Chapter one: Jealousy In His Eyes

 

 

 

 

“Inuyasha, come on, were going to be late for the first day of school!” a girl with raven hair and dark brown eyes yelled, pounding on the wooden door. She wore a baby blue capris and a white t-shirt, her baby blue and white Nike shoes matching with her outfit. The girl sighed and laid her forehead on the door. “Please open up, Inuyasha!” the girl yelled.

 

Suddenly the door swung open, launching the girl into a silver haired boy's arms. His waist length silver hair was in a mess and he only wore his black boxers. “Can't keep off me, eh Kagome?” the hanyou teased, winking at her.

 

Kagome huffed and kicked him with all her might, sending him sprawling on the floor. Kagome `hmph'ed and crossed her arms. “I knew those karate classes came in handy.” Kagome laughed, grinning at the hanyou struggling to get up.

 

“Ha ha ha. Very funny, Kags. Just wait for me downstairs, I'll be there in a jiffy.” Inuyasha went in his room to grab some clothes and jogged across the room, into the bathroom.

 

Kagome huffed and nodded. “Hurry up; we only have 30 minutes left.” Kagome reminded him, giggling softly.

 

Inuyasha stopped dead in his tracks, slowly backing up to stare at Kagome. His mouth opened and shut, as he growled. “You woke me up when we have only 30 minutes to go to school?! Kags, the school is just a few blocks away! You wasted my sleeping time!” Inuyasha growled, slinging his towel over his right shoulder.

 

“Now it's 25 minutes.” Kagome replied, laughing, making a mad dash down the stairs.

Inuyasha sighed softly to himself and walked back to the bathroom, shaking his head slowly.

 

Kagome laughed as she went into the kitchen where Mrs. and Mr. Takashi sat, drinking coffee together while reading the newspaper.

 

Mr. Takashi had long silver hair and sun kissed gold eyes, and had a tall figure. A purple crescent moon was on his forehead, and two purple stripes on each side of his face.

 

Mrs. Taskashi had long black hair and welcoming brown eyes. She was slender and had a perfect figure.

 

“I see you woke Inuyasha already.” Rae (lets pretend that's her name) laughed, covering her mouth with her hand.

 

Inutashio smiled, slightly grinning. “Should we know something that you guys are keeping secret?” Inutashio grinned as she blushed.

“N-No! Inuyasha is just my best friend.” Kagome huffed as she was teased, but felt her face heat up.

 

“Oh, don't listen to him…. Inutashio's a jerk anyways.” Rae playfully stuck her tongue out.

 

Kagome giggled and noticed Inuyasha coming down the steps. He wore a red muscle shirt, tracing his 6 pack abs and muscles. He wore baggy blue jeans with a black belt holding it up and red and white K-Swiss shoes. His black backpack was slung over his left shoulder.

 

“Bye Mrs. and Mr. Takashi!” Kagome said grabbing her black backpack in the couch.

 

“Bye you two!” Rae said, slightly waving.

 

Inuyasha waved and walked out, followed by Kagome. The two walked in silence as the walked to school. Inuyasha made a sideways glance at Kagome.

 

“Why are you blushing?” Inuyasha asked, curious.

 

Kagome blushed harder as he asked that question. She looked ahead and saw the school. “It's just that, your parents keep on thinking that we are together.” Kagome said, as they entered the school campus. They only had 15 minutes left to go to homeroom. Surprisingly, they both had the same schedules.

 

“Oh… Aren't you used to it now? Everyone thinks that.” Inuyasha replied, bored, looking up at the baby blue sky. He took a big breath and looked at her again.

 

Kagome just shrugged. “I don't really know.” Kagome put her hands behind her back, walking a bit faster. Inuyasha followed her silently. Kagome started to run into a boy who had his back turned to them, talking to a few friends.

 

“Kouga!!” Kagome squealed and jumped on his back. The surprised boy jumped a little bit and moved Kagome so she was facing him. Her legs were tightly wrapped around his mid-section and her arms were loosely wrapped around his neck.

 

Inuyasha groaned to himself as he looked at the high-school sweethearts. Kouga certainly changed over the summer. His dark brown hair had gotten even longer and was now pulled into a high ponytail. He had elf like ears and his deep blue eyes shone and glittered as he was happy to see his girlfriend. He had gotten buffer as his muscles were shone through his white tank top. He wore loose denim jeans and a bit of his boxers was showing.

