His Woman

 

A word from the Author: Um…yeah, you can pretty much guess the pairings or this story by the title. If not…you really need to catch up with Inuyasha manga/anime series! Well, I hope you all like it! Please review! Oh, look, I said please…I must really want reviews. Flames excepted. Now, I don't want to ruin the story, but in the first chapter, the jewel is complete. Koga still has his jewel shards in his legs and arm! How can he if the jewel is complete? You'll have to read and find out! On with the story!

Kagome walked up to the, now dead, bear demon. Hesitantly, she reached for it's bloody corpse. “Ugh! Gross!” She thought. The demon's ripped flesh bubbled a little as an aftereffect of one of Kagome's arrows. Inuyasha sighed, “Will you get on with it?” He barked.

 

Finally, Kagome did manage to get the Jewel Shard from the bear's forehead. Kagome presented the jewel fragment to the almost round jewel around her neck. Both began to glow, and the fragment was purified, and the jewel calling to the missing piece. The last missing piece in fact. As the jewel began to complete its self, Kagome's heart gave a sad lurch.

 

“What will I do now? The jewel is complete. I have no reason to stay in the feudal era anymore...” Kagome thought. Kagome was brought from her reverie, when the now completed jewel, ripped from its delicate chain, and lifted into the air. A strange, but beautiful, glistening, powder floated down upon the group. Then, after an amazing burst of light from the jewel, it lowered back down into Kagome's waiting hands.

 

“Give the Jewel, Kagome.” Inuyasha said.

 

“You can't make the wish tonight.” Kagome said, “It's time for your transformation. The wish would reverse and make you human because your demon blood wouldn't be there to turn into full blood. You'd make yourself human.”

 

“Fine.” Inuyasha said, “I can wait one more night, I guess.”

Kagome lay wide-awake that night, her body refused to drift off to sleep. Something did not feel right about the jewel. Two things bugged Kagome about it. “Inuyasha can't make this wish. It is selfish. And HOW is the jewel complete? We don't have Koga's shards…”

 

Kagome looked up into the tree Inuyasha was in. He was fast asleep. “Good. I'm going home and seal off the well. Inuyasha will not get this jewel. I will miss my friends terribly though…” Kagome gathered her things, careful not to wake anyone. When at last everything was packed, Kagome set off into the night.

 

She made her way quickly and quietly through the thick forest. Bewildered, Kagome came to an open field. “That's weird. I should be at the well by now. Maybe I took the wrong turn at that path.” She thought. Suddenly, a wild wind came up. Kagome felt a arm wrap around her waist.

 

“Hello, Kagome.” Koga whispered in her ear. A shiver ran down her spine, and she almost melted at the sound of Koga's voice. “From what I hear, the jewel is complete. That means you can leave that Inuyasha and be my mate.”

 

“But there's something I don't understand Koga.” She said, “How is it complete when you still have your jewel shards?”

 

“Simple.” Koga said, “It's a completely different jewel. Now, will you come with me to my den?”

 

Kagome thought about this proposition. “If I play along, I could find out more about this different jewel…I could leave at any time I wanted. Koga would believe me that I was just taking a walk…I'll do it!” “Yes, I will come will you. But, I don't want to mate just yet…waiting a little while can make our mating more enjoyable...” She said seductively.

 

Koga smiled. “I guess I can wait awhile. Having you close to me will content me…for a while at least.” With that, Kagome climbed onto Koga's back and they were off in a violent swirl of wind.

Koga lead Kagome into the wolf demon clan cave. A fire was brightly burning, and male demons were spread out in various places and lifts. Many of the wolves remembered Kagome, and as soon as her scent reached them, they came running up to her. Kagome laughed, and began to pet as many as she could. “Oh! I remember you!” She said, as the wolves began making room for a big, dangerous looking wolf. “You were such the sweetheart.” Kagome knelt down in front of him, and scratched his ears. The wolf whined when she stopped.

