How Can we be together?

A/N I have been inspired to write when I was watching TV this morning and I want to write this down before I forget

Plot of story Inu is a creature of the night that turns to stone by day. Kagome is a girl that gets dragged into Inus world of danger and mystery. How can Inu keep Kagome from getting hurt? And how can these two ppl from totally different worlds be together?

Prologue

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!" a young boy screamed as he ran from the creature. The creature that had killed his mother killed his father and killed all that he had ever loved. Now now it was after him and he was scared to death. He just ran and ran not even looking were he was going he just had to get away form the creature that was all he knew. He ran out of the house he ran through the yard. He ran until he could not run any more and even then he continued to run. He could not be caught he just had to survive. But little did he know that he had just run into the creature he had been trying to get away from. Arms wrapped around his shoulders and he looked up in to the face of the creature and all he saw was red the blood red of the creatures and that was the last thing he saw before he passed out.

Over 400 years later

The same young boy that had been running all those years ago was now sitting looking at the yard that he had once run across trying to escape. He was now much older and was no longer the boy. Instead he was tall with long silver hair and dog-ears at the top of his head. Both were things that he acquired from when the thing he hated most in the world the had become. That night a little over 400 years ago he had become one of the creatures of evil. One of the creatures of the night. He was now forced to hide in the shadows and his body no longer held the warmth it once had. He was the living dead. He could no longer walk among the living but he also could not walk among the dead. He was trapped and had nowhere to go. He was a guardian now. Even thought he was now one of the creatures did not mean that he had to act like one of them. Instead he protected others so they would not become the creatures. He did not want any one to have to go through what he went through. He would protect as many as he could and give them a second chance, which he had not been so lucky to receive. He looked up to see the one he had been tacking for a while now. She was the girl that now most of the creatures where after. They where after her because she had power a power she did not even know that she had. The man stood with his hair blowing in the wind. His black leather trench coat contrasting with his silver hair. He followed the girl into the night.
