Chapter 1- Non Hanyou-ed Gang
It started out as a normal day for Kagome. Her raven black hair was spread on her pillow as she rolled over, away from the sun. She slowly opened her milk chocolate eyes and was welcomed by a pair of big, green eyes.
" Ahhhhhhhhh!" She screamed as she quickly rolled off her bed to try and escape whatever it was that was on top of her. She groaned as she slowly lifted onto her hands and knees to come face to face with her cat.
" Buyo... You stupid cat...don't you know I have an alarm clock to wake me u- "
*beep* *beep**beep**beep*
" Oh great... well at least you didn't wake me up at some god forsaken hour..." She mumbled as she stood up and walked slowly to her bathroom, but then turned around.
" Geez... I forgot I have to wake up Souta..." She mumbled again as she opened her door and walked down the hallway. She stopped in front of the neighboring door and knocked on it. When she received no reply, she opened the door, to find her brother had fallen onto the floor as well. She held back a laugh as she walked over to her brother, who seemed to be in a very deep sleep and leaned down toward him.
" Oi... Souta... get up already, school time!!" She called excitedly as he slowly turned to face her and opened his eyes.
" Why do I feel like I'm on the floor?"
" Because I dumped you off your bed when you didn't wake up..." Kagome grinned as Souta gave her a raspberry.
" Oh Shut up, you mean, evil sister..." Souta yawned as he slowly got up and walked over to his bathroom.
' Good.. Now for my shower...'She thought as she yawned and walked back into her room to finish getting dressed. It took her about 25 minutes to get ready, including her shower. She had decided to wear some black baggy jeans, with a white t-shirt that said "I think it's cute how you think I'm listening" in black lettering. She slipped her black tennis shoes on (A.N. My favorite type of shoe) and quickly brushed and pulled her hair up into a messy, wet bun. She quickly grabbed her backpack as she run down the stairs to her kitchen where her mom was cooking breakfast, Souta had just started eating his breakfast, her step-dad was reading the morning newspaper, and her grandpa was chasing Buyo around, grumbling something about 'Ancient artifacts aren't suppose to be cat food'.
" Good morning mom!" Kagome smiled as she grabbed her plate of bacon and eggs and started to eat quickly.
" Good morning dear!" Ayakai smiled back as she continued to wash the morning dishes.
Kagome lived with her Mother, Ayakai; her Step-father, Nakiro; Her grandpa, Shito; and her little brother, Souta. Kagome's real father had died in an airplane accident when Kagome was 9 and her brother was only 6. After a couple of years, Kagome, Souta and their mother finally made it through, and Ayakai ended up marrying Nakiro Karuhitsu, who was one of the most famous actors in the world. Nakiro was a very sweet and intelligent man, who knew almost every language and was even nice enough to let Ayakai, Kagome, Souta and Shito keep their last name, Higurashi. Ayakai and Nakiro got married three years ago, which meant that it had been a total of 9 years since the incident with her father, but their family was happy, just the same!
"Kagome!! I need to be at school early today! Can you hurry please!" Souta whined as he called to his sister. Souta and Kagome went to the same highschool, Kizaru High. So, Kagome usually drove Souta to school, seeming he was only just starting to learn driver's ed.
" All right! All right! I'm coming!" Kagome laughed as she grabbed her backpack and her keys as she run out the door.
" See ya!"
" Bye Kagome! Bye Souta!" Ayakai called as Kagome and Souta got into the car and drove off toward school. Kagome turned on the radio to hear a song by a guy named Nakamura, Inuyasha.
" Hm.... Interesting.... I don't think I've heard of him before..."
" Oh! Oh! I have! He's the guy that's the famous actor and singer, along with his half brother Takamura, Sesshomaru! They started acting when they were 7 & 9 and started singing when they were 11 and 13!" Souta raved as Kagome turned a corner.
" Oh... is that so? I might have to get his CD... or is it their CD?"
" Well, they have a CD together and they each have one single CD of their own..."
" Jeez Souta... How do you know these guys so well? It's like you've known them all your life!"
" I hear it all the time at school, and also I've read some stuff on them as well..." Souta grinned as Kagome laughed.
" I'll have to come to you if I need any info on them, hm?" Kagome smirked as Souta laughed.
" I guess so..."
" So, do ya wanna come with me to get those CDs at the mall today?"
" Sure! I want Sesshomaru's!"
" That's fine, I wanted Inuyasha's anyway, and we can share the one of them together, ok?"
" Deal!" They both laughed as Kagome pulled up to their school. They both got out and walked to the entrance, where they went their separate ways.
