A/N: Sorry it took so long. I've been on the internet all night looking for information on different diseases and types of medicine for the thing that Kagome has. (Can't tell you what it is yet.) I'm going to be alternating from on P.O.V. to another so if you don't like it, don't read it. It's the only way to keep the story going. As a response to one of the reviews I got: Okey, think about it, what romances are there in Inuyasha and what are they in House? Now make a list and cross out the ones that can't go to the modern era. Now you have a list so leave me alone. I don't own House or Inuyasha.
"Kagome? Are you awake?" Inuyasha whispered from where he was sitting by the bed.
"Hm? Inuyasha? What are you doing here?" the young woman asked as she slowly woke up.
"Kaede gave me a spell that should keep me completely invisible for a few hours. Unless they have miko powers like you, they won't see me." Inuyasha looked around. "So what is this place anyway?"
"It's a hospital. Wait a second. How did you get here?"
"I was, uh, worried. You didn't come back. When I went to your house, you weren't there."
"I just got a little sick. Don't worry about me. How's everyone doing back at Kaede's?"
"That's strange. Foreman, get over here. Look at this." Cameron said looking through the glass at her patient.
"Yeah, it looks like she's hallucinating. I'll let House know. It's a new symptom." he said as he looked into the room.
"No, wait. Look at the monitors." Foreman looked where the other doctor had been pointing and he blinked in surprise.
"Everything's normal."
"That's not normal."
"So she's hallucinating, but she's not hallucinating?"
"Get House. I'm going to see what's going on."
Inuyasha watched as one of the men in the white jackets walked over to the room where he and Kagome were talking decided that it was time for him to take his leave.
"Listen, Kagome. I'm going to be right on the roof so I can hear everything that's going on in this place. If you need me just call me." With that he jumped out of the window leaving Kagome alone in her room.
Suddenly the door opened and one of the doctors that she had met earlier walked in. "Hello Doctor Forman." she said, trying to smile even though her head was hurting.
"I need you to listen to my voice." the man said walking over to the bed and sitting down on the chair next to it.
"Is there something wrong, doctor?" asked the young woman, worried.
"Do you hear any other voices besides mine?"
Kagome's mind began to panic. 'Oh no. He couldn't see Inuyasha just now. He thinks that I'm talking to myself!' She tried to appear calm. "No. Just yours. Why? Is something wrong?" Kagome repeated her question.
The man pulled out his flashlight and turned it on, pointing it at Kagome's eyes, moving it from side to side. "Now, Kagome I need you to follow the light with your eyes." Kagome did what she was told and followed the light. After a few more tests the doctor stood up and sighed.
"I'll be right back," the man said as he walked out of the room.
"There's no way that the girl could have had a hallucination without us seeing it on the monitors," Dr. Foreman said as he followed Dr. House and the two other doctors down the hall.
A/N: This was an easier chapter because there weren't any special medical things in it. The next chapter should be up soon.
