be just like maru, news flash no one can be there self in the future in the past" souta yelled
" no he didn't have to be like maru, true he shares things like his looks an his smarts but that’s not enough, anyone can be handsome, anyone can be smart" kagome said then paused
" I need something...one thing I could hold onto that was maru, I can't, I can't love him because I did not fall in love with sesshoumaru, but with maru, I can't love you, his past self because...I can't love someone who I consider an older brother, I refuse" kagome yelled crying at this point
" I see sesshoumaru as my brother, he has made me grow up, showed me things, given me a new reason to go on, until I see that he can open up an be himself which is maru, then I can not love him because in my eyes he is a brother" kagome said then ran out of the library with sango an amber following her
" no kagome wait" her mom yelled
" let her be" terms said
" bu..but" saphira, Angela and aria said
" we haven't even told her what we are, where were from nothing" saphira yelled
" I know but what I think is wise is for her to be on her own for a while, she needs to think things out for herself, not sheltered" tierm said firmly
" fine, fine then" aria said choking back a sob
" you are dismissed" sesshoumaru said suddenly, the whole room was out of there.
" I’m soo sorry sesshoumaru" aria whispered
" it is fine" sesshoumaru said sitting down at his desk
" tell me son why do you hide your emotions" saphira asked
" it is none of your concern" sesshoumaru said
" don't take that tone with my mate, like it or not were going to be family later on, its better to let it out then to old it in" tierm said
" I need not your help" sesshoumaru said, they all threw there hands in the air. was it them or was it that inu demons were stubborn?
"I just wished she would have heard the rest" saphira said sometime later as she watched the group of people leave the castle, sango was saying her goodbyes to saun as was saun to her.
"I know but we can not stop her, when the time is right we will tell her all that is needed to be known" tierm said as he hugged his wife
"I hope it is soon, the lands are in need of help" aria said as she stood on the threshold walls
"I know" they both said
Aria walked a littles way out a looked into the sky. There was not one star, this was not good. This meant that things were going bad at home. She really needed to tell this to them all, but it looks like the fates have interfered once more.
' oh kagome be save my child, sango souta watch after her, you three have not even been told half your destiny...who you really are' aria thought as one tear ran down her face.