" Have fun Souta! Remember, mall after school, ok?" Kagome called as Souta nodded and walked into his classroom. Kagome walked over to her locker and was soon welcomed by her two best friends.
" Hey Kags! What was that about a mall?" The girl with mid-back, black hair asked excitedly.
" Rin, my brother and I are just going to get some CDs... not a whole closet of clothes..." Kagome giggled as Rin pouted.
" Fine... ruin my day...." Rin frowned as the other two friends laughed.
" Hey Kags, what CDs are you getting anyway?" The friend with brown hair asked.
" Oh, we heard these two guys, the Nakamura brothers, on the radio this morning, and got into this big conversation about them... so I decided that it'd be fun to get the CDs..." Kagome smiled as the three walked to class. They have had all their classes together since middle school, so they were always hangin' out together.
"Sango! Aren't those the guys that you were talking about the other day?!" Rin exclaimed.
" Yeah! They are! They're totally hot and awesome! And their even demons!! An awesome bonus!" Sango grinned as Kagome and Rin laughed. Demons weren't anything strange. In fact, they were normal. There were all kinds of priestesses, demons, and humans around, so if there weren't any, it'd be considered unworldly. The three girls when through classes together and it was soon lunch time.
" I AM STARVED!" Rin yelled as they walked to the cafeteria.
" So am I, I feel like I haven't eatin' anything!" Sango agreed.
" God you two, don't you eat breakfast?"
" Yeah, you know that! It's just I forgot to do my homework..."
" And I had to take Kohaku early today, so we didn't really eat this morning..." Sango finished as Kagome shook her head.
" Jeez, you two.. It's not healthy for you to skip breakfast." Kagome said in a motherly tone of voice.
" Yeah we know mom..." Rin answered as they all started laughing.
" Well hello there, my beautiful trio of girls!"
" Oh cut the romance, Miroku..." Sango growled as a guy with short black hair came striding over and sat next to Sango.
" Oh come on.... Is it really that bad being called beautiful?"
" It is, when it's coming from you..." Kagome smirked.
" Oh you girls hit me in the heart every time...." Miroku confessed sadly as all four started laughing.
" Hey you girls, have you hear, my cousins are moving up here Friday, and their coming to Kizaru High starting Monday!" Miroku stated proudly as if he was the president in front of his country.
" Oh really? How many of your cousins?" Kagome asked curiously.
" Well, two guys and a girl. They're all coming here, and I think you'll get along with my girl cousin, Ayame, like toothpaste, to a toothbrush!" Miroku smiled as the girls looked awkwardly at Miroku.
" Like toothpaste, to a toothbrush? What kinda association is that?!" Sango asked, afraid of what he might say next.
" Oh besides the fact that I didn't brush my teeth this morning... it was the first two things that popped in my head... ok, well not the first two things... But you would have hit me for that one..." He grinned sheepishly as they all starting laughing again. They continued to eat when a guy with a long-brown ponytail, and another guy with short, rusty-orange hair came walking up to their table.
" Hey guys! The orange haired guy spoke as he sat next to Rin.
" Hey Shippo!" Sango smiled as the brown haired guy sat next to Kagome.
" Hello there Kagome, how's my lovely woman doing today?"
" Oh not this thing again..."
" You are my woman, remember that Kagome?"
" Kouga, we've been through this, I'm not your woman... okay?" Kagome seethed as Kouga just grinned and started eating.
" Whatever beautiful!" He smiled as he continued eating. Kagome sighed as Sango and Rin tried not to laugh.
" Well, at least he's not calling you his wife... he can't...." Shippo smiled, still trying not to laugh.
" Yeah... I don't know if I should be afraid or happy about that one..." Kagome sighed again as all of them started to laugh, except for Kouga, who looked totally confused.
" Well, I got to go to the library to get some books, you coming Kags?" Sango asked as she threw her trash away.
" Sure! I have to as well!" Kags smiled as Sango and Kagome got up and started to walk to the library. They arrived to find a tall, dark guy with black hair standing just inside the door of the library.
" Maybe we should come back later...." Sango whispered as I nodded. We started to walk away from the library, and go back to the cafeteria , when someone grabbed Kagome's shoulder and gently turned her around.
" Why, Hello there Kagome..." the dark guy spoke as Sango looked a little pale.
" Hello Naraku.... can you please let my shoulder go so I can leave..." Kagome spoke through gritted teeth.
" Why? Where are you going in such a hurry..."
" Away from you..." She snapped as she slapped him on the face and quickly walked away, leaving Naraku looking mildly angry and amused.
" One day Kagome.... one day, you'll be mine..." Naraku whispered as he smirked and walked away.
