Ukay sat alone in her tower room; her childish thoughts wandered out her ajar window. She willed a gust of wind to create a breeze upon her body. Ah! What a beautiful day. I wish these kinds of days happened sooner She decided she needed to have a little discussion with Korami; his failure to attend “Operation Breakfast” was unacceptable. He was probably sleeping too! That makes me so mad! She walked quietly down to the main level, most of the boards of the old house squeaked. Some even moaned at night! She walked past Ayumi who was playing with Rae in the hallway. She stopped outside of Korami's door, contemplating whether to knock, or just go in. She read the sign she had made him. It read:

Pah! She walked into the room, pushing open the door hurriedly. Immediately a disgusting stench met her nose. The smell of `` stinking tuna, mingled with dirty socks, and B.O. Korami was sleeping. (Not unusual for him) He was sound asleep. She walked over to him quietly, forgetting to shut the door behind her. She poked him, but got no response. She walked down to the end of the bed. Now let's try a real method... Hee hee hee! She pulled the blanket off of him, trying to scare him awake, with the cold draft she had manifested. He's in his boxers! Ewww! How can he sleep like that! It's so disgusting!

After some contemplation she decided to use a more gentle method. She shook him violently until one, Oh! Then two sleepy gray eyes popped open. “Whaaa... time is it?” All he could release was a groan, from his half open drooling mouth before falling asleep once more.

Norukai lept nimbly up the staircase where battered wallpaper hung loosely from the surrounding walls. His claws dug into the walls leaving small marks in them. He scaled the final one, jumping onto the main floor level. He rushed pass Sesshomaru who was busy looking in some closet. He was muttering curses. Norukai ran down the vacant hallway. His destination: To find Ukay! (The smartest of all the kids) Norukai's large ears perked upward, he heard a noise coming from Korami's open door. It was muffled, but he could make out Ukay's voice.