 

“Come, Kagome. It is late. We must get some rest.” Koga said, “And you have to meet the females of the clan. Seeing as you will become the alpha-female.”

 

Kagome gulped, she was really going to have to play along to make everyone believe she was in love with Koga, and happy to be his mate-to-be. Kagome found herself being lead, through a wide space in the cave wall. Many women were sitting around a fire, further down the tunnel. Many other tunnels branched off from this one, Kagome noted. They all looked up to face Koga and Kagome. Kagome backed away a little, the women looked as if they could get real serious. But, now, they were acting like they were having a sleep over amongst themselves.

 

Many were laughing and joking about their mates. Others trying not to laugh, just to be polite. Kagome felt Koga's hand on her shoulder. She looked up into his beautiful blue eyes, he smiled. Her heart raced at his smile.

 

“Ladies, this is Kagome.” Koga introduced, “She is my mate-to-be.” The women burst into cheers. One shouted, About time, Koga! Kagome was pulled into the circle of women, were she was made quite at home. All the women and Kagome were soon good friends.

 

The men heard the cheers from the women, and were curious as to what Koga had announced. When the news was delivered to them, they too, broke into cheers. “But, why a human?” One dared to ask. The women abruptly hushed. They were dying to know this too. “There will be half-breed children.”

 

Koga growled. “There will not. Kagome is a Miko, you idiot.” Koga paused, then continued, “Miko's will produce full demon pups if mated with a full demon.” But, Koga couldn't help but feel worried about. `what if she produced half-breeds?' “I don't care! I will love any pups Kagome gives me. I love her, not her race.”

 

“Hey, my name's Kiri.” One female demon said to Kagome, “Since you have not been raised in a wolf demon tribe, you might need some information. I'll help you out.”

 

“Okay.” Kagome said. “I need all the help I can get if I'm gonna pass this off!” “What kind of information do I need to know?”

 

“First off, mate or mate-to-be, you still have to share a bed with Koga.” Kiri paused, letting Kagome take this in. “Next, at meals, you have to sit between Koga's legs…”

 

“What?” Kagome said.

 

“It's nothing sexual. It just symbolizes you trust Koga to protect you. If someone where to barge in and try to attack you, Koga would be right there to protect you and get you to safety.”

 

This and many other things were explained to Kagome before Koga came to get Kagome. Koga took Kagome by the hand and lead her very far down the tunnel. At last, they came to a wooden door. Kagome stepped inside. A huge, circular bed was against the wall (like a `C' with the space against the wall), another door that probably lead to an underground hot spring, a dresser against the far wall, and in the far corner many pillows (the kind they sit on in Japan).

 

Koga began to remove his upper armor. “Great. Kiri told me about this. Even though we're not going to be mated “yet,” I still have to sleep in the same bed as him with me and him nude. Ugh! Where did they come up with these rules?” Kagome thought. Kagome began to remove her clothing. Seeing this, Koga thought Kagome had changed her mind and wanted to be mated that night. “Kiri explained to me, Koga. Don't get any ideas.” Kagome said, seeing Koga smile. Koga frowned, and climbed into the bed, much to Kagome relief. She did not want him watching her undress. Removing her last article of clothing, Kagome climbed into the bed on the opposite side.

 

Koga looked Kagome up and down. He very pleased to see that her breasts where generous. Kagome blushed a deep red. Koga laughed, “You have no reason to be ashamed, Kagome. You are my intended mate.” “That's what you think. Well, I still have to play along.”

 

“I love you Koga.” She said, “Good night.”

 

In no time at all, Kagome was asleep. Koga wrapped his arms around her possessively. Just hearing his love tell him he loved him was enough for that night. He wanted to take her right then and there, but he had to respect her wishes. “I love you, my Kagome.” He whispered. Kagome, unknowingly, smiled in her sleep, hearing these words. Koga soon, also drifted off to sleep.
