Chapter 5: Awkward Conversation, A New Friend
Kagome had just had lunch with Sesshoumaru....the most awkward meal she had ever had! 'How can he say talk about that during a meal!?' She thought as she stormed towards the gardens.
Flashback
Kagome had walked into the dining area arm in arm with Sesshoumaru, silently wondering about her future plans.. They sat down, servants bringing in their meal. 'Ohmygod!!!' Kagome thought, 'I'm surrounded by demons!!!' she yelled in her mind, tensing and putting her senses on guard.
"There is no reason to be nervous." Sesshoumaru commented, staring at her again.
'Why does he do that!' "Well, I'm sorry if my senses are going crazy!" Kagome yelled at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru just smirked, but it disappeared as soon as Kagome's glare hit him.
"I would like to ask you a few more questions." Sesshoumaru said, changing the subject.
"Sure..what is it?" Kagome asked, nervous about what questions he would ask.
"How many pups are you planning on having?" Sesshoumaru asked, becoming extremely nervous by the face Kagome made..but he didn't show it! He just looked on plainly, trying not to flinch at the extreme glare he was given.
"...Please excuse me for a moment..." Kagome said, getting up and walking out of the room. As soon as she was about 20 feet away from the door, she made a mad dash for her room. Although, she didn't have much luck. As she was about to get to the room, she ran into something hard. Kagome looked up slowly, praying to every god in existance that it wasn't who she thought it was. 'Aparently, no one up there likes me all that much...' Kagome thought, attempting to walk around Sesshoumaru to her door. As she was about to slide open the door, she was picked up and carried back to the dining area.
"You must eat, or you will become ill." Sesshoumaru commented, still holding her as he walked into the dining area.
"Then i'll eat in my room!" Kagome yelled, starting to struggle.
"You must eat with me, or you will not know your mate in any way." He replied, holding on to her tighter.
"How do YOU know I'm going to choose to be your mate anyway?! Your such an overconfident jerk!" Kagome yelled, getting free and running out of the room.
End Flashback
"That jerk..." She mumbled, then sighed. "I need to calm down." Then she remembered that she promised to meet Rin in the garden after eating. "That should cheer me up!" Kagome said excitedly, starting to run towards where she thought were the gardens. After a few minutes, she decided to admit that she....was lost. "Where am I?" Kagome whined in frustration, seeing someone down the hall, but she couldn't quite see their face. 'This seems familiar...' she thought, recognizing it almost immediately. "It's you!!" Kagome yelled, running up and using her powers to attack who she thought to be Naraku.
"AAAAAHHHH!!" The demon screamed, falling to the ground with a giant burn mark on their back. Kagome finally decided to open her eyes, since she had decided to close her eyes while attacking, so she wouldn't freak herself out and decide to run the opposite direction.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I thought you were someone else!" Kagome said leaning down to the poor demon servant...'Um...ok...maybe not servant...' she thought, just noticing his armor and spear....
"I am alright mylady, please forgive this lowly guard for frightening you." The guard replied, bowing down below her, wincing in pain.
"No! No! I must be the one apologizing! Please, allow me to heal you!" Kagome said, leaning over him and laying her hands on his back. He flinched slightly, but she was able to push her power into his back, healing it instantly. "There, do you feel better?" she asked, leaning back and sitting on her calves.
"I am much better mylady, I thank you very much." The guard replied, getting up to report to his post.
"Oh! I am Kagome, by the way." She said, looking at him with friendlyness in her eyes.
"I am...Hiro." He responded, smiling slightly, and turning back to walk to his post.
"It was nice to meet you Hiro!" Kagome called, about to turn the opposite direction, then remembering why she had run into him in the first place.."Oh! Um..before you go...could you show me the way to the gardens?" she asked, blushing and looking up at him expectedly.
"Of course mylady, follow me, if you will." Hiro said, turning towards the direction to the garden.
"Oh! Please stop with the formalities! Just call me Kagome." Kagome said, laughing and smiling at his suprized look.
"Um..of course my..I mean, Kagome." He replied, smiling back slightly.
End
im sry that this chappie is so short! i have to go, and i will update sometime later today i hope... and plz, if u really feel that there sumthin wrong with my story, tell me! i wanna make the story to ur liking! woah...that made me sound a bit to smart...if i ever type that again, tell me....heehee
