Chapter 1.

"Hey sango what's up" Kagome says "nothing" sango replies. As they walk to school the two crabbiest jerks in the whole school walk up toward them and knock over sango's books that were cradled in her hands. "Hey" sango shouts, "ha ha ha real funny inuyasha" Kagome says sarcastically. "Yea real funny miroku" sango says as she bends down to pick up her books. "See you two wenches later, ha ha" Inuyasha says as they run off toward school. ~A/N sango is wearing a short skirt~ "gosh I hate them"

******************at school****************

"finnally we're here at school, my favortie place, NOT" says kagome.

Mekiko runs up to kagome and sango "oh my gosh you two are totally brave to be doing what you are doing." "what are we doing?" sango asks. "you two are going out with InuYasha and miroku they are such slobs, I can't believe that you two..kissed them" "WHAT" kagome and sango yell in unisin. "no we are not" yells kagome. Then out of the coner of her eye she can see inuyasha and miroku waving at them. "I wish that" kagome starts to say. "what do you wish" sango says to kagome. When she said that sango broke kagome out of the dream state that she was in.

"who is…"sango was cut off in the middle of her sentence. There was a bright light and then everything went black. Everyone had blacked out.

***********Kagome's POV*********

I woke up to a bright red light and then instinctively thought "oh no I'm blind." But after I got used to it I looked around and it looked like a war zone. Everyone was covered in red ash, but I could see someone off in the distance. Who is that. Oh great it's InuYasha. I don't know what came over me but I ran up to him and gave him a big hug.

**********InuYasha's POV*********

god damn the dumb light. Who is that in the distance. Oh it's just kagome Fuh! Like I care. Oh no why is she running toward me, why is she hugging me?

"get off me," Inuyasha said pushing kagome off of him. When he looked at kagome there were tears in her eyes. "what's the matter" Inuyasha asked. Kagome pointed to the farthest part of the courtyard, then she said something in a muffuled voice, "mekiko is dead." Then she broke down. InuYasha caught her just as she was falling and held her in his arms, "it's ok, it's gonna be fine".

After Inuyasha had calmed Kagome down they sat down and started to think about what happened. InuYasha said "the last thing I saw was a bright light and then it went black" kagome explains "yea but did you see the man that was standing at the top of the school." "speaking of the school, do you even know where we are, hello, InuYasha are you there?" What oh yea, why am I even speaking to you, I hate you." Inuyasha yells as he storms away in the oppisite direction of kagome. "That's no use Inuyasha," Kagome yells after him, "I am the only one left in this school, everyone is unconsious" "So what I will go talk to my unconsious friend, anything is better that talking to you." Inuyasha yells back.