" Jeez.... that was scary!" Sango exclaimed as we entered the cafeteria again.
" Jeez... that was fast...." Rin quirked as we both sat down.
" OH we didn't make it to the library... Naraku was there..." Kagome explained as Rin gasped and the boys growled.
" That damn guys always hanging over you... I hate it..." Kouga spoke as he cracked his knuckles out of habit.
" I know.... and he seems like he's going to kill you both sometimes... what the hells wrong with that guy?" Miroku replied darkly as he glared at Naraku who just entered the cafeteria with a brown-haired girl named Kikyo.
" Oh look....it's bitch and bastard.... the two siblings that should have never been born..." Shippo teased as the three girls giggled.
" Ok, well, why don't we go hang out at the God Tree, out back... at least until lunch's over..." Rin proposed as all of them lighted up a little, and started to walk to the God Tree.
" I wonder what Ayame's like..." Sango whispered as Rin and Kagome nodded in agreement.
" I'll tell you.. But it's for a price...." Miroku grinned as all the girls started to run away from Miroku.
" NO WAY IN HELL MIROKU!" The all yelled as the ran toward the god tree where Kouga, the wolf and Shippo, the fox were already waiting for there four friends for life!

" SESSHOMARU!! COME ON! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" A guy with silver hair yelled as he jumped around the villa with great speed. A guy just like him, slightly smiled as he dangled his brother's pants in front of him.
"Oh come on Inuyasha... what's the fun in taking them, then giving them back?" The silver haired guy, also known as Sesshomaru, smirked as the other silver haired guy jumped toward his brother.
" WE NEED TO GO!" Inuyasha yelled again as he tried to grab his pants from his annoying brother again but failed.
" Don't blame me Inuyasha... you're the one who waited to pack at the last minute..." Sesshomaru smirked again and dodged his brother's attack, only to have the pants snatched out of his hands by a red-headed girl.
" Sesshomaru.. That's enough... Besides, even if he waited until the last minute, that doesn't change the fact that he still needs to pack up....." the red headed girl spoke as she gave Inuyasha his pants.
"Thank you Ayame!" Inuyasha snorted as he slipped his pants on.
" I would have gotten them myself though..." Inuyasha grumbled as he stomped up stairs to finish packing.
" You always ruin my fun, Ayame..." Sesshomaru spoke, now his serious face was back again.
" Well sorry, but what are sisters for? And besides he's right Sesshomaru... he needs to pack! Especially, if we wanna get there soon. Otherwise, Miroku will wonder what the hell happened to us.. And how much I would love to tease my cousin around a bit, we should get there as close to the time we said we'd be arriving..." Ayame smirked as Sesshomaru smiled a little.
" Yeah.. I know what you mean... I'll go make sure I have all my stuff ready to go for the movers to pick up..." Sesshomaru said as he walked up the stairs his brother had just stomped up a couple of minutes ago.
" This is going to be a long trip...." Ayame smiled as she shook her head and walked into the kitchen to make something to eat.

"Oh come on Inuyasha... what's the fun in taking them, then giving them back?" The silver haired guy, also known as Sesshomaru, smirked as the other silver haired guy jumped toward his brother.
" WE NEED TO GO!" Inuyasha yelled again as he tried to grab his pants from his annoying brother again but failed.
" Don't blame me Inuyasha... you're the one who waited to pack at the last minute..." Sesshomaru smirked again and dodged his brother's attack, only to have the pants snatched out of his hands by a red-headed girl.
" Sesshomaru.. That's enough... Besides, even if he waited until the last minute, that doesn't change the fact that he still needs to pack up....." the red headed girl spoke as she gave Inuyasha his pants.
"Thank you Ayame!" Inuyasha snorted as he slipped his pants on.
" I would have gotten them myself though..." Inuyasha grumbled as he stomped up stairs to finish packing.
" You always ruin my fun, Ayame..." Sesshomaru spoke, now his serious face was back again.
" Well sorry, but what are sisters for? And besides he's right Sesshomaru... he needs to pack! Especially, if we wanna get there soon. Otherwise, Miroku will wonder what the hell happened to us.. And how much I would love to tease my cousin around a bit, we should get there as close to the time we said we'd be arriving..." Ayame smirked as Sesshomaru smiled a little.
" Yeah.. I know what you mean... I'll go make sure I have all my stuff ready to go for the movers to pick up..." Sesshomaru said as he walked up the stairs his brother had just stomped up a couple of minutes ago.
" This is going to be a long trip...." Ayame smiled as she shook her head and walked into the kitchen to make something to eat.
