Kagome sighed angrily as she stood with the group. Inuyasha was once again off talking with Kikyo. She had finally had enough of this. She set her things down and she went to find him. She stopped walking when she heard Voices. She hid behind a tree and she watched in Horror as Kikyo Pulled Inuyasha close and she kissed him.

 

Kagome turned and she sank to the forest floor. She wiped her tears away. She stood and she let out a growl. This was it, she couldn't take it any more. She was going home and she wasn't coming back. She walked up the group, only to find Sango and Miroku fighting,

 

`Why must you ask every woman who comes past us to bear your child. With me standing next to you!”

 

Miroku backed up and he sighed, “Sango I can't help the way I am ok…Ill try to stop.”

 

Sango yelled through angry tears, “You said that last time Miroku….”

 

Sango ran into the forest with Kilala on her heels. Kagome growled at Miroku and she ran after them, “Sango WAIT!”

 

Sango stopped and she fell to her knees, Kagome knelt next to her and she held Sango tightly, “I cant take it Any more Kagome…I have nothing left here….”

 

Kagome thought for a moment and she smiled, “Sango come home with me..My mom would love to have you…You can live with me…Kilala can come to.” Sango smiled and she nodded, “Alright.” The girls jumped onto Kilala's back and they flew off towards the well. They landed and Sango Picked Kilala up, Kagome took Sango's hand and they jumped into the well.

 

When they appeared, Kagome could hear her mother and Grandfather. “Mom…Grandpa!” They climbed out of the well and Annie smiled, “Kagome, your home early.” When Sango Climbed out still in tears, Annie ran to the well, “what happened?” Kagome Helped Sango out and she walked past them, “Ill explain later.”

 

Kagome Took Sango up to her room and she gave Sango a nightgown. “Get some sleep, Tomorrow I will show you around.” Sango nodded and she changed clothes. Within minutes Sango had fallen asleep curled up against Kilala.

 

Kagome Sighed and she walked downstairs. Annie sat in the kitchen with two cups of tea. Kagome smiled and she sat down. She put her head down and a deep sigh escaped her lips. Annie sat her cup down and she frowned, “Kagome tell me what happened.”

 

“I saw…Inuyasha kissed Kikyo, I could take it any more…He pushes me to the side every time Kikyo comes into View…Sango has nothing left, She lost her entire family and now Miroku, The monk she was going to marry, Every time a young woman comes into View he asks her to bear his child…..Mom Sango has no one but me. I couldn't leave her”

 

Annie thought for a moment and then she smiled, She took her daughters hand in hers and she let out a little laugh, “what would you think about Adopting Sango. She could be your sister and my daughter…..She could have a family again.” Kagome smiled brightly and she hugged her mother tightly.

 

“that's great, Thanks mom.”

 

Kagome ran upstairs smiling, She walked into her room and she shut the door. Sango slowly opened her eyes and she smiled softly, “What did your mom say?” Kagome knelt on the ground and she smiled as she whispered,

 

“Tomorrow we are going to the court house and my mom is going to adopt you and give you my last name…Your going to have a family again Sango.”

 

Sango's eyes filled with tears and she hugged Kagome tightly. That night was the first night Sango and Kagome slept peacefully. The next morning Kagome let Sango borrow some of her clothes and the family plus Kilala and Buyo(sp) went to the courthouse. By the afternoon Sango had become Sango Higurashi. They Family took her shopping and they ended the night at a fine restaurant.

 

The next day Sango went to school with Kagome. She managed to become fast friends with Hojo and the girls. Life for Sango was beginning to finally work out.

 

Meanwhile back in Feudal Japan, Miroku and Inuyasha were going insane while trying to find the girls. They were going to search every corner of Japan if they had to…Inuyasha sighed as he started Running again,

 

“How could I have been so stupid.”