 

Kagome sighed, laying her head on her boyfriend's shoulder. She looked up at Kouga and their eyes locked. Their faces drew near as their lips were locked forcefully. Kouga wrapped his arms around her tiny waist, slightly stroking the skin revealed. Kagome shifted trying to get comfortable but stopped as she felt Kouga stiffen and something poke her in her thighs.

 

Inuyasha stiffened as he smelt Kouga's arousal. Inuyasha's hands were tightly balled into a fist, his breathing became heavy. His fists were released as Kouga lowered Kagome to her own two feet. Kagome turned to him and was about to speak, but she stopped. He felt her stare into his sun kissed eyes. He cocked his head to the side.

 

Kagome looked at Inuyasha golden pools and found emotion showing in them. `Is that jealousy?' Kagome asked herself. She shook her head and turned to Kouga. “I'll see you later, okay, Kouga?” Kagome said to her boyfriend.

 

“Sure.” Kouga huskily replied, his face having a pink tint to it. He kissed her cheek and hugged her one last time. Kagome squeezed him tight and went over to Inuyasha and tugged him into the school. Kouga glared at Inuyasha's retreating form. `Stupid mutt… He thinks he can take my mate away from me.' Kouga thought angrily before turning to talk to his friends again.

Inuyasha and Kagome entered homeroom as soon as the bell rang. A few other senior students scurried inside as they sat at the middle row.

 

A young woman stood in front of the silent class. She had wavy brunette hair matching with her hazel eyes. Her pink lips were curved into a smile. She wore a black business outfit. The skirt was knee length and the coat was thin. Her high-heels were black and had three inch heels.

 

“Hello, class. I'm one of the new teachers in Sakuriyashi High. My name is Ms. Kyoko...” the brunette woman cheerily said, taking a few forms in her hand. “Anyone who does not want their elective and choose to move to another class, the forms are up in the table so you could change classes.”

 

A few people went up in the table and grabbed a form. Inuyasha looked at Kagome to see if she wanted to change classes. Kagome was fiddling with her pencil, a lost look in her eyes. Inuyasha tapped her shoulder and chuckled as she jumped, surprised.

 

Kagome blushed. “That wasn't funny!” Kagome hissed, glaring at him. Inuyasha continued to laugh. Kagome hmph'ed and started to pay attention to the teacher.

 

Ms. Kyoko took role and passed out I.D's to the class. She let everyone talk until class was over.

 

“Come on Kagome, I said I'm sorry already!” Inuyasha whined but Kagome still gave him her silent treatment. “I know I should have stopped laughing at you when you asked, okay? So will you please forgive me?”

 

Kagome nodded and smiled, launching at his open arms. People started to stare as the couple hugged. A few awww's were heard and both embarrassed, released each other. The bell rang and the students went out of the class. The last two to come out were Inuyasha and Kagome.

 

Kagome and Inuyasha's lockers were next to each other. They picked it out themselves. Kagome unlocked her locker and stuffed her book bag inside. She took out a glittery pink pen and a blue notebook. Inuyasha in the other hand didn't take out anything from his locker and just shut it closed.

 

A pair of arms encircled Kagome and she was turned around to meet Kouga. He nipped at her neck and pushed Kagome to the lockers, so her back was pressed up against her own dark blue locker.

 

Kagome closed her eyes moaned. “Hey love. How bout' if we skip next period?” Kagome released her neck to ask her seductively. Kagome closed her eyes to think about it.

 

“Sorry Kouga, but I can't. I've got my favorite class next.” Kagome pushed him away gently.

 

Kagome laughed as the wolf whined. “I'll see you later.” Kagome waved and grabbed Inuyasha's hand as she began to drag him away.

 

Inuyasha said nothing and yanked his hand back to his side. Inuyasha said nothing and ignored Kagome's questioning looks.

 

Kagome sighed in defeat. “Tell me what's bothering you.” Kagome sighed as they entered the Gymnasium.

 

Before, he could speak a yell interrupted them.

 

“Kagome, Inuyasha! Long time no see!!!”
