Author notes: Err, I have not been updating in alooooong while *scritch scratch* well, number one, I thought no one liked it >.< thanks to Silv. Drag. Youkai, (who emailed me personally, when I barely check my email now =3) I will continue this story, and err, to the other readers (I dunno, I never check the reviews now and then, gotta email me to make me write, lol…) I dedicate this to all of you! (Err, if someone hates me or flames me that Rin is not in this story, it's because I forgot, but she will make an appearance later, I promise! Chapter five

"The birds are chirping their carefree life, when unknowingly the world is in decisive danger.." She paused. "Why kami-sama appease us so? Is it because the world is killing its life by and by, as time passes on?" Thus she continued out into the silence as her voice fall into a melody, soothing the wind beyond…

Sesshoumaru ear pricked at the sound as he gracefully jumped on another tree. "What is that sound, I, Sesshoumaru hear?" He sniffed as his silvery hair dance along with him. He swiftly glided to another, then to another tree, almost reaching his destination along a woody path nearby a village. (A/N: Moody, woody, wet, damp, whatever, I'm using too much adjectives. T.T)

"What's that?!?" a villager said. Kagome's eyes darted to the sound of a thump and a tree swishing. Sitting up from her position, she then took her sword, and turned the hilt to the side, and bit the string from the hilt to make it tighter. "It's time to play, fluff ball." She smiled humorously. Disappearing out of her hut, she stopped at the uneven kept ground while the dirt kicked at the sudden `pit' stop. "Where is everyone?" She looked at the silent village, where as a damp cloth hanging on a line swishing as the silent clatter of the hanged pan makes a grotesque and lonely sound.

"Miko. Girl." called a blunt Sesshoumaru. His emotionless face looked at the beauty, silently awed at her. (A/N: Like this, *drools*) Her knuckled cricked dangerously while her sword glint maliciously. "What are you doing. Here." She sneered out. "I am no girl, nor am I a pure. Tell me, NOW!" A deep chuckle emitted from Sesshoumaru. "I smell the scent of my brother on you, and no, not a claimed one, are you?" He continued. "His blood was easy to catch in a scent, blood was everywhere, and I believe, you did this?" Kagome gripped the hilt in her sword, while her hair was changing to a metallic color. "Yes." She replied. In a smoky flash, she was covered head to toe in a black cloth tightly around her, while her sword was strapped behind her back. She flashed behind him, and Sesshoumaru quickly dodged the blow as a clang echoed out. Both of them landed unceremoniously on the ground dirt.

Sesshoumaru grimaced. Kagome huffed. "A tie, I, Sesshoumaru sees?" He hastily said. "Ahhh, just shut up!" Kagome yelled. Sesshoumaru gritted his teeth. "How dare you speak to me like that?!? Face your doom, miko!" Flipping backwards, she threw a smoke-like substance to the ground, blinding Sesshoumaru to stall him, and then landing with her palms down. Sesshoumaru didn't panic; he had ears and a nose to cover that fact. His ear picked up a sound coming from the rear end of the right arm. He slashed to Kagome, making her blood pour out from her left thigh. Kagome winced. In slow motion, she jumped 6 inches in the air, and vanished into the smoky air. He sniffed. "Where are you miko?!?" She smiled. She appeared behind him, closing her fingers on the strings. Lines appeared around Sesshoumaru. "Wha-ARRG!" Sesshoumaru grunted in pain. She threw a deeply embedded knife in him. "Say hello to the stars for me." Kagome said sadistically. She pulled the rope around her fingers, and that then triggered throwing stars everywhere. Having a knife deeply into his thigh, he leaped out of the way and hit hard onto the ground. His hair soaked with blood. There were cuts and bleeds everywhere. "The same move, the same ending." Kagome laughed. She then headed back home, her esteem rising from her victory.

A girl, her clothes ragged and torn limped down the dirt path. When seeing Sesshoumaru's bloody body, she gasped and limped faster to him. "Wha happened?!?" she said. "…" There was no reply or just a sound. Taking this as a hint, she did the thing a little girl could want to do-which was, drag his body to a safe place while his shiny hair and fluffy thingy is kept clean. (A/N: I would do that XD ohhh…look how it feels…*grabs Sesshoumaru's tail* XD

Silent huts was soon filled with bustling people again, as they tend to their work back in the village, while Kagome swooned with guilt and regret. Her hair is back to its normal color. "Oh my…What have I done?!?" Kagome then sobbed onto the ground of her hut. "What is it my child?" Konwa said, entering her hut. "I-I have done something really drastic, and very cold". Kagome replied, and then sniffed. "I killed two living beings, that is not what our kind do!" She blurted out. Kagome hugged her pillow tight. She continued. "I felt like I was being…controlled, taken over my something I want…it just felt. Right." Kagome said in a daze. "Oh my…" Konwa gasped. "You didn't control it!" Konwa shook Kagome rapidly, gripping her shoulders hard. Kagome then screamed out "I DIDN'T CONTROLL WHAT?!?" then she cried and ran out of her hut, trying to find that one man again…
