Chapter one: The sorrowful truth

"Kagome?!? Where are you?" "right here mum!" Kagome said. "Kagome, you have been training since you were very young at 5, now you are 17 and being a woman! I have to tell you the truth." *uh oh, is it the talks about training too hard again? The last fight got ugly….* "Kagome?" "huh?!? Oh sorry mum, so watcha wanna talk about?" Kagome said. "well, Hmmm…..how am I going to start this….uhhhh….hmmm…oh well, I need help…sister! Come over here!" "what?" "hiya aunt!" Kagome exclaimed, happy that she was interrupted. After the adults talk, they walked to Kagome. "Kagome?" "yes? Mum, aunt?" "well, for one thing, I'm not your mum and she's not your aunt, we are your mother's retainers. Listen, you have been training hard, and is VERY powerful we can see in your unpowerful form, and still you are as powerful as your mom even at this state, you are actually a mystical human, with huge samurai strength that is learned." Said the retainer. "Kagome?" said the other retainer. "we are still your adoptive parents, and we will always will. We shall teach you how to transform in your mystical powers state, ne?" said the retainer, or so called `mum'. "……." Kagome can't say anything, she almost fell off the log she was sitting on in the zen garden. She always train here.

*Kagome's point of view*

I am so shocked of what my adoptive mother said. After all of these years of training, I am really strong, but why now does they have to say the story now? And…..'mystical?' this is really weird. I can't say anything. Why now? Why me? Why do I have to suffer the consequences of my happiness? I knew there's a catch to this training. Hmm….seems so. "kagome?" My adoptive mother asked. "yes?" "are you okay? I see you are deep in a daze, should I leave you alone for you to think about it? You know It's your job as a hime." My adoptive mother said after finishing her story of the past. "yes I'm fine" I said, even though I lied, but I really do need to think about it all of the sudden.

*end of kagome's pov*

At fast speed, Kagome went out to the forest where she usually goes since it was her favorite part of the day. She sat at the green grass, a cool breeze went flying past her. She was so in a daze that she didn't even know that she was intently watched. "ah this place is so beautiful!" Kagome exclaimed. She was in the deep part of the forest where the cherry blossoms grow and the green grass stretching around the blossoms. "It certainly makes me feel relaxed." Kagome said. "hmm…lets see, I'm the heir of the vast northern land of the samurai, I have mystical powers and need to claim my lands back." *sigh* "I really need to train to get my mind relaxed. With that Kagome ran of in a very fast speed and flew into the air now diving in a circular motion and with a flash she landed right back down. Then silence. "hmm….seems like I over did myself." The dead looking trees were cut into neatly cutted wood for fire. Dozens of tree half cutted logs were in a neatly shaped pyramid waiting to be lit up for fire. "well, whadda you know, I guess we won't be needing wood for a while" kagome chuckled to herself.

*Sesshomaru's point of view*

I was really surprised at her powerful strength, also in her beauty. What am I, Sesshomaru, Lord of the western lands saying! I should make myself noticed, making sure she knows this is MY land, and I should be feared of, no one should interfere in my lands. With that, he ran at fast speed, no human can handle seeing. (like a flash, like when in a blink of an eye, Sesshomaru is in front of you.) But kagome was sensing something finally and moving at an incredible speed like Sesshomaru's, she was before him, punching in his stomach. "I may be a girl, but I'm not so stupid!" The girl yelled. The pain, but I shall not show it to this, human. She is so fast, no human can hurt me so and be in this speed! I cannot be humiliated. I should kill her right now for this. "You shall die!"

*kagome's point of view*

Damn, he fast, never have I fought a youkai fast as him….a worthy opponent I suppose. Damn…I should of sensed him earlier, If I wasn't so caught up in a daze. She swiftly dodged his attack, following with "you shall die" quote.

*end of pov*

"why are you attacking me all of the sudden?!?" Kagome yelled as she dodged another attack. With that he stopped attacking. Kagome, taking advantage at the point, hit him at the base of the neck and therefore, paralyzing him. "What was the attack for wench." Sesshomaru said in a calm matter-of-factly voice. "In case of an attack you baka." Said Kagome in a I'm-smart-don't-bother-saying-anything voice. "wench" "baka" "human" "damn right idiot" `hmmm…where did that came from' kagome thought. "Just answer my question baka!" Kagome yelled. "you are invading my land, therefore an enemy" Sesshomaru said in a It's-a-fact voice. Kagome, not know the the paralysis is wearing off, dodged the attack. "oh so that's it huh? I didn't know SINCE I come here EVERYDAY you baka." Kagome yelled. "I guess we settle this, we fight, if you win, you can have this area of land, if you lose, you die." Sesshomaru said behind a usually stoic mask. "deal" kagome said. "fool!" with that Sesshomaru charged off in her direction.

Kagome: *pulls an arrow back and accidentally shot it at Sesshomaru's butt* Uh oh….I missed….

Me: Uh….It's gonna get ugly, better end this right now…..
